Isn't it obvious?

For casting and binding, of course.

At the end, the officiating pastor burns them and proclaims victory over AMORC! grin

And which of AMORC's affiliated body did he see or hear that? Why didn't he indicate it? Where is the video of an AMORC member comparing holy ghost to a serpent or proclaiming replacing Jesus' picture with a meditating demon?

I don't spend time trying to educate conspiracy theorists.

Holy ghost serpent cheesy cheesy cheesy. Does that even sound logical to you? Why would someone or any group compare anything with a serpent?

Many of these fanatics think AMORC members come together and start plotting against Christianity. Such a silly and egocentric line of thinking. There are many Christians in AMORC, just like there are Muslims, Buddhists, Taoists, etc. Personal religious beliefs are not discussed in any way in AMORC.
i know your frustration with these people. but it is important you put up a clearification so that these people do not have monopoly of the airwaves. if you give them the monopoly of the airwaves, they will shape minds and in the end, you members will begin to doubt themselves.

Run from Amorc and any other Esoteric Organizations.... It's always fun and harmless in the beginning, but later on, you will see their true colour. That their monographs is possessed with demons... Don't open it without binding the demons first. The more you Read it the more Bewitched you are. Read one that compared the Holy spirit to a serpent , replaced the pic of Jesus with a meditating demon.. Even one that said that Jesus was a great occultist. Can you imagine?

so can you tell us how u got to know that it is smooth at the begining, but get dangerous in the end? how isit possible that you are not spreading your fears? care to explain? when you read the monograph, did you ge bewitched? didvyou bother to know what exactly they were saying when they say tat Jesus was an occultist, if they said such a thing at all?

Let me start by pouring in my encomiums at ur choice of diction. I am indeed awed.

I am a Seventh-day Adventist. I know of a convert who later became a clergyman in my denomination. As a way of encouraging and/or instructing members, the "gullible" ones so to speak who may be easily swayed by doctrines, he always spoke about his stint with AMORC. He confessed that he had risen to the order of the seventh Temple prior to his conversion. He always depicted the AMORC as a cult group and remained grateful to God for giving him deliverance.

Your long epistle so far, aimed at demistifying the impression people have about your group runs contrary to the confession of this revered man of God

Dear OP, are you true to ur promis of being sincere and objective with ur answers on this thread, or are u being economical with truth. I think I will go for the latter. I have sufficient reasons to buttress my choice.
not tryin to defend the op and his organization, but i think i have seen more than enough cases where people leave a christian church for the other nd they turn around to claim that the former church is a bad church. i wil try to.check Nairaland to see if i could come up with evidence to back up my claim.

and why do you prefer to go with the later and not the former? i would pike tp know.

I generally avoid any altercation and become the bigger brother. I understand what it's like to be naive and ignorant. I understand the need to hold on to traditional thoughts and cherished religious beliefs so I don't bother myself trying to convince people who suspect me. I let my life speak for itself. One thing I do ask friends who stare fearfully at me upon the realisation that I am in AMORC is whether I have been living a life that is questionable. If they say no, I simply tell them that they should use my actions to judge whether or not AMORC members are truly as many Nigerians depict them to be. This method usually works in allaying fears and the curious ones proceed to ask me questions.

here is another thread where a suposed former member of the healing school at christembassy claiming the miracles are fake.

the point i am trying to pass across is: there will always be those.who.will leave and now turn around to castigate what.they use to be part of. these people are very quick to say they were once members. this is to make anyone to feel they are apeaking from a position of authority, when in fact they are the once that have their own problems.

Thank you for your contribution. This goes to prove that people will say anything to portray other people or groups in a bad light.

In my experience, many people who openly boast of being AMORC members or ex-members are/were not members. Some may have visited the affiliated bodies once, twice or even for a short period but they probably got bored or disappointed and concocted stories. Even real ex-members who left for one or two reasons will not come out and say it except the situation warrants it.

