Better put all these faith, righteousness and all whatnot in something and a university that is more likely to consider you. Same way ui doesn't take less than 2.1 they also don't take less than upper credit. Recently sef these categories are having less hope. I sha wish you the best in whatsoever you decide to do.

Hey dave, hope you're doing good! I think UI is always fair with their admission process, as in they pick very best of the best. Everyone with distinction or first class always aspire to make it to UI. You know say distinction dey swallow distinction sometime "Compare 4.5plus grade to 4.7plus" or "Compare 3.5plus to 3.7plus", You go see guys from East (Igbo) schools, North, West and South with competitive grade struggling for place in that type of school. So, for schools like UI distinction or first class no be gold for their eye, they probably have seen a lot of it.

I know two guys with distinction in Mechanical engineering both with (over 3.7) one was given Mechanical and the other Industrial engineering last year!

But as per Unilag, their own just weak me!

To, that bro that want to pick UI with 2:2, God work wonders but play by the rules sir!

last year I dashed Jamb free money. I applied for DE with three semester result. I didn't bother to further since they introduced screening. I no fit kon waste another 7k+ for OAU DE.
This year, Unilag all the way. Building Technology. Distinction (3.61). Can't tell if it's strong enough.

A recent graduate from the school advised me not to say the HOD dey vex with students from my school. Say they no perform well. Moreover, I don't have seven years I'm no longer using. Hehe

As am following this thread keenly, i am decoding useful info. I just hope my jamb regularisation pin is out before jamb DE is out. I will like to ask that which federal university in the north, can admit upper credit in civil engineering with Olevel (nabteb) at one sitting?.

I think you're good to! All will admit students with upper as minimum requirement is always upper credit.
But which Northern part? Core north? Bornu, Kano etc? or North Central?

Na that their own YCT preferential matter weak me oo. How them go sell form give everyone and then give all the slot to YCT students, that one na wickedness of the highest order now even when person meet criteria. They should just advertise the form for YCT to apply only than deceiving people.

I personally feel Uniben because OAU law is competitive as heaven just like UI medicine. My opinion though.

Hi guys I recently completed my ND in computer science... Distinction 3.6....what are my chances in DE at FUNAAB with this waec result:-
Maths c5
English B3
Biology c5
Physics. C5
Chemistry. D7

Which other school do I have better chances?

Ordinary maths I never know kon get C6 for Waec. How will I now offer f/maths? I no do o. My o'levels isn't that great. 2B3s, 4C5s, and 3C6s.

State university is a "No go area" for me. Financial issues. Although I know admission is sure there. I also want lesser competition. OAU (distinction and upper), Unilag (distinction only). By the way, na only God I sabi wey dey run free admission.

Please make sure you know the school you wanna goto and make thorough enquiry.

Bornu and Kano is no going zone because of thier state of security. I will prefer the middle birth north.
