I was trying to install a program and I mistakenly selected internet explorer to open all my .exe files, now I can't open any exe file, it keeps taking me to internet explorer. I have not been able to use my computer since then,please help. I tried restoring the system to a previous date yet it would not .i have not been able to use my computer since yesterday night

Hp is the brand.....you haven't told me the model. Check the back of the laptop, the frame, or press F1 when you switch on the system to reveal system information.

Well the freezing can be caused by many things from a faulty RAM, failing hard drive , Corrupt operating system, and a bad keyboard. I will advise you see a technician who will troubleshoot it and tell you where the problem is coming from. If you are in Lagos you can contact me on 08164685979.

Its either it displays or it doesn't display , if the image is blurred or you can't see it properly, then that is a screen, signal cable or VGA problem.

Good day bro,i bought a UK used laptop laptop last week,i test it there and there was no issue and on getting home when I was testing the laptop the screen flicker for some second and went back. I was thinking it was the screen that has issues and I contacted the seller amd he said he has test the laptop himself and he neva notice that and I am sure he will not sell faulty Laptop for me

I gave it to computer guys they told me my hard disk needs formatting after that the fault was still there I was told to buy a new hard disk which I did and it worked only for a week and display the same error code with blue screen. They reformatted the disk, after two months now the same problem has resurfaced but this time the disk has refused to be formatted. Now I have two hard disk which are now faulty what is actually the fault of the system? Please kindly assist. Thanks

This problem looks weird! Two hard drives cannot just go bad in quick succession. I believe something is fishy or there is something the engineers you are using are not telling you. I will advice you try another engineer. if you are in Lagos, contact me on 08164685979

Connect an external hard drive( containing your applications) to your computer through USB. then install with a click

Just remove the battery and disconnect the charger,then press down the power button down for about 30sec to 1min.Then put the battery back

if it tells you it needs to be repaired, you'll either find a repair button or insert a windows 10 installation disc, boot from cd drive and choose repair my Computer
