nadalion: GTB is ready for bizz, let CBN do the needful now that the sentiment favours the naira. If they can sell dollar for 197 to pilgrims, why not to business? This our country sef, nobody should be mixing religion with business. |

nadalion: There is nothing like gtb doinf anniversary dollar sales, dollar at gtb as at today is stil 320naira,alixpress approxiamation of naira to dollar is never correct. Na your bank alert you go see say na 320 dem commot, Clients wanting to order goods from us would start giving us headache now that dollar has reduced, please and please dollar na still 320 gtb, acess bank 325 But i would be very glad thou,if gtb dollar rates crash to 315 ooo. Anyone else confirmed this yet? Thank you 2 Likes |

princetom1: There are certain level of needs for dollar sales,nd certain level of restrictions, the reason why they cant still sell dollar at a lower price to us or remove d restictions is cos dey bliv we are using it for import which is a harm to the country's economy, those who need it for education, health and pilgrimage ahv no restrictions, but befor they get the dollar sef,dey av to provide proof upon proof, and its not like they giv them dolla physically, the bank transfers d dollar to the appropraite quaters. |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by princetom1(m): 9:55am On Mar 29, 2017 |
noobody: I quite understand this and the 100 limit has take care of this but then, how do u explain pilgrims getting for 197 and businesses getting for far higher? Which one should be paramount, the one that contributes to the growth of the economy and the one that does'nt? If dollar prices reduce, it's the masses that feels the good impact. Every oda thing makes no real sense unless someone wanna explain how pilgrim contribute to the economy to me. Time and time again, the best way of curbing something is providing a better alternative. Not cutting it down, while u have access to it and make d masses suffer for it. The likes of innoson and erisko food are samples, they are struggling |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by noobody(m): 10:00am On Mar 29, 2017 |
@nadallion you cant be charged 323 ooo, dont giv me heart attack oo,which account i wan put the loss of 3 naira na,what the bank does after dey debit you for intl transaction is that they take almost double of what you brought, but you would see d bal in youe ledgrr bal, after sum hours or a day,it would be reverted,so that 323 nor be true, chk ur acc bal tmrw again,u wud see its 320. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by noobody(m): 10:07am On Mar 29, 2017 |
princetom1: Did you mean to say business getting far lower? Pilgrimage is very much important, more than you think bro,i really dont wan to go into indepth details, but remb when pilgrims go abroad, dey cant spend nigerja naira, dey need d dollar to spend and convert overseas, But for business, the economy they bliv would be affected if they allow such business to get such large amouth of dollars, spend it overseas,it would really affect economy negatively,it is a plus to whatever country dey are spendinf and a would leave a negative imapct on ours, Nd i dont think pilgrims hav unlimited acess to forex as you think, the amout pilgrims would need cant be compared to what the likes of erisco and innoson would deman for, those business guys drmand for dollars in billions mehn |

Dam5reey:Impressive, but it will be higher with a custom ROM. MIUI is an aggressive skin, with a heavy UI. http://en.miui.com/thread-491794-1-1.html |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by princetom1(m): 10:32am On Mar 29, 2017 |
noobody: Let's not mix this up. The likes of erisko and Co don't spend this money abroad to get things that are of no importance to Nigeria. Erisko threatened to leave Nigeria the oda time bcoz it can't get dollar to buy especially machinery they need. When am referring to buying in my earlier post, I mean to mention manufacturers that are crying out daily to access fund. The best these people are getting is around 360 and pilgrims at 197? Why? I maintained that pilgrim add no value to the economy. All these shouldn't have even be an argument if Nigeria is functioning, after all buhari himself takes treatment abroad and his children shool abroad too wen he is promoting local content with mouth only. There is God |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by noobody(m): 10:40am On Mar 29, 2017 |
princetom1: Then you dont know private firms at all, they are never straight forward,a firm might tell cbn it needs 100k dollars, would spend just 30k and hoard the rest, them sef sabi,i am not in favour of them not having acess to forex oo,but pilgrims add value to the nigerian economy more than you can imagine.why do you think states own pilgrim boards,if it were that less relevant, they wud pay it no mind |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by princetom1(m): 10:52am On Mar 29, 2017 |
noobody: From my point of view, it's just sentimental, since it's an easy tool for politicians to get cheap scores. If pilgrim is that useful, let's invest all our dollar in it, do that we can see our economy turn around. When will they start selling dollar at same price to genuine businesses that adds value to the economy? I rest my case. Peace 1 Like |
