Good day mamas. Please help. My lo started rejecting formula yesterday. He's 6 weeks old and usually takes 2 bottles everyday. I breast fed only on Saturday and Sunday because he took immunization and was feverish, to resume bottle is now a problem. Please help. I'll be starting work in 2 weeks and we can't continue like this

Also I noticed green poop in 2 of his diapers. Just a little. Apart from that he's been pooing normally. When I Googled they said it was a side effect of the rotavirus. Please did anyone else experience this

Thanks a lot

u de try o, travelling with ur LO.
from birth till now (4 months+), I can count the number of times we have gone out to visit....very few, not to talk of travelling.

Will miss my bro's trad on 22nd april cos i was adviced to wait till she is 6 months b4 doing any serious travelling with her.

Akorkor:

Yes, they gave us BCG and Second Oral Vaccine because she cant take the first polio shot since its given immediately after birth. You are in line. My DD has taken 6th, 10th weeks now. We have moved again so she will continue with 14th weeks in another country. #lifeofatravelmom.

Hi Ladies,

So my baby doesnt seem to like visitors in the house. The moment an unfamiliar person comes into the house she starts getting uncomfortable and if they dare try to touch or carry her, she will cry an ocean, infact you will feel her shivering if someone is attempting to carry her. My inlaws came during the weekend and she cried till they left, i just couldnt help feeling bad for her and them sad What can i do to help her? I am even confused because she doesn't cry in church when people carry her.

Is it a continuous use tin.or for treatment.

I use sheabutter, coconut oil n and zinc cream.but after sometime when i stop. It reappears again.am worried of the effect of continous zinc cream.

Thats why am looking for a one stop cream.
She sweats alot n sleeping on her back doesnt help matters
I would suggest you stop the sheabutter for now because of its originality. ...you can continue with the coconut oil if you are sure it is NOT mixed. Ekene had same issues....I changed his soap from Chicco to Sebamed. I changed from sudocrem to baby tribotan....I discontinued the rising rave powder for heat rashes too.....in a week or less, the rashes have cleared. I am impressed with the Sebamed soap and the texture of his skin....I intend changing his cream too to Sebamed product. I also pour normal temperature water on him as many times as possible when ever he sweats in the afternoon. ..I started giving him vitamin C Supplements too....

Don't know of you have gotten answers.
I think it's true. I once had it too even under cold environment. What I did that helped me was placing something, anything (wrapper, flannel, handkerchief) under my baby's head, ie on top my hand where he was to be lain and I never had it again.
HTH.

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy
I foresee her banning all kinds of visitors when she grows up and gets married cheesy.
Maybe the house is always too quiet with just 3 of you.
Try playing some music and maybe organize play dates with kids a bit older than her.

I didnt experience this cos ma girl saw so many faces from birth....took her a while 2 even know me (or so i think)

Are u d only 1 carrying her since birth? If yes, she is so used to you
Try other hands.... leave her with her sum1 n go for a long bath or go to d mart
Drop her with someone n stylishly go to d other room.
Let her be with one or two people in ur absence.
She will cry..but she will learn.

Mayb creche too helped me.
Your baby just needs to see other people.
Take her on walks... round where u live.

And most importantly... always say a word of prayer 4 her.
I always always always pray through my day.
So bad (good) that i mumor prayers (could be one line) on cloths esp new things.
she is scared of unknown faces...

Let other mamas advise too.

Let it all out! You'll feel better.
My friend of 14 years just called me crying and asking me to get her a teaching job cos she is tired of her time consuming job and little baby. We talked about it and we both felt better.
I let her know teaching job isn't moimoi. As a mother, you are bound to feel guilty until proven otherwise. cheesy

It's N2400. It doesn't foam at all but was really good on him. Its not really sustainable. You can try dove sensitive soap. It's about N200.
