DanseMacabre: realjoker: Guys, please read the entire Ijaw rebuttal in the Tribune newspaper that he quoted, then go back and read Adebanjo's interview on the Yoruba people's wish to break away. You will not find any correlation between what Adebanjo said, and what the Ijaw leaders are now saying! Adebanjo did not even mention the Ijaw people in his interview, and yet the Ijaw leaders are opposing him claiming he tried to include the Ijaw in the proposed Oduduwa republic. Where did the miscommunication come from?? And why are the Ijaw leaders attributing a statement Adebanjo never made about their tribe, to the old man? What exactly is going on? Can you Yoruba people explain it to those of us that come from other ethnic groups? Till now, nobody knows who drew that proposed Oduduwa map! Where did it come from? Read Adebanjo's interview here:http://www.herald.ng/oduduwa-republic-yoruba-is-ready-to-break-away-from-nigeria-ayo-adebanjo/ seanet02: I wonder, o!! I read Adebanjo's interview and not once did the word "Ijaw", come up! So what are the Ijaw/Izon leaders going on about?? 9 Likes |

femolii: Too much saw dust in your brain. Since the Yorubas are and Igbos are averse to each other, and the Yorubas think they can get along with the causes, what is the big deal if we split the country along an Hausa - Yoruba, and Igbo axes? The minorities can also come together as one. Nobody believes in Nigeria as it is now but nobody is bold enough to divide it. Even the vaunted political amendments will not work and might indeed create bigger problems since minds have been made up. 4 Likes |

asuustrike2009:Wonderful. A reknown Afonje call Adebajo is planning of going out of Nigeria because of Buhari oppresive tendencies, you are there talking of GEJ's government cabals. Since when did Afonje become related to Izons. Continue to dream of GEJ while Buhari will press you, especially Thiefinubu into the gutters. 2 Likes |

mandarin: Chief Adebanjo never laid claim to the Ijaws or Izon in his interview. Please read exactly what the man said. So why are the Ijaw leaders getting their knickers in a twist and accusing the Yoruba people of wanting to colonise them, or force them into their proposed republic?? Something is fishy, o! Can you chaps explain it to the non-Yoruba folks like us? awelekiti: TonyeBarcanista: Go and read Adebanjo's interview with an open mind. You will see that he never mentioned the Ijaw people in his statements. Or have they been listening to Biafran propaganda again? |

bantudra:But of recent, it appears the Ibos are trying to disappoint the people of the south south. They seem to be in love with the hausas. Could it br because of the forthcoming elections? If they now want to join the hausas. Let us know on time so that we will withdraw our support. |

Exciton: With people like you still existing, I still sight a faint hope for this nation. Kudos! So much tribal & religion hatred in the land since the incompetent bubu forcefully took over power with the use of boko haram and lie Mohammed. I saw it coming, but bubu ass lickers are blind and deaf. Some cursed people would still post IstandWithBuhari. Buhari can't lead a develop country just for one month, he would be stoned with tomato everywhere he goes. If things get worse, how many countries are we dividing 9ja into, I curse the generation of the people that brought us together in the first place. I don't think breaking up is the right decision anymore, people will always come up continuously with this option because of greed. All we need is the right man up there, someone that is not influenced with tribe or religion sentiment. Educated person with the right ideas and policies to make the country great. #IStillBelieveIn9ja. 1 Like |

laudate:The Izon/Ijaw are only seeking for attention, I keep wondering how will a sensible Yoruba leader seek for an Odùduwà nation with Ijaw inclusive.
