Thanks. I congratulate myself and other people expecting ITA today in advance. The score is favorable thanks to God. Waiting for my email. Someone once said your profile will be frozen after the draw till the email comes, mine isn't o..but I am hopeful

40manlappy:
This is super-amazing!

I think IRCC is determined to be unpredictable.

Congratulations to all recipients. Might have missed today's ITA by a few hours no thanks to wifey's ECA which just landed.

I pray the score for the next draw remains low.

Please @vcole can i have a copy of the LOE as i am struggling to try and write mine.

vcole:
As regards POF, and all ITA recipients rubbing pancake on top pof cold feet, let me share my own experience.
I probably had the most complicated pof i've heard of thus far. Lol!

I submitted 5 bank accounts. This is because funds moved through these accounts within the 6 month period prior to my app submission and besides if you read the guideline for pof on the cic site, it actually asks you to submit ref letters from all your banks.

So, I have 3 savings accounts, 1 current account and 1 joint account.
Joint account was less than 6 months old as at time of app submission. However, joint account is where we had been saving pof money that was not yet complete, because we had expected a prolonged pool stay considering the trend of high crs draws as at then and had saved about 70% of required pof or so at the time. So, post ITA, hubby transferred some funds to the joint account to make up the required amount and then I transferred the entire pof to my current account. Prior to this time, I had savings going into our joint account from savings accounts 1 and 2 as well as my current account and then savings also going into the joint account from my hubby's personal account.

Savings accounts 1,2,3 had monies moving within them regularly. You know how you can use one bank to keep maybe school fees, another for regular spending, another for "do not touch" money, etc. lol! Also, I had large deposits made from my mum, uncle, friends, etc etc into savings account 3 (gtbank). You know how your folks need you to help purchase something or pay for a service or send to someone else for them and then they pay into your account.......I was in a dilemma as to what to do.
However, I didn't feel comfortable delaying my app submission till the 60 day mark just so those transactions would fall off my bank statement....So, I wrote a very detailed LOE, explaining ALL the movement of funds and ALL lump sum deposits into ALL of my bank accounts over the 6 month period preceding the submission of my app. I also had a LOE written by my husband confirming funds transfers and dates (we did not include his bank statement as the transfer details showed his name as depositor on my bank statements), I also went ahead to get a LOE from my uncle and all other persons who had made lump sum deposits into that my gtbank account and whose names showed up on my statement as depositors as well as obtained a gift deed from my mom for the lump sum deposits she made into same account.
Of note is that, all of the funds in that my gtbank account had already been used up in payment of whatever I needed to help them pay for long ago, that account is like my regular day to day expense account and as at receiving ITA and as at submission of eAPR, balance was maybe 100k or something ridiculous like that.

By the time I had compiled my loe and all the other loes plus gift deed into one document it was 10 pages. lwkmd!!!!
I felt a bit ridiculous at this point but went ahead and uploaded the 10 page loe under the slot provided for loe in the eAPR oh.

Turns out, app was successful and gcms notes didn't even hint at any pof issue. So, my advise is that as long as you can explain and show proof of any of your concerns as regards pof that do not prevent you from meeting the ircc criteria, you shoud be fine.

Please do I merge the notarized gift deed and other evidences of the proof of funds transfer to the LOE and upload in the LOE field or I should upload the gift deed and other evidences in the Proof of funds field?

Please for POF, what other documents are you submitting along side the notarized gift deed? I also intend using a gift deed.

Kindly tell me where you got the gift deed done, cost, duration and requirements.

Thanks.

Please, for POF, can I use my uncle as the gifter? I'm afraid cic may want to know why an uncle would gift me such a large sum of money. The money is actually coming from my mum but her 6 months bank account statement will not support such a huge sum of money and I don't want to open doors for plenty questions from cic.

House pls advice. Thanks.

Oh my! You've got an Angolan PCC?! Oh my goodness! I've been thinking of how to go about getting one. I lived there about 2 yrs ago but I'm back in Nigeria now.

How did you go about it? What documents were required of you? What's the cost? How long did it take?

I'll appreciate if you can PM me your contact number or Facebook ID. I'm so relieved. You've just made my day.

Hi hi. My husband's friend that still lives there helped us. Let me ask him if I can give u his contact, then I PM u ok?

Hello house

Quick question pls

First of all pardon my silent mode. Secondly, hubby's passport is expiring in October and being that it's already within 6months time frame, it's likely that our application will still be in process on or before expiration. Now my question is, before final submittion of application post-ITA, how does one go about adding a new passport information into one's profile? Do we have to wait till they request for more documents?
I know this question most likely has been answered before, my apologies

seniors pls come to my aid here.

we thank God for today's score, congrats to all of us getting ITAs today grin

Who should be the principal applicant? I have IELTS of LRSW 9,9,7.5, 7.5 and work experience of 5 years in NOC C plus 4 years in NOC 0 I am 33 years old.
Hubby has LRSW 9, 8.5, 7,7 and work experience 10 years in NOC A and is 35 years. Both Bachelor's degree.

Why I ask this is I'm thinking hubby may have better chances of job offers.
Please assist.

MINISTERIAL INSTRUCTIONS RESPECTING INVITATIONS TO APPLY FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE UNDER THE EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM (APRIL 5, 2017)

Determination — number of invitations

1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on April 5, 2017, and ending on April 6, 2017, is 3,753.

Required rank

(2) Foreign nationals who, on April 5, 2017, at 12:09:10 UTC, have been assigned a total of 431 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System that is set out in the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System, as published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 1, 2014, and as amended from time to time, occupy the rank required to be invited to make an application for permanent residence.

Please can anyone explain the bolded? I am trying to understand the "cutoff" better. Does it mean that any score updated after that time is ineligible? Thanks

I think you should be the principal applicant. Age is to your advantage. Try using the crs calculator on the cic website so you can take a decision based on the outcome. Meanwhile, kudos to both of you...you both killed IELTS.

So glad I can finally say that my ITA is here. Still feels like a dream. Super grateful to God for this grin. Thanks to this lovely Nairaland family for all support and comments. Ejor my seniors, abeg we go need your expertise and guidance as we proceed in the applications.

Just a quick note, Dont give up on your dreams. I remember how we gave up last year November when the ietls result came out and was not favorable but then God came through for us this January. 6 english tests in total between last year April and this January (myself and hubby). My ECA took over a year with ICAS, still with them self, thank God for wisdom to switch to WES in January.

Also, get the best information you need such as; who should best be the principal applicant, the credential evaluation body to use in terms of efficiency and if the assessment result will favour you like Law students will use IQAS, the IETLS score you need to get and put in all your own possible best. This thread has more than enough information for you. If you still have doubts and need clarification, feel free to consult on this thread. The God factor is SOOOOOOO important in all this hustle. Our strength cant bring us victory but only HIM. Please note that getting adequate information from this thread helped us to quickly switch Principal applicant this year, I never knew HND was worth more than Bsc until I came on this thread.

I will share the complete testimony when the PPR is here grin.

Thanks all and may God make your dreams come true. I await your testimonies.

@40manlappy and everyone awaiting ITA.. You are next in line grin

Yes bro. Any score/EE profile updated when the round of invitations begin 12:09:10 UTC, April 5, 2017 (in this case) is not eligible until the next round of invitations begin. The duration April 5-6, 2017 is when ITAs will be sent out and received by those that meet the cut off point.
