I was temporarily confused on what reply to give her.

If I should accept her request, Joke will surely felt that I rejected her request because of her disability and If I didn't they might both think of me as a snub and thats the last thing I want.

I walked back to them and gave Joke a peck and told her that she shouldn't worry. I promise to pay her another visit the following week.

"so you still need to see my WAEC result before you can tell me your name?" I asked the younger sister with a smarmy smile.

"Nike, pls am sorry for not telling you ealier." She replied.

"what a beautiful name you've got there...Ok. Have got to go."

I gave them both a smile and left without saying anything else.

I think what I did by turning both of them down is the best for now. Although, I had other plans for Nike. I just can't seem to get my mind off her sexy body. I was very determined to get her without hurting her sister's feelings in the process.

On my way home, I dropped at a T-junction close to my house. I paid off the bike man, and headed in the direction of a big viewing center.


It was Chelsea vs Tothenham match, F.a cup semi final. Arsenal vs Mancity match have been played earlier in the day with Arsenal booking their place in the final with a 3-2 win.

The center was already full to the brim when I stepped inside. I was lucky to locate a space beside two lovebirds after paying the viewing fee to the owner.

I sat down beside the lady and focused my attention on the screen while awaiting the kick-off.

Soon enough, the match commenced. It started with Hazard having a hard time getting past Walker, but trust my guy na, he always find a way, even if you like arrange your defence like bokoharam, he will still break through.

Apparently, despite all the chances Hazard managed to create, it was unfortunate that Diego Costa has decided to be wasteful in front of goal. I still don't know why we can't sell that age cheater to China in exchange for Tecno phones.

He cost us the first half as Tothenham went to the break with a 2-0 scoreline lead. I was sweating very profusely, because all the haters have started whyning comfortness out of me. I was known as a big mouthed chelsea fan in the whole area.

2nd half kickstarted with Chelsea spoiling the tickets of those that played halftime substitution as Conte substituted Diego costa for Whycee aka BATSHUAYI and Matic for Fabregas.

Within 3mins, the subs have started making impact. They brought an obvious change into the tempo of the game and It wasn't until Hazard won us a penalty that I realise that the beautiful lady beside me is also a Chelsea die-hard fan while her boyfriend is a fan of a certain team that haven't won Epl for the past twenty six years.

I jumped up and the lady followed suit and unexpectedly gave me a very tight hug. I was shocked to the bone. We were like that for 5secs before I saw her boyfriends eyes. He doesn't seem to care and I received another round of hug from the lady as Hazard brilliantly played the spot kick past Hugo lloris thereby taking the scoreline to 2-1.


As the excitement died down a gradually, the lady leaned over and whispered to my ears.

"I can give you more than just a hug....if Chelsea wins."

Luck must be doing promo on that day, or what rational explanation can clarify that above statement?

My eyes nearly ran out of their sockets at the completion of her statement. She shot me a wide grin and focused back on her boyfriend.

70mins gone, and still no goal. All hope seems to be lost when Garry Cahil made a wrong back pass to the goal keeper and the ball went straight to the path of Hue min Son who was through on a 1 on 1 situation with Coutois and he perfectly slotted the ball past the approaching Keeper hence taking the scores to 3-1 in favour of Tothenham.

The only thing protecting Gary Cahil from getting killed by a direct thunder from Shango at that moment was the T.v screen.

I felt like crying. All hopes of me getting intimate with this beautiful girl has been thrown away by this stewpid Cahill.

"ah!" I lamented frustatingly.

I instantly lost all interest in the match as I buried my head in between my laps.

"YES! Chelsea don die!" That loud statement that came from the lady's boyfriend made me raise my gaze at the screen and what I saw was enough to make any addicted fan head towards the nearest ocean.

Victor Moses was being stretched off at 78mins.

I just hissed and returned my head to where it was before.

I felt a gentle tap on my left shoulder and I looked up only to see the lady secretly handing me her phone which has a message on it that reads;
'don't worry, d offer still stands if Chelsea gets a draw.'

I just replied her with a smile and that gave me enough strenght to get my attention back on the screen.

80mins, 81, 82, 83, Chelsea were really playing with a very high tempo now. Hazard trying to drive in from every angle.

But then the Unthinkable and Unexpected happenend.

