He arranged for her to be locked up for an Instagram post!!! She didn't dupe him, didn't steal from him, didn't burgle his house, but posted something about him on Instagram!!! is that one a pastor or Saddam Hussein? From this "pastors" reaction to Kemi's Instagram post, we can deduce that kemi was probably telling the truth.
Then allow her prove her innocence in court. She should come with all the evidence she has,and nail the man once and for all. Good evening

Every true christians should know that forgiveness is a vital and unnegotiable virtue we must possess and express at all time no matter the circumstance we may find ourselves in.

Mark 11:25-26 says

25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 5:23-24

l23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

The above Scriptures were the exact words of Our Lord Jesus Christ on the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation. The Master said even if we are praying and remember we have not forgiven someone who offended us, that we should forgive such person immidately so we also can be forgiven by the Father. He also said if we brought gift(s) to the Father and remembered we have an unsettle matter with someone, He said we should drop the gift(s) at the alter, go and make peace with such person first before returning to offer the gift(s).

Our Lord Jesus Christ categorically told His disciples that they shall suffer persecution just like Him

Hear Him

John 15:20

Remember the word that I
said unto you, The servant is
not greater than his lord. If
they have persecuted me,
they will also persecute you;
if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

I want us to note that the persecution mentioned above wasn't referring to having large congregations that pays huge tithes and offerrings, living a luxury life with fleets of exotic cars and private jets. Neither was He referring to your church members singing your praise but it includes Kemi Olunloyo accusing Pastor David Ibiyeomie of having a side chic called Actress Iyabo Ojo etc.

No matter the level of persecution we may face, we were already told to forgive our adversary. It is not in our nature as christians to arrest and prosecute anyone no matter what they did to us rather the Bible said in

1 Peter 2:12

Live such good lives among
the pagans that, though they
accuse you of doing wrong,
they may see your good
deeds and glorify God on the
day he visits us.

Forgiveness is the key and forgiveness is the way to everlasting salvation. Our Lord Jesus Christ forgave and prayed for those who crucified Him. Stephen before he gave up the ghost, also forgave and prayed for those who stoned him to death.

James 1:2 said

Consider it pure joy, my
brothers and sisters,
whenever you face trials of
many kinds,

Acts 5:41

The apostles left the
Sanhedrin, rejoicing because
they had been counted
worthy of suffering disgrace
for the Name.

CONCLUSION.

If you know Pastor David Ibiyeomie, help me tell him that he MUST FORGIVE, RECONCILE WITH KEMI OLUNLOYO AND MAKE SURE SHE IS HAPPY OR ELSE GOD WILL NOT FORGIVE HIM FOR ARRESTING AND IMPRISONING KEMI OLUNLOYO. HE MUST DO IT FOR HIS OWN GOOD.

You are not God. Our God is a God of justice, law and order. Pastor ibiyeomie can forgive her, but he must not stop the law from taking its course.

When the likes of freeze, kemi, Otobo and others peddle falsehood do you open threads to stop them, or did you give support to the claims by being in different?

The reason why this thread is on the front page is not because of what you wrote, but because Seun and nairaland admin, hate the church and wants to ridicule the church with posts that diminishes the church.

Do you speak out when people post lies and evil?

What ever you allow on earth, is allowed in heaven so says the scriptures.

Pastor David has forgiven her, but the law must be made effective.

Ecclesiastes 8:11 (KJV) Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

Come let us reason together, though your sins be as dark as scarlet, i'll make you to be as white as snow. Kemi has to come 1st. You don't forgive someone who has not acknowledged her wrong! Thats pride, she has a reprobate mind. As long as she can't see anything wrong in what she's doing then there's no place for forgiveness. You people should not misinterprete the Bible just for attention. Even the prodigal son went to the father before he was forgiven.

He actually paid the police to travel from Port Harcourt down to Ibadan to arrest her and take her back to PH, because of an Instagram post!!! A pastor has the right to sue others, if he feels aggrieved. That's a logical place to settle things, impartially. A pastor can also be sued.

However, in this case I'm still trying to understand why she is in jail.
Please, is the crime more than defamation of character? Or did she attempt to murder him?

Why was she arrested if its a civil case?

Please, whoever ordered her arrest should also be sitting in gaol with her. Talk of abuse of office. If the pastor also bribed anyone to put her in jail, he should also be made to face the music.

Please, all this police is your friend and rebranding the police image people where art thou? What is going on?

This kind of talk doesn't apply here. You were celebrating the maligning of the pastor character and reputation when those dirty lies were published by kemi agsinst the pastor. You didn't write a post to condemn it abi.Now the pastor has reacted lawfully you are writing things. .

Why dont you ask Apostle paul why he cursed Elymas with blindness when Elymas resisted the gospel and Apostle paul ministry. Apostle paul should have also forgiven Elymas to continue his ministry of opposition. Why didnt Prophet Elisha forgive those 42 kids mocking him for his bald head. He didn't rather, he cursed them and they were consumed. Why, because there are times the wicked must be shown the other side of God.

I am not the kind of Christian that prays father forgive them they don't know what they are doing.Only Jesus could pray that prayer because the people who were killing Jesus didn't know they were helping him fulling his sole devine mission.

The folks attacking the reputation of people know what they are doing so the prayer of forgiveness doesn't always apply to them sometimes vengeance and jugement from above is just what is needed.

How I miss the ministry of Archbishop Benson Idahosa. You dare not try this rubbish with him or his ministry, if not you receive instant judgement.

It's too late for forgiveness now. Kemi didn't claim to be a Christian, the only person who preached forgiveness is the demonic pastor Ibiyeomi, and he threw forgiveness to the tornado. So this talk of forgiveness is suspect to give the fake pastor a soft landing to save face. Let him keep Kemi for as long as he can with all his might. Let's see how long he's permitted to.

SOME OF THESE UNBELIEVING BELIEVERS QUOTING SCRIPTURES OUT OF CONTEXT IS BAFFLING. THIS IS THE REASON WE ATTEND BIBLE STUDY CLASSES. MOST CHRISTIANS TODAY UNFORTUNATELY WANT MIRACLES NOT THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE WILL OF GOD.LISTEN:
1. God has not forgiven all. Only those who come to the cross and ask for forgiveness . If God has forgiven all, then all are on their way to heaven but no, not all. Only those who repent of their sins.
2. Satan or lucifer cannot recieve pardon. Do you know why? Go to church and ask your pastor.
3. Judas iscariot end was pre destinated, so is the fate of those who know the truth but chose to live a lie. They are doomed.
4. Some wrong individuals will tell you to eat with the devil using a long spoon. Wrong, the spoon will be demonized. Stay away from the devil, stay away from your enemy. 2 Timothy 3:5 " some have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof; from such turn away". Though not all but there are people you turn away from.
Finally, you need to defend yourself . The only reason JESUS did not defend himself was to fulfill the purpose for which He came. The apostles in the Acts of the Apostles defended themselves even appealing to Roman Supreme Court . Yet some shallow christians today demon possesed are campaigning that men of God should swallow all arrows thrown at them. These same can't dare speak against Islam . Why? They are cowards and anti christs out there on social media acting like they know too much about nothing.
