When I take a close look at the story of Jesus and how he was seen as a Rebel to the laws of Yahweh and his puppets, it is not hard to see a dude who didn't care about the weekly rituals we see today in churches. He did not only promote self love and self empowerment, he actually showed the people the secret to his God abilities. He made he let them know that only their believe(in themselves) can solve their problem. He wasn't about worshiping a God but showing good example like; The Good Samaritan. The Samaritans were seen as enemies to the Jew and we know that such people were the ones Yahweh would have asked them to destroy, but the story said Jesus felt they could get along just fine Lets imagine Jesus being there when Yahweh commanded the killing of the people of Jericho. Would he have supported the killing? No he wouldn't. Or lets say the phrase "suffer not the witch to live",would have been totally different, going to war and raping innocent women would have been a no no unlike Yahweh liked it. This got me thinking....... The Pharisees were careful students of the Jewish law. They always wanted to obey the law. Perhaps they remembered what God had done, years before. He had punished people who did not obey the law. He allowed their enemies to defeat them. So the Pharisees wanted to obey the agreement that God had made with his people. They would even die for the law. They trusted God to bring them to the resurrection. Their religion was really about behaviour. Their law had hundreds of rules about the way to live. The rules were very strict. Same applies to the pastors today. The fear of God is all they preach every week to keep their sheep in line just as the Pharisees of old did. Pay tithes or else god will be angry are old fashion rules that are radical. Can we really say a guy who stopped a woman from being stoned to death would throw her into a lake of fire? That's not possible! But the bible shouldn't be taken literally While somethings using the term"god" to the people around him(otherwise he would have been stoned to death earlier) he gave hidden messages that were all about Love.LOVE indeed is the key to unlocking the true God in us and giving to the less privilege is giving to God,not the offering box. At the of his journey, just like it can happen to any Atheist, the people voted they crucified him rather than the thief because he spoke against their god. He was killed because he was against the same laws the christians follow today. 4 Likes 1 Share |

JESUS WAS NOT A CHRISTIAN..... HEY FUNNY BRO HOW come you omitted these: That Jesus actually attended synagogue and they pushed him out Jesus actually never spoke against the synagogue but against corrupt pharisees Jesus healed the sick and did miracles in the name OF THE SAME GOD the pharisees and Sadducee were talking of. Jesus spoke of God as a Father and of his GREAT LOVE. YET your darkened mind can dare to allocate the title ATHEIST anywhere near JESUS.... my guy simply shut your trap. You do not know enough to even hiss on this matter. JESUS BROKE ONLY THE SELFISH RELIGIOUS LAWS AND TOTALLY EXPLAINED WHY THE MOSES LAWS HAD TO BE STOPPED BECAUSE GOD GAVE MOSES THE LAWS DUE TO THE PEOPLE'S WICKEDNESS. ifenes: 4 Likes |

He made he let them know that only their believe(in themselves) can solve their problem. He wasn't about worshiping a God but showing good exampleAgain I will state the 2 greatest commandments Jesus gave to us his followers. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” |

tripplephi: I could attend a church service if I want. But you must understand that it was a taboo then not to go to the synagogue. In fact the sabbath day was criticised by Jesus. It's like being an atheist student of Convenant University in Nigeria. You will got to their Christian services but know in your heart that it isn't necessary. He had to obey the laws of the land. " Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar or give to god what belongs to god" didn't mean he condoled it but that in a time when people get put to death for going against that. He helped people heal themselves by helping them activate their hidden powers. He said what he did you can do better, didn't he say that? Stop being emotional! 8 Likes 2 Shares |

I see some flaws lie side by side with some truth. 1, Atheist by definition = No. Jesus believed in God. 2, Jesus simply challenged the norms. He tried letting people see that doing good trumps all laws. By good, I mean doing something that brings joy and all. 3, Jesus spoke in the synagogue, and here there was a difference, he spoke with power because he knew what he was saying. The Pharisees know not who they served. They read about God, having gained knowledge about Him, but couldn't recognize Him right before their eyes. There are so many things to say but I've to stop here |

tripplephi:Correction my dear friend. Jesus never mentioned Yahweh by name as his god and father. In fact, when the council of Nicea voted and crowded Jesus as the son of God in 324 CE, they also had to take another vote to determine which particular god Jesus would be the son of. In fact, several council participants were were beaten , bullied and expelled from the council for voting against the deification of Jesus and the selection of the schizophrenic Yahweh as the god of the Christian faith. I bet you didn't know that. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

ifenes:Jesus of 2000 years ago didn't exist. Faulkin(Zeusus) of millions of years ago was the one who existed. The lifestyle of that particular Zeusus was what some writers and Eusebius adulterated and pepped up to form the story of the present Jesus. DOCTUFOS: Lishius 6: 6-13. plaetton:funny you should mention that... but you forgot 2 little things 1. The bible translations changed the names of God in to “lord" and “God"... 2. Jesus was raised Jewish and the Jews consider it a big insult/abomination to call the name of God.. they however, are allowed to call him Hashem which literally means “the name"... so if you're looking for a verse where Jesus called the name of God, then you're going on a wild goose chase In fact, when the council of Nicea voted and crowded Jesus as the son of God in 324 CE, they also had to take another vote to determine which particular god Jesus would be the son of. i highly doubt this... i need proofs... the only harassment concerning the nicea issue i know of is to few church fathers and the harassment was not based on which God Jesus would be the son of... it was based on the people's(those particular church fathers) view on the divinity of Christ.. the reason for nicea was to conclude on the divinity of Christ, Virgin birth etc.. and the view that one was the one that Christ is equal with God. hahn: My point is, Jesus being real or fake is not the issue. The messenger/ teacher shouldn't be the focus, but the message. The message is all about being fully human, being fully enhanced for us to activate our full human abilities. The story of Jesus, Esu, Sango, Buddah are to help human see that it is possible to be complete humans. I compare it to an atheist who experiment and try Inge out rather wait for gods. 5 Likes 1 Share |

hahn: You are right. People generally want a strong leader/ character to follow, hence Jesus was created for them. Positive morals and teachings like " love your neighbour as yourself", " do to others what you want them to do to you" were added to negative ones like "Tithes", " Sun - day" worship, "touch not my annoying" and other irrelevant doctrines... The poor are usually the targets. To keep them from murdering the rich they are being manipulated with " the meek shall inherit the earth" kind of teachings. The poor are the ones you often see defending religion to death. How many rich Muslims has ever been suicide bomber? Probably none. 6 Likes 1 Share |

There's nothing to be Atheist about in Christ Jesus. He Knows He's God and further summarizes The Law by asking us to love ourselves as He loves us. 1 Like |

ROMANS 1: 18. For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. 20. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal Power and GodHead; so that they are without excuse: 21. Because that, when they knew God, they glorify Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 28. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 30. Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31. Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32. Who, knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. |
