It doesn't have to be a top premiership team but at least a mid table EPL or championship team. There are too many 17 & 18 year old players making waves across Europes top leagues.

For this reason when I think of the pedigree Osimhen brought to the table and he has not played first team at Wolfsburg this is not progress. Unless he Osimhen is not as good as has been initially believed.

Yes there's nothing wrong with Odeh playing for any of the under age teams if he's qualified. But which of our age grade teams is in play at the moment?

Musa was invited by Las Lagerback in the lead up to the world cup for camping, why not Stephen Odeh invited for an ordinary friendly?

The same Rohr who invited two homebased players in the world cup qualifiers against Zambia in Chisom and Obaje who were the inform hit men in the NPFL. A few months down the line the same manager didn't didnt bother inviting Stephen for a small matter of friendly games against African teams.

@bolded is not true. He was invited to the National team in 2010 for the 2010 World Cup but was forced out due to injury.

He even played in one the Africa cup of Nation qualifiers before he kicked a ball in Europe.

The was way back before the WYC.

If Esiti did not impress.. Simon Moses might have impressed.. Rohr has seen some highly rated home based players up-close but Jamiu Alimi looked like the only one who impressed him after the first camp (among the outfield players) and even him was not invited for the friendlies.

Nigeria should have a standing under 20/23 team that plays friendlies during FIFA breaks regardless of whether there is a tournament coming. A team that can be a conduit for the super eagles.

All of the prospects in the league and abroad should make up this team. We will then see those that are true quality.

From defenders: No 2, 13 and 3 look legit

From forwards: No 11, DEFINITELY 16 or less, number 9 and number 18 also look legit

From goalkeepers: No 1 is Definitely 17 at most, number 21, can't vouch for him

It is the same point, i have been making over and over again but you would rather think, i have something against Chisom because i mentioned his name a few times.