Can one choose to learn just the secular knowledge and not delve into the spiritual aspects of your teachings, I don't like spiritism.

Also, can one exit the group clean without any lingering effect or repercussions either from knowledge gained or from the group (AMORC).

I hope you provide answers to these questions and even further clarifications.

Most people who claim to be long standing members but later left and keep on castigating our Order, don't even know the Rosicrucian Sign and have not attended any Lodge activity before. They don't even know what a Key Number is. Meaning they weren't members of the Order at anytime. They are impostors.

Ask them simple questions about the Order, you will get a blank look.

Too bad.
what is a key number?

I do not know anything about him but those who are interested in AMORC would no doubt benefit from reading what he has to say and then form their own judgment. It is interesting that you choose to attack him without addressing the points he raised.I think that is what would be of interest to potential joiners
Is it the case as he claimed that he was a member for 20 years? If he is "troubled" as you say he is one wonders whether that is a consequence of joining AMORC or why AMORC did not help relieve his "troubles" over 20 years. Calling him names changes nothing!!. What people are interested in is SINCERE responses to his allegations. Dismissing them or maligning him quite frankly is an own goal for AMORC .You are telling us to believe it took him over 20 years to find out AMORC does not give magical wealth. ONe wonders WHY DID HE HAVE THE IMPRESSION THAT AMORC GIVES MAGICAL WEALTH in the first place

again, i am not trying to defend him or his organization, but it is easy for many people to assume that AMORC gives magical wealth especially when we consider how antagonistic the church and christians are to them.

one of the reasons why many people wh are agrieved and.desperate would leave the church and go to the babalawo is because the church, through many of the preaching and prayers, create an impression in the mind of these troubled christians. so these christians go to these babalawo and 'cults' having so much confidence that these people are highly effective. so you can see that by the endless and radical dempnization of groups you dosagree with, you are actually promoting these groups as highly potent groups. you are also adding to their fame.

Yes, you can. There are many scholars in religion, philosophy, the sciences and even the arts, that are members mainly for mundane knowledge rather than spiritual stuff. However you make do with your membership is your own cup of tea. What matters most is that you believe in God, as this is a prerequisite for membership. It ia left to you whether or not to practise anything.

This is a ultimate proof of membership in AMORC. It is a systemized string of numbers given to members upon affiliation with AMORC. Member self-proclaimed AMORC members or ex-members do not even know what this is. They don't even know the system with which it works or how many digits it contains.

That story is a BIG LIE as far as AMORC is concerned. There is nothing to even defend about it. I can count thousands of members whose wives and children are not AMORC members. AMORC doesn't care whether or not you or your wife are members. While it is encouraged that members enroll their family (for the obvious reason of sharing knowledge), no one will emphasise it, let alone threaten you with it.

Some of these people concoct stories to stay relevant. Even if her story were true, the woman may have been misinformed. It certainly wasn't AMORC!

As for your second question, everyone who knows me, church or not, knows I am an AMORC member. I don't write AMORC on my forehead and I certainly don't go about announcing my membership to every tom, dick and harry. However, I am quick to assert my membership if I am asked or if there is a very important need for such.

have you ever seen or heard of a case where the church and its members instigate members of a family against the other member of the same family who is one of you, thereby breaking that home?

If you have seen or heard such a case, then how does your organization handle such cases?

AMORC doesn't handle anything. It is left for the couple to sort out their differences by themselves. There are so many men who have left AMORC because of their wives. That is where their path ends, sadly. There are also many women that left marriages due to their husband's affiliation. Those women are, again sadly, not their "soul mates".

A sanctum is not an obligatory aspect of membership. However, it's recommended for studies. The items you'll find are purely of symbolic value. Mirror for reflection of the inner self and white candles to represent light, purity and knowledge. Every other item people add in their sactums apart from these are purely ornamental and personal.

There are many members without sactums but their studies are very active. There are also some with very elaborate sactums as well. The choice rests on the students. A sanctum is purely a symbolic personal temple for work and worship.

