komekn:get overrun? Was it not this same Ndidi that played for Leicester against Liverpool? Was Mane not in that Liverpool team? Was he or anyone else overrun? Balogun is not technically proficient enough, so who do you suggest we field? This is the best we can field considering what we have, I don't know what you were expecting or what you think Senegal is. They are not the AFCON winners and we will still field a team similar to this against those guys, so just enjoy the game 1 Like |

Senegal clearly the better side after 12 mins. Ndoye has hit the post. This is a very powerful Senegal team make no mistake. They press as a unit. So Eagles finding it hard to play from the back Nigeria finally spring Simon on the left, he bamboozles the full back but his cross was behind Iheanacho. 0-0 17' 2 Likes |

Fabulous pass and move orchestrated by Ogu and Ndidi is wasted by a dreadful attempt of a cross by Musa. He should have done better |

Certainly it is a far more even game now. Senegal have a corner after Simon's attempt at showboating by his corner flag. |

Chance. Ogu and Ndidi free Iheanacho. City striker takes a touch inside the box and drags his shot wide of the far post. Should hit target |

Glorious ball by Ndidi releases Musa in on goal but wide. No one at the far post to meet his cross. Musa is quick! 1 Like |
