No I didn't see the thread but honestly speaking ladies were avoiding the Miami beach party thread and some were off track(not all though). There was a particular monicker that started with letter "p",I don't want to mention her monicker. While reading her post,I felt like throwing up.But wait a minute, what are you insinuating(I'm talking about the last sentence),you can't live on your past forever.
Common @poco hantas, there's a reason for every season,we all have our own stories to tell.Different strokes for different folks,I have read some of your posts on nairaland and I can boldly tell you that you always sound like a "broken angel" which is not good for you as a lady(no offence my opinion though). We have good guys and ladies in Africa also, but the evil and desperate ones are more than the good ones.I believe very soon, you will meet the right partner, you will thank me later(lol).Have a great day...
They avoided it because they know it's another avenue to insult Nigerian girls and that's exactly what it turned into. I've seen threads that people should learn from, evolve into a gender battle.
I'm not broken... LOL, some of those posts are meant to get the NL chauvinists riled up o, don't judge me by that.
I am a sweet girl in person, you could overdose on me cheesy.

It's not about whether it 'works' or not, it's about a lot of them not considering or even caring about the emotional and psychological impact they may be inflicting on previous wives when if the roles were reversed most men would not be able to take it. Some of the very places where polygamy 'works' have gone to the extent of even killing women that engage have engaged in polyandry, you hear multiple stories of sensitive men attacking women for rejecting them, these are the same people that try to 'dub' women as emotional and throw it around like it's a bad thing yet are ouctchea killing people for simply saying no lol

Lol values could also be a part of it but that's definitely not the only reason, point is emotional drives them to act that way, anger is an emotion too
I would like to have a discussion with you on your perceptions of the word feminism.

Bassey - You know I love you, Baby...
TBoss - Leave me alone, you'll love me during the day, and cuddle someone else at night...
cheesy

Now,
TBoss - I don't even know if it's working down there(V*****), I haven't had a stir for months now.
Bassey - There's only one way to know...
.
.TBoss - It's your body I like most among the guys in the house
.
Bassey - Debie, have you ever set the mood first?
Debie - Never! I'll do no such thing...

Hmmm...We don't need answers. By their fruits, we know them.

I will forever respect efe,and yesterday just gave me that right. I remember the day,the house mates were playing truth or dare games and TTT dared efe, knowing very well that efe is drunk, that he should demonstrate with a plastic cup how he would like to Bleep marvis, and efe when was about to say something, bassy and kemen shut him up by saying "keep quiet and drink the damn drink if u ain't doing it,you talk too much" efe wanting to state his fact was adamant and said "give me the damn cup,I will drink it,even all the drinks on this table,I will never do that to marvis,a woman is meant to be respected and not to be treated like trash,I will never do that to marvis because I respect her" and I swear if a man can defend you like that in your absence, because marvis was asleep then, imagine what he can do in your presence.
Alcohol is a terrible thing I swear, ttt picked condoms and shouting out for bisola, asking biggy to open the door, and biggy too, being a man and knows what it means to be on heat decided to help a brother out by opening the door, and he came on and off, bisola a bit ashamed to go because, every one heard him calling her, finally my girl followed and layed beside him...................... Some said they did, some said they didn't,but as a woman when a man on heat calls out for u,if u no go help out no go,because he no go rest till u help him out,and when u do,he go bath and sleep quietly. Dont blame bisola too much it's a week of kindness and na help out.#I no talk say they do oh!
Don't blame bisola, blame ur English teacher... ur usage of English is so wack

I will state it clearly, I do not support polygamous marriage. But then I understand some people are raised different in cultural practises or religion. The Saudi practise it and I see no negative effects on them including their royal family. Same in Nigeria also,I believe Sanusi said there would be a ban on it for the poor which is very understandable. Atiku did it and there are living fine so many others like that.
Therefore, i do not support polygamous marriage but I have acknowledged that in some group of people it works for them as a result I have chosen not to narrow everything down just to my 'own' view.
Being verbally abusive has to do with the values he was brought up with. Somebody who is very emotional would even find it reluctant to insults peoples parent or descend to diatribes.
This again has nothing to do with emotions, its just such men are morally deficient. Because there are emotional peeps who won't still give you a job even if you are a goddess but don't meet the requirements enough. Such men are principled.
I agree that life is definitely about balance and as such we need females just as females need males too in order for society to work.
You would notice I referred to men being emotional also in countering your points because being emotional is not bad because we have something called emotional intelligence which is a very useful tool in life.
The main point is females trying to judge every societal problems on gender base which is irrational. Both men and women raised this generation and as such when critiquing men the women should not be left out like in one way or another they did not contribute in the developments of these men. Point out where women are being alluded as being illogical?
The movie 'Hidden Figures' proves what women can achieve.
I agree with you, but my point is simple, some NL guys should leave Nigerian girls alone. They are not the cause of their problems...simple.
That thread was meant for us to appreciate the beauty of other countries, but NL guys would have none of that. They badged into the thread and started with Nigerian girls this and that. The girls retaliated, then someone says the girls were off pt.
Ain't buying that shi+.
