Please I want my brother who is just 14years old and in SS2 to attend this institute before he writes the jamb exam.. Do you think its a good idea?

I did graphics at new horizon.

I learnt nothing due to their teaching method or maybe it wasn't my calling sha.

I spread this news Cus it helped me.

I mention their name Cus they favoured me.

I had stayed at home for 5 years after graduation that I almost was contemplating suicide. I did menial jobs ranging from Concrete mixer to Building Mason just to survive. Several time I logged in on Nairaland during resting hours and I kept on seeing the skills that could land someone a job by one favorite poster here.

I decided to save up money and learn any of them, so I chose Web Design. From the proceeds of my menial jobs as from last year, I looked out for a company that I could learn the in-depth of the program, and that was also affordable. A friend referred me to IIHT(India Institute) in Lagos.

After I completed my class, we did a project and I came out excellent. They linked me up to one of their partners who offered me a web-manager job. After some months, I got another two job offers to act as a web design instructor in another IT firm.

After comparing Salary (Because of economy) I opted for the foreign firm offer. Right now I just rented my own apartment after three months of working with them.

Who says IT Education is not the easiet way out. of unemployment in Nigeria.?

I am considering a masters degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field after my BSC (Geology). How possible is this? will I face stiff competition in the job market due to my BSC background?

In IT they need two things:

Knowledge and certifications.

That's all. No competition if you are good.

should I call it laziness or lack of foresight? you chose slavery over independency, is really a pity.

A graduate of Agriculture can practice and work in all the branches of Agriculture, be it Agronomy, Animal science, breeding, Agricultural Economic, fisheries, horticulture, e.t.c


If i were you, i wont throw my knowledge and sufferings of my B Agric in vain, i will rather raise fund to be an Agriprenuer.

Any random system with at least 1gig ram.

Most IT institutes have computers they use so let it not be a constraint for you.
