Before religion turned politics and social organisations, the main goal of humans was not to seek or belong to a religion. This was the original design actually: it is for man to 'know thy self' instead.

So the sincere spiritual seeker, who in his heart asks for truth and direction, may meet a 'Spiritual traveller'. What's that you may ask cheesy? And why the 'travel'? I will explain later.

Well, if you seek to know truth, understand that it's already within you...any location else is false! The goal of the Spiritual Travellers and God ITself is to lead you to yourself and not any building or gathering or even to a God out there!

So about the 'Travel' thingy. It's unfortunately the 'lost world' of religion. The gates to this world was deliberately closed by the men...largely their goal was to blindfold people into patronising their stock.

How is truth gained via 'Travel'-Spiritual travel? You do that via your dreams for starters. Your dream was a classic case of this Spiritual Travel; save for the fact that the memory is a bit distorted...hence it's labelled "Dream".

Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:2 has a classic example of what am referring to. Unfortunately for the Christians, that's the only biblical reference of Spiritual Travel. So who was St Paul's benefactor for that trip to the Third Heaven?

At the Base level is the interest in dreams, followed by an inquisitive spirit ( the dream world is a tourist destination) and all-importantly lots of love for what you're doing.

Keep a dream journal!

I don't really like dream journals because if you have a bad dream you are crystalising it more by writing it down.

Instead write down only good dreams and the beautiful expectations you are looking forward to on this Sid of the Hologram smiley

What are your thoughts chieveboy?

All of life is liquid really. About the concern on written dream being crystalized, actually you can let go of bad dreams when you write it down. The purpose of the journal is to help retain the memory, if one can't remember even a bad dream, how would one change it?

I suppose you are aware bad dreams can be replayed and the outcome changed to better ones via the imagination. Like changing an arrow shot at you to something nice....? Thanks.

Will I say I am aware? In a sense Yes, I can say I have been exposed to that information.

cheesy

Ok...like it is, life is liquid or 'plastic'. It's not permanent and gone, even the past; cos it will resurface as the future. So we live as masters of our lives by replaying and remodelling not just dreams but physical events which didn't turn out favorable. We ensure we have a say in the past, present and the future...and finally surrender the outcome to the will of God.

There are Spiritual Exercises for these things which you can try.

Welcome Sire

Thanks.

spiritual traveler......why the travel .....especially when you are not seeking any truth.

why is one person being loaded with lots of dreams...good and bad.....when one doesn't know what to make of it.

How do you take advantage of this and utilize it for the good of mankind.
Re: At A Cross Roads About Religion? Hop In! by chieveboy(m): 9:25am On Mar 13, 2017
So abouth Truth and Dream/Spiritual travel. How do you gain truth while travelling?

We gain truth by experience and not by reading about it off Nairaland, a book or from a preachers speech. As Souls, we are "doers of the word" by default...we don't learn by reading alone. Reading and hearing are gateways to the main thing: Experience!

Reason is earthly life and how things manifest here is limiting, faulty and sometimes the opposite of what truth really is. It has to do with the 'membrane' with which the physical world is made of. Like how a mirror can only reflect something...and not display anything thing of its own volition.

So as against Clergy opinion that God or truth is a reserve of the so-called righteous, born-again, theist or whatever, truth is actually available for all. Much like if you satisfy the requirement for using the Internet, you have it!

What's the requirement for being shown truth about anything? Refer to the bolded on the top! It's that simple and easy smiley

spiritual traveler......why the travel .....especially when you are not seeking any truth.

Everybody travels. We (everyone) do not dwell in the body for long. We leave or travel during naps etc...in short, each dream is actually a travel! In fact you seek truth! You seek truth in choosing a lover, getting a job, and even places to live in. I am seeking to relocate. Last night in a dream, I got a perfect idea of how the search it's going to turn out...before then, it was a merry-go-round. So seeking truth is not necessarily "oh father, show thyself to me"

why is one person being loaded with lots of dreams...good and bad.....when one doesn't know what to make of it.

Lol actually the question should refer back to you. Why do you travel and see those things?

How do you take advantage of this and utilize it for the good of mankind.

