Fibonacci2526, grandmufti, gptech, and those i couldn't mention, thanks a million.
I did the hardware test as suggested and realised that the led is working but the stupid screen i used blocked it. How? The screen was mirrored! Put gum on the wrong side of the screen, little wonder the screen didn't align.

You own better na! My own na the fake casing block the led. I had to a clean install thinking it was the rom.

Im yet to receive my Screen protector and Case for Mi5, Got One at Ikeja N500, its manageable

All I do before buying is Check other reviews... rating and number of orders.
