I pointed out some pages back that the high point of of Musa' s career with the Eagles remains his two goals against the Argies and some misguided guys were calling for my head, they even went as far as telling me about his exploits in an obscure league like the the Russian league, forgetting the fact that I was specific with my assertions. To those guys quoting me that day, I still repeat it again, Musa's highlight with EAGLES remains his two goals against the Argies. 2 Likes |

Icon4s: The boy is decent but i doubt, he has seen this kind of Jam body African football before. Good, that we have Omeruo who can play Right back. Omeruo might just be the solution. |

chimzyblack: success is right footed so playing him on the left might not work. but if we can, seriously Iwobi is too soft for the African game. with Moses and success in opposite flanks one thing will be sure, chances will be created. but Iwobi is all about playing football in the centre of the pitch and really he should start vying for the cmf position with the other players there but he is not the best LMF we have |

TheSuperNerd: This man. Where u go since? You and TheGoodJoe need to obtain a special copy right license before using that word EXPERIENCE. On Iwobi, he battled a grade A typical west African side. Thank God Rohr played him there in this game. I guess we need to try Etebo or the baba himself, Mikel, against Cameroun. There is always a difference btw the 'borough' brought ups and the 'area' brought ups. Rohr dey even fear to put Ebuehi even though he still had 2 more substitute slots. 2 Likes 1 Share |

pyrex23:would be very difficult to implement a 3-5-2 Who would you suggest would make up the back 3? The midfield 5 could be: Mikel, Ndidi, Ogu, Etebo and Iwobi |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by chimzyblack(m): 11:46pm On Mar 23, 2017 |
safarigirl:To me ndidi seem to have moved slightly above onazi in terms of his all round game. A combination of Ndidi ,Ogu and Mikel with ndidi playing a deep lying DM . will not only be solid but will also have a good impact on our possession game |

Hey... Sir TheGoodJoe.... did I leave the impression that Yara Yara is actually female? *scratches Head* Sir Certitude..... I will do as you have requested. Nice to see you again and well dome to the Super Eagles.... No Mikel, No Moses, No Ikeme, No Ighalo, No Ideye.... yet we held our own against Mane, Kouyate, Gueye, Moussa sow, Biram diouf and the likes.... We are Africa's next emerging force... I have always emphasized this. Certitude: 1 Like |

tbaba1234: as an inverted winger, not as the LMf. we do not use wingers in our current formation and you can't play an inverted LMF, it might work but I doubt if I have seen it before |

pyrex23: as at now I think he actually is, but if we could possibly use a right footed player there it would be better. Iwobi would be better off playing in the middle where all he has to do is make sure the ball is moving |

BascoVanVeli:lol...so because he scored two goals in a match in the world cup, he deserves a constant spot in the team? Even Goetze that scored Germany's winner at the finals is struggling to keep his place in same team. Mba that won us AFCON with his goal hasn't featured for the team in 3 years. So, why should Musa have a permanent spot? Na all this sentimental BS dey make Naija coaches field yeye teams mostly Football is not played with emotions, anybody is expendable, Rohr is not indebted to anybody and neither is Nigeria. The two goals Musa scored na only for am, it did not put Nigeria on any pedestal in world football, it boosted his CV, but e no even affect our FIFA ranking Maybe if he had scored the goal to take us to a World Cup Semi-final, we would keep him in the team till he's ready to leave 2 Likes |

Chaaaiiiiii.... oga mii.... always ever opening up new windows and insights into discussions.... I hail u.... Lemme help the recipient of your question answer.... loolll.... only one.... his name... Ahmed Musa.... lol Hey guys... I still feel Musa is relevant to the Super Eagles oooo.... after all... how was Simon Moses' game today? I think Samuel Kalu at Gent is a better allround player than Simon Moses... yet Musa trumps these two... plsss make una cool am on Musa oooo... he is very much relevant... only Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi and also Isaac Success (if played from the wings and based on what we have seen especially knowing that he is not 100% fit yet produced a masterclass performance) are ahead of him for now.... Henry Onyekuru is another that can challenge Musa's bench spot but until then... it is just these three above who benches Musa for now... BascoVanVeli: |