This is the most important aspect isn't it. The importance are too numerous to list. All things that has to do with your physical existence has happened or happens in the dream lands. So your waking life is an aftermath. Not being aware of the backroom makes you a 'victim' and subject to fate.

Secondly, Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, The Apple guy (forgot his name smiley) and anyother inventor in medicine, technology and education all got their ideas from the other side. This is cos all prototype of their inventions can be found at a museum in the dream lands. All future inventions and any fashion trend or whatever that is to come already exist there. There exists the best laboratories...their libraries are a researchers paradise...

Nope! Actually the vibration emanating from the HU is actually a lifter...you find your 'square root' after lifting yourself. There are tones of exercises to use...you can create your own too.

The exercise is about taking charge of the events that happen in your life. Can you play Chess or Draughts or foot ball...any game you know well?

Imaging a circumstance in your life as a game of Chess...it could be a situation where you need an upper hand on an issue or anything. Then imagine yourself as the God of the situation, from your place up there on high, begin to change the positions of the players on the board to your advantage...protect your position...make sure there was a happy ending to it and as always, surrender the outcome to the will of God-to the forces of love cos that's the true power not brute force ( it's important)

Take note though: you shouldn't use your imagination to take advantage of others, as in using it to cheat a debtor or something...no one can cheat nature,

Secondly it's for your personal use only except if someone ask you to help them spiritually...it is against spiritual law to interfere in anyone's life...not even praying for them for healing without their permission! Some bad things happen to 'Good people' without them knowing they brought it upon themselves by flouting spiritual laws out of ignorance.

@chieveboy,

Your post is making so much sense!!!

1.At the entrance to the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, ancient Greece, there was an inscription that read "KNOW THYSELF"!!! It did not say "Worship the sun" or "Apollo will save you"

2.Those who practice the religion known as "CURRENT 218", insist that it is only when a man awakens his 'Black Flame', that he will know who he truely is in life!!! It is a religion of "Self Realization"!!!

3."Your own Self-realization is the greatest service you can render the world"-Ramana Maharshi

Indeed my brother! The thing is that the God we seek, all the good things of life and any other thing is within us!

A story was told of a monk who was bent on finding God. He was so serious and in his contemplation, he actually saw the immense light characteristic of deep meditation...he later taught to have seen and found God. He grabbed the glorious robe of God holding it tightly lest It escapes him...only to be woken and found that he was holding tightly at his own gown.

The following story is a lesson that our dreams are real, and it's a confirmation that our sincere efforts at truth can be rewarding.

A Master from Her Dreams Gives the Gift of Love
By FB

When I was nine years old, I began having visits in my dreams from an old Asian man. He had a long white beard and the most beautiful eyes. They seemed to look right through me. He wore a funny little hat on his head and had a beautiful smile. Every night he would talk to me about life and explain the meaning of different things I wondered about.

One afternoon I went to a movie with my girlfriends. We were standing in line waiting to buy our tickets, laughing and being silly like normal nine-year-old girls. Suddenly I felt something. I looked past the booth where they sold the tickets. There stood the man who had been in my dreams for almost a year. When our eyes met, he nodded at me. Then he was gone.

I didn't think to turn around to my girlfriends and say, "Look at that man over there! He is the man from my dreams!" For some reason it seemed best to keep silent.

That very night he came to me again in my dreams. He said, "Tonight will be the last time I meet with you. I have to leave you now. I have to go away."

I replied, "Oh, but I'm going to miss you! I wish you didn't have to leave."

He said, "I have to do what I have to do, but just so you know that dreams are real, I have a gift for you." He placed a white plastic barrette in my hand and curled my fingers around it. Then he was gone.

When I woke up the next morning, the white barrette was really in my hand!

I began thinking about my parents, especially my mother. If she saw me with this barrette she would want to know where it came from. She wouldn't understand that a man in my dreams gave it to me. Before anyone else awoke, I snuck out of the house. I went out to the backyard, dug a hole, and buried the barrette.

But I only let go of the barrette's physical aspect. The true meaning of the gift never left me. That gift gave me the understanding of the true reality of our inner and outer lives. It proved that dreams are real.

I'll never forget the wonderful man who taught me in my dreams. At the time, I didn't know his name. Years later when I found the teachings of Eckankar, I discovered he was the ancient Chinese ECK Master, Lai Tsi.
