My heart goes out to all who wrote today, the instruction to climb up the stairs for a 20 minutes article writing must have been heart piercing.

Very bad HR practice, i must confess. Even if it can't be stated explicitly that there would be an essay writing after the test, the invitation email should have included something to inform us that they would be other assessments in addition to the verification test.

PwC has decided to tweak their process this year hence we all are going to write a 200 word essay, all 702 of us.

Wish you the best of luck.

From my calculation, we should be 400.

10 per batch, 5 batches a day for 8 days.

or you could stop at lekki bus stop after marwa, cross the overheard bridge and take a keke going to eko hotel, tell them you are stopping at dangote.

Superdont:
If you're coming from the Ajah axis...
STOP at Sandfill bus stop. Cross to the other side of the road and you'll see Yesufu Abiodun Oniru Rd. You'd get a keke to CCP PLACE...
And Google Maps helped a lot *winks*

There was a list of candidates where we signed against our names as we got in.
There are 702 names on that list.

I flipped to the last page to check. grin

Your didn't even factor in recession into your analysis, last year the number of intake was lesser. I think in the range of 25-50 compare to previous years. Last year was only one batch compare to 2015 which was two batches.

Go early so you can practice abit and get used to the environment. If you're cold intolerant like me, dress to cover. The organizers were very nice and eager to help, so you'll settle in fine, no tension. Go with all the required documents, photocopies and TWO passports, and dont forget to print out your cv, someone did, the person was just graced that it wasnt the person's time yet.
For the verbal; all the passages were new and abit more complex than the online test, but its still possible to attempt all. Stay calm while reading through and making your selection, don't rush through, it's better to be sure of some and do "tum bo" for the rest, than to be unsure of them all.
For numerical; To me, each question required even more time to solve than for the online test, but it was still the same underlying principles, so practice to improve your speed.
For the essay/article/letter; take the first few minutes to gather your thoughts and bring out points on the topic, then expand on your points. Make sure your writing is legible and your punctuation and word usage are tiptop. Dont interchange "their" for "there", "where" for "were", etc. as we commonly see in nairaland comments cheesy
Success to everyone.

How many photocopies per document?
Re: PwC Nigeria Graduate Recruitment 2017 by Nobody: 10:12am On Mar 20, 2017
2015 they took more than 120 in two batches, 2016 was just 53 due to recession (Is the recession even over). so we can only pray cos at least 550 out of the 702 will go home empty handed. lets prays its not us.

advisory has not recruited trainees for 2 years. audit usually takes in 90% of trainees. Any one who chose advisory and does not have "cognate" experience ( not mushroom experience) and a strong masters/certification (majority of the applicants have foreign masters) is in for a long thing. God help us all
