There is a spiritual angle to this issue, and I am going to explain it.

The Snake/Serpent

The Serpent is used by the Bible to describe the most wicked/evil/insidious of mankind. The serpent tricked Eve into eating the forbidden fruit, Eve eventually fed the forbidden apple to her husband Adam, their disobedience to God’s commandment never to eat of the forbidden fruit is what led to the fall of man. Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden because they were tricked by satan to disobey the commandments of God.

Everlasting Enmity between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman

Weddings and Pre-weddings
The theme of the second coming of Christ, who is the second and last Adam is wedding/marriage. Jesus Christ is coming to wed his bride, the church. He is the head of the church and the church is his body; the church is made up of lineage and grafted.

Weddings are very joyous occasions, the bride is happy to have her crown on her head, the groom is happy to have his woman/body to himself.

One of the attributes of Serpent is wise, creative, and only a God can be that wise or creative.
