Hello everyone, pls for married applicants, how did you get your marriage certificate to fit into your scanner considering the length of our 9ja marriage certificate. Tried severally , but I have not been able to scan the entire cert without cutting some parts off . Suggestions anyone ?

Make a photocopy and make sure they reduce the size to A4. Thats what you will scan

You can add his work experience in 'personal history' only to help avoid having to get a reference letter... Also add his travel history. You will not have a problem.

Add you BSc only to your personal history and not education (Add only MSc here).

But all these are only available after ITA.

Hello All, Is it ok to remove NYSC from work experience after ITA (this will not affect the years i'm claiming for work experience, as i have more than 3 years in another company)? How does one get reference for NYSC if the place of primary assignment isn't willing to give one? (I have call-up letter, posting letter and ID card)
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by boldinc(m): 9:09am On Mar 13, 2017
You can take it out of employment and add it to personal history. That way, you will not need to get a reference letter... As long as you do not need it to add to your work experience as you said.

I am surprised about this statement that GTB doesn't give the letter to CIC spec. I worked with GTB for almost a year and I have gotten a reference letter from HR headquarters with every single detail requested by CIC included in the letter. Who did you contact for the letter?

I kinda agree it was NOC mismatch that caused this. I am using NOC 0122 in my application as I was also an Executive Trainee in ABG (Marketing).

Sha, like I always say, I trust God fully, and I try to be careful. My faith carry heavy weight so I'm not scared by this.

After reading the judgement, I don't think it was NOC mismatch that primarily caused the problem otherwise the application would have just been rejected. What caused the problem is misrepresentation(claiming that you did something which you never did). Probably if he had just got a supervisor s letter in plain paper and Notarized stating his actual position this wouldn't have happen. It is well known that what matters most is that your duties match the NOC code chosen not the title.

I quite agree with you. They reject a lot of people due to NOC mismatch but they don't ban them. This is a case of misrepresentation. Don't claim your LOE is form HR when it is from someone else. Also, how come the 2 people involved sent the email via the same email address on the same date? It is really suspicious. After everything, the applicant could still not provide proofs that he was working as a Credit Supervisor. A letter from his supervisor and a LOE that indicates he could not get it from his HR due to the bank's policy would have exonerated him.

Hello everyone, well done to all the gurus here, and those who take time out of their schedules to answer questions, may God reward your labour of love. So, am the new kid on the block here, as green as can be, I just have the urgency now to process this, but don't even know how to begin. This is my profile: I have a B.Sc, but i've not been working in line wt my degree, av been teaching since 2010-2012, took a break into Insurance marketing in 2012-2015, and then went back to teaching where i currently am. My husband also has a B.Sc, but has been in the Insurance industry for 9years [now a unit supervisor]. I also have an admission now for a masters here in Nigeria, and i seriously don't know what to do. Please everyone, enlighten, what would be your best advice to me and my family. [We have a child]

It is difficult without some assumptions to answer your questions. You need to take your time to read from page 0 and get all the information you can get from the thread. If you have specific questions after this, then you will be able to get answers to your questions.

Yes, IELTS and then evaluate your degree simultaneously...

Read page '0' of this thread... Most basic details you need are on there. However these 2 options are recommended for evaluation - www.wes.org and IQAS.

Hi Guys, Under my personal history, I have just two items. My present work: where I ll clock ten years in a few months and a twelve months period when I was unemployed. Kindly recall tht the period under reference is always from ones 18th birthday or from the past ten years. I find it rather strange that I have only two items in mine considering I'm accounting for activities in the past ten years only ? Is it ok?

No problem with this, if the "last Ten years" rule is what you applied, ensure the few months left of the 10years W/E are also covered. if perhaps, while on the job for this long period, you worked elsewhere or took some other roles, or traveled, you need to declare.

Does one need to upload transcripts along side educational documents?

Not necessarily, Certificates relating to ECA is just fine.

Hello house! Just want clarifications. I have aBSc from one university and an MBBS degree (Medici e/surgery) from another university. I saw in an earlier post that a Pharmacist did not need WES to evaluate his degree instead its the pharmacy council in Canada. Can I use WES for both degrees(may save cost-2 stones to kill 1 bird) or I need to evaluate my MBBS with the physician and surgeons council of Canada, then evaluate my BSc separately with WES or just evaluate only the MBBS which may score higher on CRS?
I feel using both degrees will increase my scores . although I'm applying for Canadian Masters now. Thanx

You seem to know the answer to your question, but the cost involved is what make you still ask grin . Anyways, WES can not evaluate both degrees, and sorry, you can not use one stone to kill the two birds, the birds are not mate neither are they close to each other. Yes, you are right, MBBS is evaluated by the aforementioned body and will increase your CRS, albeit, quite expensive.
However, if you have projected a good score using your BSC alone, then you can just evaluate that and be in the pool.

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by deeore: 12:51pm On Mar 13, 2017
PLEASE AM YET TO GET A RESPONSE

I have questions while i await ITA hopefully....
1) when i was much younger my mum used my stepdad lastname to apply for us visa for me, i got d visa and used it a couple of times to us and also to uk, all this was before i was 18yrs old.
When i was older i did an affidavit of change of name to my real name. I also mention it wheneva i fill all these embassy forms dat i ve at some point used another name.
My confusion is if i should also mention it for the canny runs and would an affidavit pass for evidence of change of name...
Note: i dont have newspaper publication for the initial change and the only passport i have in that name has only my uk visa in it,the previous trips to us is not there as the passport got burnt in a fire incident... I have an affidavit to that effect listing the passport as one of the lost documents.
2) my current passport is in my maiden name... Do i have to get a new one with my marital name for canada. I use this passport for us and dubai travels with the family.
3) @dupsychoo please can i get a copy of your loe... Pleaseeeeeeee
4) i am claiming points for working at lagos state internal revenue service. Should it be under personal or government?
@dupsychoo @boldinc @vcole and all the wonderful gurus... Cant remember your handles.

I can only answer this as it also relates to me. I am still using my maiden name in everything. My international passport is still valid for some years and since I have not used my married name anywhere, hubby did not see any reason to start pursuing change of name. So I am using my passport in my maiden name for this canny waka.

1. This question is not so clear. However, use your current passport with your maiden name to apply. In the application, declare all former names where it is ask. After ITA, you may as well upload old passport biopage with the change of name Affidavit. i doubt this is necessary.

2. A marriage cert. and newpaper change of name advert, serves as a blanket cover for all documents in maiden name.

3. You may PM her
