Mickael2: How can you say one of the most consistent strikers in football is overrated? What is your idea of overrated. Season after season, Aguero scores consistently and scores special goals. Yet You say he is overrated. 2 Likes |

enomakos: U understand. Coming from an experienced analyst. Hahaha. That guy thinks football is arithmetics. like: A is greater than B and B is greater than C. Therefore A is greater than C. In football A can be greater than B and B greater than C But C is greater than A. This has played out severally. 1 Like |

Humility017: I do not get it. I wish Mickael2 can tell me how Aguero is overrated. It seems performing consistently at a high level equals to overrating because that is the crime I see Aguero committed. Even in the last two months in club football. Aguero remains one of the top performing players. Yet he keeps hammering Aguero is overrated. |

Humility017: English football is influenced unfairly by non football variables to a large extent. Protectionism means players can be protected from better players taking thier position. Most club football recruitment directors are looking for the best players with the best deal for themselves not necessarily the club. Which takes priority the best deal or the best player is open to debate. However, this means that there are quality players who have been overlooked or side stepped to make way for thier preferred players. This is an opportunity to get players before they become big news. I have watched Onyedinma it's quite surprising he is still playing for League 1 Millwall. He started playing first team at 17 in the championship. Onyedinma was being pursued by Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool when he was 16. Somehow politics has taken over. Unlike Tyrone this guy can cope with any kind of physicality Cameroon will throw at us. But needs to be capped asap I predict a premiership club will be making moves for him soon. This guy is considerably better than Lookman. It's for the Nigeria official to be proactive in getting those players who are very good quality but not recognised and or unfairly treated. In a sense thier loss our gain, we should be discovering them before they are discovered by the big English clubs. 1 Like |

I have study the English team closely and discovered that...exceptional players get capped before they clock 23.... and as a British with an African lineage...you have to be exceptional to cement your place in the 3 lions squad... 2 Likes 1 Share |

I understand Odeh is being offered to Genk. 13 goals in 12 games in a tough terrain like ours is not a joke. By my calculation, he's the most inform Nigerian player alive this calendar year. I stand to be corrected. 1 Like |

lol if football were mathematics. What's the guarantee we can beat Guinea? We havn't even played them. As a matter of fact it's better to lose friendlies and correct your flaws before the qualifiers, then win friendlies and become complacent. jerrythafinisher: |

tbaba1234: This comment doesn't sit well with me. You don't scout a football player and judge such a player with just one game. Saying Rohr will be around to watch an Mfm game and run the rule on Odeh is not standard practice to scout a player anywhere in the world. Will Rohr scout a player and judge him with one game if he was in charge of the German national team? To truly scout in the real sense of scouting, a player should be watched at least within a time frame of 3 months with over 15 games of data to compute. Some clubs go as far as scouting a player over a 2 year period but with national team football 3-4 months is enough. It takes hardwork, dedication and perseverance to scout a player. Most times the players scouted is not even aware he's been assessed. If Rohr is coming just to watch a game which features Odeh to run the rule as you call it, is nothing but cosmetics. 1 Like |

he concentrate on a few, we go complain, he dey try give as many chance to compete, we go complain. Personally I think he can use some home based to prosecute AFCON qualifiers if they are good enough. Player rotation nko. Kakamorufu: |

Actually Sir Icon79..... Twin moniker to the Lord Analyst and Arch Guardian elite... Chief Icon4s.... I have to say that I believe Dele Alli will rake in many caps for England as even right now, He stands heads and shoulders above all English Midfielders in the CM and AM roles... #fact... England may discover another gem in five years or three but for now... Dele is irreplaceable for England... Icon79: |

goldfish80: Rohr mentioned that he had received reports from the indigenous coaches who have been tasked to monitor the local scene. He is coming with the specific agenda to look at players shortlisted by the local coaches. Sometimes, in the professional game, you have only one shot to impress. If an Arsenal scout for instance comes to watch a game in Nigeria and a player fails to impress, he will not be considered even if he just had a bad game. If a club is monitoring a player for two years, 1. He caught the eye with a first good impression. 2. A decision was then made to keep close tabs on him. However, this is not the case here. Rohr already has reviews of the player and wants to have a closer look. |
