Good evening gurus Please I travelled to SA via Ethiopian airline last year and had to stop over at Addis for a day before flying to SA. My question is:While filling the ds 160 form should I list it as part of travel history or put it as transit. Please help |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by optimusprime2(m): 1:00am On Mar 18, 2017 |
desrie:Did Ethiopian immigration stamp entry on your passport? If not then you should' nt include that on your DS-160, as you have no documentation to proove you were in Ethiopia- unless you had Ethiopian entry and exit stamps. 4 Likes |

Hello house, I have returned to say a big thank you to the house.Visa was granted for me,my wife and son on Wednesday 15th in Abuja. Please,I need advise; "When filling the DS-160 FORM I stated we shall be staying for 2 weeks which was actually by initial plan, but right now I have decided to extend it to 3 weeks to enable me visit a couple of film studios in New York as a film director. I want to know is it an offence if I now tell the officer at POE that we are staying for 3 weeks, after already filled 2 weeks in my DS-160 FORM?. Please,I need your sincere advise so I don't attract any penalty. Thanks 1 Like |

Visitors to the U.S are entering without problem especially Africans and most of them came in through the ME3 Middle east carrier and Turkish airline... Stop this rumor about people flying in thru ME3 were mostly turned back.. it's a lie a big fat lie. 1 Like |

Hi guys, Pls has anyone bought PTA recently through Gtbank, Access bank, First Bank, or Fidelity Bank? What's the process and duration pls? Will they sell dollar at CBN rates? I really would like to buy at bank rates for my upcoming trip, saves one a lot of money than buying at Black Market rates. Thx |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by OmoBendel24: 9:02am On Mar 19, 2017 |
jenny2007: It's happening, I have seen UBA and Fidelity go through seamlessly. NGN375 seem to be the lowest I have seen even though I read of lower rates @ First Bank somewhere, but I doubt that.... Happy Sunday y'all! 1 Like |

PHOOMI: From Ojota, take a yellow/traditional taxi to VI (Victoria Island), Walter Carrington Crescent, or you can take any other cab or Uber. Going by bus to the US Consulate may leave you ruffled for the interview. If you will be driving, better to check google maps, or ask someone around you. Lagos is big! For hotel, Lagos is big and it also depends on your preferences. You can check booking.com, there are hotels within walking distance from the Consulate. If you want something not too far and not too expensive, you can find from N10,000 upwards in Lekki Phase 1. 1 Like |

No they don't, my first visa interview was for a government A2 visa. I was still called for an interview, even though I was part of a government delegation. Its basically two parts - the submitted form and the oral interview. America001: |

Hello everyone. From what I see here, it will make golden of gurus here to pen down detailed possible questions one could encounter at interviews and best ways to answer them to succeed. Secondly, it will also be good to pen down the 'do' and 'don't' at the interview spot. Thanks. 1 Like 1 Share |

America001:You were interviewed and in that one minute, the indices were checked Unmarried No Travel history Your parents have other kids taking care of them (I believe) Your form was also perused for work details so they had that. Reapply when there is a significant change in the above factors |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by LadyGuinivere: 7:34am On Mar 20, 2017 |
chukwubyk:Hello. Respecfully, you have clearly not been reading. Cos some good folks have posted those lots of times (which pained me cos I'm of the opinion it encourages indolence) ALL the transcripts here are the possible questions. They aren't different. Other internet sources also have faqs at the interviews. The Dos and Donts are also contained in the advice given here everyday, the US embassy website and in common sense. All you need to do is actually harvest the information here. Waiting for a handout is the ist step to failure. But be waiting sha. Person fit do the research for you , post am for you. Good luck 1 Like |

lymelyte:Lol. Which languages do you speak? As for clan? Do you have any clan you know of? Most of us no longer associate ourselves with our clans. I'm of the opinion that that section applies to folks (like native americans and others) that still live in communes and have an active clan. I don't believe that section applies to you unless you and your people are still living in your village and running things clan style 1 Like |

banks101: It's not about "getting it wrong." Looking at this, it appears that you had insufficient ties at the time of the interview. You were a single male with no travel history and limited time employed in your position. Now, your ties are better established. You have to interview before a VO will assess whether your ties are sufficient at this point, but you should also be able to self assess and see how things are different and whether or not you would qualify under the criteria outlined by the law. |