Worship God. We don't have a deity. AMORC is NOT a religion. What we emphasise is the God of our heart and realisation. However a student chooses to interpret that concept is left to him/her.

Like I said, a sanctum is a personal thing. If it doesn't augur well with you as a member, don't set up one. No one ever forces anyone to do anything in AMORC. However you want to be a member is your palaver as long as you live in harmony with universal laws.

Whoever that angers u conquers u.

I have seen people leave AMORC cos they came looking for 2 things; wealth, power to hit back at they feel are their enemies that hinder their progress.

I have equally seen fraters who are receive the Orders teachings and practice what they perceived will be a short cut to get instant result.

Members are at liberty to take the Orders teachings.

The op has done enough justice to this topic. But no matter the amount of light shed on the topic doubts will always be the case of the issue. Some will even feel AMORC has paid the guy for the job. What negative things have not been said about this Order?

AMORC, better experienced than imagined.

I am a Rosicrucian. Currently inactive cos there was a time I couldn't pay for subscription. Once I pay my dues which I look forward to , my monographs will start arriving. It's just like a phone that could no longer browse cos of exhausted sub.

I grew up very poor and became a cult member to alleviate my poverty. Only when I left the cult did I become reasonably secure- but that was because real thinking began to replace the ridiculous magical thinking that ruled me when I was in a cult.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UB0Q6GG

sounds like what the churches do today. They are the ones who promise enormous wealth today, hence the prosperity gospel which is characterized by the sowing of seeds, first fruit, giving of tithe, etc.

I think it is wrong to encourage anyone on a philosophical path, be it religion or enlightenment, so that they could become rich. They will get frustrated in the end and will not get to benefit fully from the riches that lie in philosophy (religion, science, and general enlightenment).

I think in gospel of John chapter 6, the people said to him: "ooooh, this teaching is too hard for us". And he told them "you follow me because of the miracles you see, and the food i gave you to eat". So as far as mastering the art of performing miracles, and the food they ate, they were genuine disciples of Jesus. But that's not what Jesus wants! He knew that the miracles he performed were a product of a higher knowledge of the kingdom which he brought and that this kingdom knowledge is better than the ability to perfom any miracles and food. That's why he said "seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and every other thing will be added on to you".

So he placed it before those people following him in John 6, if they would still want to follow him, or would like to go. And because they were not inspired by the kingdom message, only by the surface miracles which is not the essence of the christian faith, they quickly got frustrated and they left. He didn't even bother to stop them but turned to the apostles and asked them the same question: "and you...do you also want to leave?". And Peter spoke up: "where can we go? You have the word of eternal life". And they followed Jesus while the other ones went home.

Because the apostles followed Jesus because they were inspired by the spiritual things instead of the material like those other ones who left, is the reason why the apostles were the ones who could do "even greater things!".

So you can see that the opening part of your post is the reason why that man or anybody for that matter would abandon the path of illumination either in religion, philosophy, or science.

The most renouned philosophers, scientists, and men of faith, did not set out to be known in that field neither did they seek to becaome rich as a result of their work.

Einstein did not come across the relativity theory because he wanted to be great, for if it were so, he would have become frusrated on the path of philosophical illumination especially when we consider the fact that he did badly in school and his teachers told him he would never amount to anything. But no, because he was inspired on the path of physics by contemplation, consideration etc, was the reason why even after leaving school and he secured what would be a disappointing job, he could still pick up science journal during his spare time at work and read maxwell's work on electromagnetism, from where he discovered the illusionary nature of space and time. He became famous as a result.

So the christian church of today has to take not and realise that using prosperity to attract people to the church may not be a good idea as can be seen from all the things i have said here.

Reflection is purely in symbolic terms. A mirror is a symbol of the man's true reflection, the inner self of man. It is like a conscience, so to say. When a student looks at the mirror, his thoughts are laid bare and conscience takes over.
