In the midst of the economic recession in Nigeria, Pastor Oritsejafor and wife Helen via Word of Life Bible Church, (IGC) gave out 5 million naira to 100 beneficiaries to start up small scale businesses which is aimed at boosting their standard of living.

The beneficiaries who got 50,000 naira each were drawn from various Teaching Centres of the church through an open balloting system.This was part of the activities climaxed the Daughters of Sarah International Convention/Trade Fair 2017.Delegates who attended the programme from outside the state were also given wrappers.

there is a huge difference between 'giving' #5M to each member and 'sharing' #5M between One hundred members.

we are not to judge persons, rather actions of person. if we do not judge, how then do we separate right actions from wrong. Christ judge and he judge a lot so did Paul in his countless epistle to the church. however,what they obviously did not do was condemned anyone. yes you and I can judge men of God if their actions contradict scriptures and if we do so from a mind of trying to establish the truth. remember no one is greater than the scripture.

if we continue to keep mute on this many of this issues, then we are obviously encouraging them by such inaction. I most times feel ashamed when I see men of God being attack by people. who can blame them?. many of us deep down know that they how saying the truth. how long are we going to defend this men of God. who most times start with church income and now are filthy rich.

were are their farms or factory located? if its the church resources. are they suppose to lavish it on themselves. the reason they are given tax break is down to the fact they are charity outfit.

lastly I will say that all of us are apostles and prophet in our choosing profession. not only those standing on the alter are prophets. if God is using you to help people genuinely in your area of specialisation, then you are a true "man/woman of God".

. Na story you dey find. You lots criticize the businesses and charity some men of God do. You say their schools are expensive but they employ workers mostly from the church. They do lots of charity we don't know about. Some we come here to criticize cos some beneficiaries knelt down, but how different is it from those that kneels/prostrate to greet elders without any rewards? Don't forget these men of God are as old or even older than some of the people you prostrate for.

Well said Sir! This is usually the case.......most of the people criticising the man of God here have never helped even one poor person start a business, yet they talk the loudest in criticising somebody who has been helping thousands of people over the years simply because he is a man of God. They complain about tithes & offerings being collected by the church as if the church collects tithes & offerings at gunpoint from people. Those of us who pay tithes & give offerings are not complaining! we know we are simply obeying God's command in Malachi chapter 3. God clearly says we should pay tithes and give offerings. We all know God does not need the money in heaven, and so it has to be given to the church here on earth, and it is the finances that is used to run the church. Anybody who claims he is a Christian and does not believe in tithes & offerings for whatever reason is just fooling himself. When God has clearly given instructions on the matter, who are you as a human being to claim your opinion is wiser and better than God's instruction?
