I just remembered my pet,a cat. It was a baby cat. I loved it... I love touching its soft body. Baby cat couldn't eat most of the food it was given because we didn't know the best food for baby cat. We never bothered to find out (I still blame myself for this). Baby cat died on the 25th of dec last year. I cried seriously...the bond we shared was broken... I remember it wanted to enter my room a night to the day my cat died but I didn't allow him in because he has his own room. I felt sad because I think I would have prevented his death if I had allowed him in my room. We just woke up the next morning and saww Baby cat half dead. It's was a sad day for me.

Google the meaning of euthanasia. Or u never heard of patients with incurable diseases or being sustained by life support machines and with the concent of the patient and his families they sign an agreement for the doctor to pull the plug and put the patient out of his misery.

Even a lion has been killed this way in Philadelphia USA. The Lion was 25 yrs old and it's systems have become too old to sustain, it was euthanized, so I don't see the big deal here when a man decides to let his dog rest when it has become too old to cope.

My dog is almost 15 years old, stone deaf, partially blind, doesn't bark again because of the deafness, coughs non-stop when the weather is cool (not cold) but it has never crossed to our minds to put him down. This man was too hasty to murder his 'old friend'.

My darling Ruggedman may be completely useless now but he gave us the best years of his life; it is only fair of us to repay him for his years of unconditional love and loyal service. We will look after him till he takes his last breath.

God I love him so much!

I also remember my sweet and loyal Innocent. It's four years now but the pain remains fresh. *weep*

remembered when I gave my dogg a bath after which he licked his body and that was it..died after a week n I cldnt bury him until the 3rd day when blood were already comin out frm eyes n mouth...Killin that dog made Lil or no sense to me,if u loved it when it ws young u wld also be with it till death no matter what.

I had a friend just last december who had the same for her cat, only close relatives allowed though(I for like take my eye see), Not quite sure but I think it's legal in most Western Countries for animals.

Even in the American this is allowed sir.... When dogs age it's very difficult and painful for them .. I had a dog who once aged to the point she lost 65% of her skin hair became too weak to walk properly, started eating less or nothing it was painful watching her everyday like that.. When she died I can't tell you how relieved we were even though it was painful..... The man's story is truly touching... Hmm... Him putting the dog down is right way it shows alot of decency and respect towards the animal

Abortion is not legalized in Nigeria but do u want to deny that u don't know lot of ladies do abortion everyday? Euthanasia is not legalized but I know babies born with some serious disorders that are injected to die after advice from doctors and parents give their consent. It is better that way than allow a baby with serious medical disorder to live and suffer.

Would u allow the baby below to live and suffer,continue wasting all ur resources on him when it is very obvious he won't make it?