We were all so caught up in the high tempo in which the match was going and that was what made us oblivious of what was happening at the entrance of the viewing center.

It was the sound of a gun shot that came from the entrance that diverted our attention to the entrance.

The owner of the viewing center have just been shot and immediately after he landed on the floor, 3 heavily built guys entered the center with pistols in there hands. They began to shoot into the air and everybody reasoned with one mind that, those shootings meant they wanted us to vacate the premises instantly.

Just like you guess, I was the first to get out and immediately I stepped outside, I took off my shoes and ran as fast as my legs could carry me. I was panting and shouting 'shango ooo, lukoso ooo' as I ran very fast away.

I got to a quiet area and stopped around a corner. I bent down and was still trying to catch my breath when someone suddenly bumped into me from behind.

Frightened and startled at the same time, I screamed 'Shangoooooo!!' and turned around only to be met with the sight of the lady that was sitting beside me at the viewing center also panting heavily.

"am so..rr..ry..I..I didn't
mean to...to scare you." She stammered with a strained expression.

"its okay..." I took a quick glanced around, hoping to see her boyfriend, but after looking in all directions and couldn't catch a glimpse of him. "where is your boyfriend?" I asked curiously.

"I think they got him." She replied, now standing upright to face me. I can see fear in her hazel eyes.

"what? Who got him?"

"the guys that came with guns..they got him."

"how come? Why didn't he run away when everybody was running?" I queried.

"I think he was the target. They didn't allow him to get out. I waited for him to come out but when I didn't see him, I decided to run after you." She replied and moved closer to me. "pls take me away from here. I beg of you." She pleaded politely.

I will be the latest fool in town to turn down such a humble request. But there's still need for carefulness.

"don't you live around here?" I asked.

"no..no. Am here on a visit. Pls lets go to your place." She pleaded again.

"ok. But hope I won't later regret this?".

"no..no.. I promise you won't regret. I will make it up to you, just take me out of here."

It was getting dark already, so I grabbed her hand and headed towards my residence.

Throughout the walk home with this beautiful lady, I can't help but smile at the kind of luck am having today.

We got home at exactly 8:45pm. I met everybody's absence.

I checked under the footmat, and got the keys to open my door.

We got inside, and she requested to use the toilet. I led her to the entrance and return to the room.

There was light so I switched on the fan and reclined on the bed. I checked my phone and saw thirteen missed calls on it. 3 from Jide, 4 from an unsaved number, and 6 from Joke.

I decided to call Joke first. I dialed her number and she picked at the second ring. "hello".

"hi, thank Gawd. You've got me so worried." She said sounding very excited.

"am sorry, just that something unexpected came up after I left your place."

"what?..hope its not something bad?" She said with a concerned voice.

"well, it almost got bad, but thank Shan.. I mean thank Gawd, I excaped unscathed." I narrated everything that happened to her, leaving out the part where I came home with a strange lady and she was really happy I got home safely.

"you know, thats why its necessary for me to know your place, even if I don't come, my sister can....." I didn't let her finish before I interrupted her.

"and what happened today is also the reason why I can't allow you guys to come. Its very dangerous."

After a lot of arguement, she succeded in convincing me to allow her sister visit me. Okay, I can't pretend am not happy with it but I still need to put up some stunts myself.

We said our goodbyes and ended the call.

I dialed Jide's number and he picked at the third ring.

"hello..guy..how na?"

"Darous, I don dey call you since." He stated hurriedly.

"guy, calm down, you dey chop hot yam?..where you dey?"

"me? I don comot for area o. You no hear wetin happen for viewing center ni?"

"I hear ke? I was there live like supersport." I answered.

"what? Are you ok? Are you hurt?"

"no dude. Am alright."

"rumour has it that they are cult members...That they came for a guy at the viewing center."

"yes..I...I think I heard...I get gist for you on that sha."

"ok. Later. Bye. Be safe bro."

"you too bro." With that, we ended the call and I was about dialing the unknown number when the lady walked back in.

She was claded only in pants and bra. Her hair was wet, which only meant she've showered. I couldn't stop staring at her very damn sexy body and my konji have started doing somehow.

I did the sign of cross and mumbled quietly...'oh gawd of shango, thanks for the wonderful opportunity you've provided your son.'
