I have never provided my number here for any reason, yet I received the same text to forward names of 6 referees, I even called him and he explained. He didn't ask for money yet. I'm still waiting to hear that from him lolzzz
Dude is probably waiting for you to bite the bullet first before striking grin grin
And as for your number, it doesn't have to be on this particular thread... It might even be from a whatsapp group.
Shine your eyes.

Thanks bro. What baffles me is that I have never joined any whatsapp group, not for this navy and not for any job.
I'm still wondering how they got my contact. It might be someone that knows me

That is possible and it is also possible that an "insider" accessed your info to extort you.
The important thing though, is that that person cannot 'navigate' you to training grin grin

I'm sure both of you and probably others who received this particular communication share something in common in addition to your naval aspirations.
I remember something like this was also reported during the last course 23 recruitment.
So, keep calm because we all know it's a scam.

Nope. Please go look for a non-serving senator. If possible look for a dead one.

With all due respect, I don't think this your post (laugh) is needed. I honestly appreciate the advice and tips you and pijay have been giving us here but to come here just to laugh really is not making any sense to me.
I thank God that you were enlisted in your time but know that it was a privilege and God's abundant grace made it happen.
Please continue with your advice Sir and stop the "hehehehenehe" or "hahahahahaha" thing you're doing here. It's beginning to make me lose respect for you.
Thank you.

With all due respect bro, life is too short to be taken too seriously. I'm just trying to defuse tension. And...lose respect for me? I'm not here to feast on anyone's respect. This is a faceless forum. We all respect each other. Laughter is good for the soul.
Navy DSSC job is given to anybody by God alone. So all these worries will not help. If God says your name will be there, nobody can remove it. But if God says no, a thousand godfathers cannot put it there.
The concern now for anyone hoping to make this stage should be making sure that all your papers originals are standing by, and that your medicals is tight. If you wanna increase your chances, you need to work and enter first cage in the race.
I'll definitely be seeing some of you soon. After the screening I hope we can sit at table and laugh away this storm.....like Hehehehehehehehehehehehe

Philadelphiaaaaaaaa hmmnnn, calm down. You're not the only person expecting this list. Tenderlaw's laughter is just to help us relieve our tension(And possibly because he's also recalling when it was their turn awaiting the list). Why don't you be more optimistic, and think more like Emyben(Who's hoping it will be his turn to give advice and, yes, possibly 'laugh' with next year's applicants.) Also wisdom is needed in dealing with our fellow human beings. ARE YOU TRYING TO CHASE HIM AWAY?
I want you to read this, smile, and just take a chill pill. No be today, you and I begin dey apply for NN. Maybe if we take it jejely for once, it will actually go through for us this time. Peace...

Anybody claiming interest in wanting to help you wants something from you. Or why did they pick you out of all the thousands of names? Then again, if the person really has access to the list, your details are all there; he doesn't need you to send it.
For clarity, NO OFFICER WILL ASK YOU FOR MONEY TO JOIN NN. Anybody who pays anyone for that purpose has just given his money away to charity. It's as simple as that.

Chairman you're arrogant, wrong and rude. You attack people with no justification. I see no reason why only you on this thread is picking an offence because they laughed.
If I may ask, is it by force to share any information here? Did you pay their transport to this thread? If they had chose to laugh from the beginning of this thread to the end how does it concern you
Your respect for them neither add nor deduct any of their ranks okay? If you like withdraw all the respect.
In fact, go and beat them na

Some time ago someone called me and said he was a commodore...that my name was about to be exchanged but he wanted to help me. I made some enquiries and what I was told is what I have written above in caps. So, you're right. Some of it is memory, some just to relieve the stress. Make we all chilax. List will come "soon". Hope it meets us all prepared.

Good morning Sir, haven't collected my original degree certificate, hope using statement would be accepted?

grin grin Funny exchanges... Some people are just hoping on hope only and killing themselves with anxiety.
Seeing how limited spaces are on NN DSSC, how many people waiting anxiously for the list can confidently in their hearts say they'll score 90% and above in the last exams to qualify based on merit? Yes. there's room for miracle, grace etc but i believe God is a fair God.
My point is, relax, keep calm and ease your mind from the expectation because although there's a chance your name will come out, there's even a bigger chance it will not be included and then when that happens, what?
Be optimistic but don't stress it out.
If you don't like frank talk, time will teach you! #NoSentiments

SIR, it's the "soon" we want to know of. Are we still using NNSS Ojo? Will it still be immediately after school vacation?

Firstly NNS Akaso is a ship that trains ratings (recruits). It's way different from NNC where officers are made.

Cutting hair is compulsory in any military formation. The standard is baby nyash. (very smooth skin cut)
