When I got home, I sat down on the bed, thinking about all that has happened in the last 24hours.

My strayed mind was brought back to my room by the loud ringing of my phone. I picked it and checked the caller I.d, it was Jide. So I answered it.

"Hello son of thunder....." He said.

"how far na? wetin dey happen?" I sat up properly leaning my head against the wallpaper.

"oh boy, I dey I.B jare, and na there ah go dey till all the wahala for area go chill down."

"chai, see this coward, no be that same area I dey? And you go dey form Goliat for Blessing....that your girlfriend eh..."

"guy that one na Blessing jare. see I get one business for hand, and na only you fit handle am."

Hearing that, my ears are now very attentive.

"hum hmm" I cleared my throat, "what type of business?"

" no be illegal business like the game wey you dey play o.. But this one na sugar mummy stuffs, and I promise you, if you do am wella, you go hit cool money till you die."

This guy surely knows how to get my attention.

"ah guy, this one wey you talk go hard o, make I dey fvck people wey fit born my grandma? And why you no do am yourself, if it is as simple and easy as you claim?" I intentionally throw that question at him, just to know why he was offering me a mansion while he was living in a face me I face you house.

He hesitated a bit before he replied.

"na you sabi. Abeg commot jare". With that, I ended the call and heaved a deep sigh.

I rested my head on the pillow and started playing Dream League soccer on my phone. I was playing the second match of the Elite division when a message buzzed in. I minimized the game and checked the message. It was a sms from Jide. It contains the number and name of the woman.

I saved the number with Beatrice, thats her name.

I dialled the number and I was greeted with the familiar female computer tone that can never be heared on Dangote's phone. Reminding me of how poor I am for not having enough call card. I hissed at the screen and resumed my Dream league game.

I was at it, for almost 30mins before the worms in my stomach started playing their game of survival of the fittest with my intestines.

I will rather die by jumping off an aeroplane than let this worms bite my intestines to pieces.

With that, I rose up and head for the kitchen. I checked the cupboard, only to find it empty. I grumbled and went out to the street to buy recharge card and to get something to eat.

I bought sliced bread and sardine from the next street and came back to mine. Knowing the nature of the type of work am about to do, I decided to buy recharge card of 1k.

I got home and loaded the card. I decided to call Beatrice my new client before I eat, so I dialed her number.

The call was not received at the first trial and I redialed it and it was picked at the nick of the last ring.

"Hello?". A soft voice sounded from the other end.

"Hi" I answered feeling a bit nervous.

"Please who is this?"

I manage to compose myself before I speak.

"am Darous.".

"ok Darous, what can I do for you?"

"actually, am the guy you are meeting this evening." I replied calmly.

"oh!, you are from Jide right?" She stated delightfully.

"Yes. I got ur number from him and he said to call you?"

"ok. I wil Call you around 5. ok?"

"alright Bea..Beatrice". I heared her giggle and the line went dead.

I relaxed on the bed and heaved a sigh of relief. Happy that I just passed the first stage of this business.
