I have talked enough about MRI scans in past posts what MRI does is tell you the age range you cannot be not what age you are.

Using wide aggregate parameters to make an absolute deduction on what age range you cannot be.

That's why a Nigerian boy born in the USA where you know there is automatic data capture of births failed in Nigeria an MRI scan for U17 Eaglets.

Chukwudi I can talk about because he was my friends senior in secondary school who finished in 1999, do the mathematical probability and you see he was way above it.

But how can we ask that question we are Nigerians we sharp we always find ways.

MRI scan is precise on screening out old players due to its ability of detecting fusion in the bones which occurs after a player turns Seventeen. However, some kids bones fuses before they turn 17.

So an overage (over Seventeen) player can hardly beat the scan but a player younger than Seventeen can fail the test.

I would really love to see d eagles play, and see d new boys in action especially ebuehi because its d defence DAT we really HV issues with, I also pray d likes of ndidi and onazi will b able to hold their own in d midfield today against d physical and robust Senegalese midfield. The absence of Mikel there makes me feel jittery because whether we like it or not Mikel gives d team balance. all in all wish d eagles success in tonight encounter.

I LOVED the idea.. We are divided in this.
I am still of the opinion that we will do better with a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2.
Omeruo starting ahead of Ebuehi somehow supports my thinking.

But let's not rule the latter off too prematurely.

Nigeria lost 1-2 to Senegal in the semis of the 2002 AFCON.

Same thing came to my mind. I think Aghahowa also scored in that game and Idah Peterside was one of the panel of analyst in the NTA studio. We equalized but still lost.

Hmm, I am so happy, after many years I have been waiting patiently for the eagles team to look like this

Looks don't win matches or tournaments give me a bunch of old ugly looking men that can win over youth and model looks.

It's not a catwalk or fashion parade

Good answer. A legitimate under 17 player has a higher chance of failing the test than an overaged player passing it.

No! I no be em agent ooo. grin

Besides, Aluko has raked in more goals and assist than all our attackers.

He has scored 6 goals with 9 assist playing from the wings and he was named the player of the month.

While Victor Moses, Simon Moses, Isaac Success, Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa have not ...... grin

Only Noah Joel has assisted 6 times with a goal.

Do you know the difference tho - all the afore mentioned players are playing in the main event (EPL or equivalent) whereas Aluko is playing in the "Undercard" (Championship). The level of the opposition makes a big difference, bro.

Haha!! I think one of you must be his agent tho.

I mean, it isn't as if Aluko is setting the league on fire either. The dude can barely get playing time at Fulham grin

O pari

Where did you get your barely started a game this season for Fulham from? Aluko is one of the best players in Fulham, if not the best player and you say barely started.

He has started 36 games for Fulham this season.

Aluko is on fire and won the Championship player of the month once this season.

Senegal played one man down for a great part of the game and Wilson Oruma lost a penalty late into second half of extra time to have made it 2-2.

That was the game that sent Oliseh, Finidi, Babangida and some others parking from the national team.

Obsessed with Aluko? grin Not me.

TheGoodJoe is the one obsessed with Aluko.

I am just wondering why he is ignored despite the obvious.

If you be cockroach for village you can't go to the city and become a lion.

Aluko is currently one of the most consistent Nigerian players playing at good level. He chose the championship more opportunities a manager that understands him and vice versa.

He has put in exceptional performances winning player of the month, etc in the championship. In terms of pedigree who is better than him in the entire team

Championship is not beans. It is also challenging. We have seen teams from the Championship like Bournemouth come to the Premier League and cause the big boys problems. What Aluko is doing there is a amazing. Deserves praise and respect.

I gotta confess, I haven't really been following his games this season because the only team I watch in the championship is Newcastle.

but regardless, playing in the championship is a different ball game from playing in the EPL or the equivalent. So you gotta take his achievements with a grain of salt, the level of the opposition matters.

Hmmm.... with Etebo ruled out from starting this is our strongest 10 from that squad in camp.

I would line such a collection thus:

Balogun.. Troost. .Omeruo.. Echiejile

................Ndidi
....................... .Onazi

Musa......... Iwobi........ Simon

................Iheanacho

to be true...I don't see onazi as a good passer of the ball...hence the link between the midfield and attack may be severely affected.. he should take up ndidi's position and let ndidi play the cmf

Thank you my brother. They talk as if it is not the same Aluko that once played for Hull City that go relegated. Upon the relegation the club still released him.

The truth is that the Super Eagles is missing a lot living out Aluko for this long. He is one of our best and proved it for club and country.

Imagine such dynamic quality behind Iheanacho. I hope we call him back to the team soon.
