Bia ksslib you no de tire for epistle? I thought u had repented ooo Ksslib: "Big brother is not a poverty alleviation scheme"
"Big brother is not a charity organization"
Pls and pls, I take God beg una, stop broadcasting and re-broadcatsing the above lines when it comes to Mallam Umaru Efe. It has become stale already and i believe only phoolish people still use such lines.
Note: I have not been keenly following this year's BBA, neither have I emotionally invested nada towards any housemate. Any of them can win for all I care BUT some of y'all need to cut Mallam Umaru some slack.
Saying BBA is not a poverty alleviation scheme (when it comes to why Efe should win) is plain stupid.
See, everyone has a story. This story is why some of us have people who can die for us/ we can die for. How we connect to people's story/ how people connect to ours on an emotional level forms the very basic foundation of human relationships in our society.
Big brother is a game where people vote for who they connect more with, not who is more talented or whatever. Once viewers see a housemate representing their struggle/story, it's only natural for them to draw close to that housemate. You have no right to question or mock them.
Adamu pushes wheelbarrow for a living. Adamu sees Mallam Umaru - his fellow wheelbarrow pusher - on TV, about to win 25million naira. Who do you think Adamu will vote for? Once Umaru wins, Adamu wins too, because it gives him Hope that his struggle is only a matter of time.
Abi you no support Ghana for world-cup?
Having your favorite housemate win is the most vivid form of fantasy that goes beyond the game. Dumb people should get this into their skull. It's basic psychology.
If people want Efe to win cos he represents their struggle, free them and shut da ffuck up. If Big brother is not a poverty alleviation scheme, well, let me also inform you, neither is BBA is a talent show.
Debbie-rise should win because she's talented abi? Well, she didn't even win the GRAND prize on a show made for strictly talented people, so what you yapping about?
Bisola should win because she can Act abi? Awww very sweet... but Thin Tall Tony could dance very well too. Dancing, just like acting, is also a talent. Many even prefer dancing to acting.
So which yardstick should we use to measure who deserves the money based on what and what not?
I mentioned earlier on that BBA as a game is designed in such a way that people will always vote for who they connect more with and not who's very talented cos its not a talent game but more of a "Who is this housemate & how do I connect with them"? kinda thing.
Thin Tall was very talented but he still went home cos viewers later hated his 'CHARCATER' / PERSONALITY. I repeat, BBA is not a talent show, never was, never will.
If I was to vote for anyone, it def will be Mallam Umaru Efe cos he represents my struggles and there's nothing to be ashamed about that. Every tori get beginning.
There's always this emotional, psychological bias ingrained in each and everyone one of us. Same reason why majority tend to always tilt towards the underdog. Why as a black man/woman, you supported Ghana against European teams during the world cup.
BBA is not a talent show. It's not an acting show. It's not a body building show. It's not a cooking show. It's also not a poverty alleviation scheme.
It's a REALITY SHOW not limited to ANYTHING.
So if one housemate does not deserve to win because it's not a poverty alleviation scheme, then another housemate doesn't also deserve to win cos it's not a talent show.
Oh... You love talented people? Cool Well, others also love people who inspire them.
Mallam Umaru's attitude towards every task from day one echoes tales of a man who never gives up and wants to always win. He earned my respect the day he ate Ese's pant.
He knows that-- "Every win, no matter how little, is a psychological boost that gradually creates a winning mindset". I was impressed.
If I was to vote, I'll vote him cos he projects my struggle and way of thinking.
Debbie and the rest do not deserve the money cos BBA is not a talent show. Efe doesn't also deserve it cos its not a poverty alleviation scheme.
None of the housemates deserve the money since we can't yet find one fitting criteria that makes one deserving of the grand prize.... they should all go home.
You now see the stupidity, don't you?
Lastly & most importantly, do not forget to support your favorite housemate by sending me your ATM card, pin & log-in details to vote your favorite housemate on your behalf. God bless

Pls enough with this self esteem issue with debie rise, all of us can't be the same or else the world won't be existing right now. Some persons have to be soft and handle issues with caution which includes endeavouring to be at peace with everyone while others can leave caution to the wind and DGAF. She is just soft hearted and I will like to have her type around me because I love peace and people who are loyal around me. Life is too short to be always fighting and claiming rights abi who claiming rights don help. She will go very far with this her attitude because people still love this type of attitude while u all claiming u have self esteem will see her rising everyday.By the way,she is already a STAR in her own rights,so she doesn't need ur negative opinions and validations. 2 Likes |

I doubt Efe's and Bisola's fans voted massively though. Many didn't vote at all, some others that voted did so through WeChat mostly, and didn't mobilise, just what they could do within their nearest reach, possibly personal lines, even though a few others went extra for them. Team Efe. One Love. smokey3y3z:
I Agree. She has the third largest fan base, but other things can work against her. Efe and Bisola's fans were massively voting Bally and Marvis. A few gave Debbie pity votes plus her own fans. I dunno but i got this feeling. There's a poll that has never been wrong. Whatever happens, it's going to be a close one. This is the first time noone can say who exactly is going home. 1 Like |

Bro, I wonder why you resort to euphemism when qualifying Debie. She has low self esteem issues. Period! I know it, you know it and her fans know it. #TeamEfe So bloody what if she has low self-esteem? This line is getting more annoying by the minute. Is it her fault? A person's self-esteem is crafted by early agents of socialization. If one didn't have parents who steadily told them they were princesses; if one's parents always told them "look at Mrs. Ananaba's children!", whenever they messed up; if one was contiously required to be humble; how would they have a strong sense of self? The only way to get it back in adulthood is through achievement, support groups, and therapy. If she does have low self-esteem (and I don't believe she does), then Debie needs to win this show to improve her self-belief in the same way you people think Efe needs it to alleviate his poverty. It is also not Efe's fault that he is poor. They're both working on these supposed "issues" by being on Big Brother. Let them be, for Pete's sake! 5 Likes |
