A government that will pass a bill and still turn around to sue the people the bill was meant for, is that one a government.

The same peace corps who were defended and the sss was forced to apologise to for being in possession of unlicensed firearms is now being prosecuted, but how was the bill passed into law? Through the ass of the Senate? Dead me now tell tales!

Recently wó? Nothing was passed man. Get your information right. That's the false information the Peace Corps leadership peddled so as to get more Nigerians to sign up by way of purchasing forms and enrolling for their training.

There is no confusion here except the one born out of your misunderstanding of your abused mind.
A bill must be signed into law after passage by NASS b4 the law can recognise and protects its operation or operators.

But that Bill has not been signed into law therefore peace corp has not been empowered to conduct themselves as a paramilitary organization

I think they were charged because of their activities before they were recognised by the senate recently. Just like telling someone, "your sins shall find you out". Talking about past sins.

A lot of bad belle people here. You all will die of hunger and joblessness. When NPC is signed into law most of you will still be carrying your CVs about and many more will now try to lobby their way to get the job later. I pirri you.

Be happy for your brother's downfall. When it is signed I'll lay a curse on all of you that said something bad above me.

Some people here are fools and ignorant of what they are saying. We told them from inception that Peace Corps bills will not be passed and now its clear. Having paid that huge amount of money and the unconstitutional trainings are illegal. How many paramilitaries are we having? Duplication of duties, Civil Defence can not try offenders, they have no cell nor constitutional allowed to carry arms except the special squad, they passed through light training......... They are duplicating the Police duties. Now, what will the Peace Corps do? How many military personnels do we have in Nigeria and somebody was promising to recruit 800,000 youths and people are rushing to dump their hard earned money into the bottomless pit of Peace Corps. Assuming they want to recruit, those aged, physically imbalanced, weak and the pot bellies.........are they going to be absorbed? That was why they were not under the Ministry of interior. Forget about this Peace Corps and look for another thing. Buhari is a retired General and he understood the concept of military and para military. He will not sign the bill and if signed they will not be absorbed by the Federal Government. "One chance loading"

What people failed to understand is that peace corps bill was sponsored/passed by the Senate as an NGO, not security outfit. So the possibility of government absorbing them is very slim

Why should a specific NGO require the national assembly for its passage?

Why should the national assembly dabble into this particular NGO when it is just a mere company registered in CAC as Non governmental organisation just like every other NGOs out there?

By the action of the National Assembly regarding this NGO, shouldn't every other NGOs out there lobby for its own bill?
