Am interested in the answers to this question. Have had d case of fibroid. But my doc has not mentioned it since dis journey began. went for scan at 20weeks no fibroid mentioned, But last time I had abdominal pain the hospital I used conducted a scan and mentioned mayoma. I ignored them cos I know God has a perfect plan for me.
If a cs would include birthing lo nd removing fibroid, then I think it's beta.

It is very unlikely that your doctor will offer the two procedures in one go. The risks are too high.

You will do cs for your baby and will have to remove the fibriod at another date.

If your doctor says its going to be a simple procedure.... please run and go seek a 2nd and third opinion.

Honestly I can't remember. They are both small is just that one was bigger about the size of a table tennis ball. Both were in the upper part near my belly button not affecting lo at all. Just listen to your doctor. I eventually had a cs and my recovery was fast.

They don't like to remove fibroids during cs cos of bleeding. It's for yr own safety.
Having a vd or cs depends on the position of the fibroid. If it prevents the baby's head from descending into d birth canal, then ur doc will suggest CS. Almost all d scans I did said I had(it remains past tense IJN) at least 4 fibroids, the largest being almost 5cm. My doc said they would allow me "trial labour", esp since the fibroids were not blocking baby's head from engaging. As God would have it, labour progressed well and I didn't need CS
So my dear, it depends on the position. Where is it located?
