Dear poster, your enquiry is a bit confusing but from I was able to deduce, this is what I can tell you: If you really have been following the thread like you stated, you woulda noticed that we do not encourage people to lie during visa interviews. You cannot knowingly mislead a VO and then come here and ask us to help you cover up an obvious lie. If you really told them you were pregnant, then you have no problem, but if you didn't, then I suggest you go on ur vacation (assuming that is what you told the VO u needed the visa for) but I don't know how you want to convince a CBP officer that you are just coming for vacation with an obvious big belly.
Except someone else has a contrary opinion, this is mine sha. Except I misunderstood you post. I wish you luck though. I hope this is a 'useful' reply.

munah123457:
Ok I'm a new member and I have been following this thread. My case goes like this
Myself, dad and younger sister attended US interview on the 8th of March 2017, and we were all granted Visa.

Actually I am 31weeks gone when we went for the interview and I went with my dad and younger sister, and my mum has a valid visa. But my husband didn't apply.

I know if I use the visa to birth, it might create problems for me in the future as my DS160 form states that I am a student, so have zeroed my mind for using it to birth.

I need advice on how I can effectively use my visa without creating any suspicion that will lead to refusal or ban. I've decided that I should apply with my baby after his one year. Then I'm thinking won't the VO start calculating and say I was pregnant while I applied and refuse me or should I travel first b4 I reapply with my baby?

Please urgent and useful reply

Were you asked if you were pregnant during your visa interview? It's not a crime to be pregnant and apply for a visa. It becomes an issue if you lied. You can apply for your son after you give birth and travel with him

Unsafe POE are places where alot of people are refused entry such as chicago and houston
I have never used JFK
ur most likely to meet a black or indian cbp at dulles/bwi so they themselv.es are not pure breed americans imho
Etihad and qatar have had a few issues lately with passengers being turned baack for flimsy reasons so its reasonable to be wise and go through places like atlanta or dallas where they are reasonable
I might be wrong
pls anyone flying british airways do you know if they accept naira or I must pay in dollars

British airways don't accept Naira debit cards anymore. You'll have to pay with a USD card or call British airways to book for you and you'll pay at Gtbank.
I tired that and the price I was given was ridiculous.

Yes you can, but will mostly be ignored. If you did not feel fit to fly then why did you make the attempt to fly to the US in the first place? If no doctor would dare, then you just admitted that the "fit to fly" certification with which you boarded the flight to the US was a fraud. We cannot simply continue to hold other nations to ransom over our own selfish needs.

No time for pointless and biased arguments

That is bizarre. There is no correlation between "safety" and being denied/allowed entry at a POE. If you're a genuine traveller, you should have zero problems at any POE... they are staffed by the same agency, following the exact same laws. The idea that you can zero in on certain POEs as "safe" simply because you think they'd be staffed by "blacks or Indians" is absurd. Basically you're saying the "blacks or Indians" do not apply the rules the same way as the "whites" or in simple language - are just as crooked as we are.

What is a "pure breed American"? lipsrsealed

No one is turned back for "flimsy reasons". The rules are the rules. Thousands of people follow them and are let in at the same POEs daily.

Lastly, to the section i highlighted... thank you for reinforcing the view that we are fundamentally a dishonest set of people hellbent on looking for loopholes to exploit rather than follow simple rules. Bravo.

What do the number of blacks in an area have to do with procedures at the POE?

A more general question based on some of the answers i've noticed lately - what does it mean to have a "safe" POE? I thought all POEs were safe, from a security standpoint?

Your post is complete nonsense. You can as well pass on the conversation about POE. Last I checked you don't have to put yourself through the UNSAFE and SAFE poe we unfortunate things have to go through. So you take a pass.

I was under the impression that the letter should come from your doctor. Why would a doctor be at an airport to do "fit to fly" tests on a woman whose medical history he is unaware of?[/qukote]
The week I got into the USA was the week I delivered..the doctor shouldn't have taken my delivery since they don't know my medical history and I never attended any antenatal class..I wonder why they are doctors.. So a doctor must know my medical history before he attends to me.even when there is an emergency...cool down oooo

Hello house, seems i have a unique challenge i think. Applied for US passport 27th of Feb and was told to fill in zeros for the SSN. I just received a mail now from the passport office, telling me to send the SSN or sign an attestation to that effect.

Has anyone encountered this? How do I go about it cos my travel date is dangerously here ooo. Thanks for suggestions in advance grin

from information on the website, its important that you write a declaration once you dont have SSN.

You must provide your child's Social Security number, if they have been issued one, in accordance with 22 U.S.C. 2714a and 22 C.F.R 51.60(f).
If your child does not have a Social Security number, you must submit a statement, signed and dated, that includes the phrase, “I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States of America that the following is true and correct: (Child's full name) has never been issued a Social Security Number by the Social Security Administration.”
For more information, please see Frequently Asked Questions.

#copied.

I also need the format for the declaration if any one has it.

Like it or not even in Naija the Dr would have to know ur medical history. Haven't u seen hospitals in Naija reject emergency cases much more a more developed country. Pls try and come in earlier. If anything happened. God forbid the Dr would be blamed most times. That is y dey don't risk it..

Good morning everyone.

I will love to notify the US Consulate about my change of intent to travel. I have a B1/B2 class Visa, it was primarily for Business( to attend a Professional Conference ) but my Visa/ Passport arrived some days after I was slated to travel, so I couldn't travel.

I applied for this Visa while undergoing my studies in the Uk and returned immediately after graduation. I took In immediately but unfortunately had a miscarriage. I have taken in again but my husband wants better healthcare for me this time around. We have decided I will go for childbirth in the US with our savings, however I don't know if my visa will pose any form of challenge.

Kindly give pieces of advice/ suggestions on what to do should there be any challenges at the POE.
I am due in August.

I will be grateful.
Thank you .

You were not pregnant when you got your visa so I dont think you have any problem, or will have anyproblem. Just take along the proper birthing documents and lots of cash when crossing POE

Dont mind me

Actually, I had an experience sometime in 2015 as well- Can't remember which exactly but I think it was the American Passport- I was turned back to go get a money order.

We had a nice experience with him the last time and nothing has changed really.

I Actually went for his Full package- he provides accommodation by the side, peeps in to check on you medically from time to time while his wife has a standby car to take you to wherever you want to go whenever you want to.

PS: Thanks for the info! Appreciate
Hello, I don't know if you have completed the process , but if you are in a hurry, then for the Nigerian passport, there is a business centre opposite the embassy. The costs are there.
