That's why you shouldn't pile it up. I prefer not to let my funds get past a certain level. That way, I might withdraw a little more often than I'd like, but fluctuating rates don't hit me too hard. If I keep money from three months and withdraw at 300/$, meanwhile when I began stockpiling, it was going for 400/$, what have I achieved? If it increases from 400 to 500, it might seem a loss, but we know it's more likely to decrease or stay the same than it is to increase.

I may not be in a position to give you an informed response because I use a Nigerian account for my APP, so wouldn't know if there were repercussions to the use of a US account on your App here in naija. I think someone once state here that after using VPN for a US account for a while, you could afterwards log in on PC with the VPN, and nothing will happen, and I think that could be argued for the app too, but like I said, I don't have an informed knowledge on which I could base my response, because I never tried that on the US account I relegated to go with my present account which is Naija. I do expect others with the experience to chip with their contributions.

I am back now to (hopefully) continue making little contributions that will help in this journey. So if you have any problems concerning this freelancing thing, let's tackle it together to the best of our ability.

Quickly, here are a few tips to stand out when sending buyers request (Almost no one knows these tricks, so if you use 'em you are going to stand out and that counts for a lot):

~ Sell results not skills: Don't say "I have been writing bad ass emails for years now"... Instead say "I just helped a client crank out their autoresponder series and it made them sales" bla bla bla.

It doesn't have to be worded exactly the way I have laid it down here. Just get the idea behind it.

Clients really do not care how experienced you are, they are only interested in your ability to get them results in exchange for the bucks they drop on you. Always. Keep. That. In. Mind.

Add Social proof with testimonials: This is a badass, underground technique that can tip the balance in your favor.

Adding testimonials (from your Fiverr profile) to bids you send is called "social proof". It's a way to tell the client that see, I have done this job before and here is what someone had to say about it.

(don't overdo it, though. And make sure testimonials relates with what you are bidding for).

People like to have things that worked for other people.

But don't just add this and leave it at that. Give them a WHY. Like why you decided to add that testimonial.

So let's say I want to submit a bid for a request on email writing series, I could start like this:

"XXXX was so great. They wrote my emails in a way I fell in love with because it resonated with my audience". That's a recent testimonial from a client whom I just helped crank out an email series for their xxxxx bla bla bla.

You feel me? (if you don't, ask questions)

~ Project authority: When submitting a bid, try to make your client FEEL that you KNOW what you are talking about.

Reading a lot about your industry and gaining knowledge about new trends will help you do this effortlessly.

So if a client wrote something like this:

"I want someone to help me write emails for my autoresponder. I am not sure how many emails will be okay and what pattern to follow, please get back to me"

There's a loophole there i.e the client is not sure how many emails they need to write and load up in their autoresponder. So I will try to plug that loophole with my bid. I could do something like this:

"Hello, I can see that you need a copywriter for your autoresponder series. There's a general consensus that it takes a prospect to see your marketing messages 7 times (on average) to get convinced about what you are offering. Going with that, most marketers use 7 emails and I think this will be perfect for your campaign...................."

Do you think such a proposal will catch the client's attention? The chances are very high.

Like a charm! In December, I created a new Fiverr account (no longer in existence) and raised *** amount in about 22 days with all orders (bar 2) coming from the buyers request. So you should think of trying these out.
