Too many of us have been going on about locodemy taking a hit since FCMB declared 10kobo dividend as though it is a thing of pleasure to see a brother stumble. Agreed he didn't go about FCMB in the best way he should have. Yes, some newbies may have also joined the train and may hv bn affected negatively too (which is rather unfortunate). But let's understand that there's no real winner in all of these events in the end. Loco, kindly reconsider your approach and don't be too loud about your business. Your contributions must have helped some. And always include a caveat to avoid inexperienced newbies blaming you for their trading decisions influenced by you. Remember, every loss is only on paper until further notice. Let's rather make this platform more edifying and be our brother's keepers. All these mockery we make of each other is not dignifying. No need for personal attacks and unhealthy rivalry. Thanks to all those who have been striving to be of help on here. *No FCMB in my portfolio by the way Peace! 4 Likes |

Shareholders of African Prudential Registrar, APR, have approved the payment of N600 million gross dividend, which translates to N0.30 per ordinary share of 50 kobo each for the year ended December 31, 2016. The shareholders also passed the resolution to change the name of the company to ‘Africa Prudential Plc’ In his address at the company’s 4th Annual General Meeting, AGM, in Lagos, Mr. Peter Ashade, Managing Director/ CEO, APR, explained that the change of name is a strategic decision to enable the company broaden the scope of its business. He noted that the Memorandum & Articles of Association of the company, the Company Seal and other corporate documents would be amended to reflect the change of name. He added that once the change of name is perfected at the Corporate Affairs Commission, and all relevant constituted authorities duly notified, the company would roll out implementation of the new name on her brand identity and across its branch networks. |

Good day all the gurus in the house. I have followed silently for some time now and still been held back by some fears. I need help on the following to start trading: 1. Which broker's online platform is topping the chat for now in terms of overall rating and not just low brokerage fee? 2. Will an initial capital of N50k be a good sum to start with? 3. What resources would u recommend for a qucik grasp of the basics to be fully equipped for trading. Thanks for ur quick responses. |

BullBearMkt: I understand @Intendy's 52 Wk High & Low posts, just needed to add that an investor who claims to have sold/buy above/below @Intendy's 52 Wk High & Low respectively would not be seen as a liar. We are educating ourselves. |

BullBearMkt: By this prayer FCMB will return more than 100% before end of July 2017. Everyone should mark this post. God loves those who remember Him and humble themselves. @Loco, do not sell a single unit of FCMB if not for issues too pressing. Relax, learn more, pray more and your testimony will be given by others this year. You will feel like you are dreaming when we start talking about your blessings... Note that NOTHING DO FCMB. They only disapointed in what they allowed you to take out of the barn, not that the barn is rotten or empty. You will see REAL EMPTY BARNS ELSEWHERE soon.... I am personally buying more if God helps me and drop it back to N1.00. I was here before last year from N0.68 straight to over N1.71 1 Like |

Oga Loco, dividend when the real capital is vapourising. Averaging down is a dangerous thing. We are all here on this platform to learn from one another. What happened to the bank that its fortunes has changed like this. Top is bad management. The guy that drove the bank to this level is being rewarded by higher assignment. There should not be sentiment when investing in this market. I can not average down in a company that is on life support. We will await the investors conference call and see the key companies they are badly exposed to. Has capital oil repaid its loans? locodemy: 1 Like |

Even as at now i am still making profit in fcmb not to talk of the 10kobo dividend.100% profit and above is my goal. |

Oando and Fcmb are definitely in the same league... Always looking for who to scam... THE ELEPHANT may be slow but there is always a tiny way of making profits with both OANDO, FCMB & THE ELEPHANT... I don't care about any stock, all my care is about THE CASH... When you suddenly see a stock being defended, it simply means RUN as fast as you can! THE BIG SMART GUY |
