If you can not see improvement in Sterling, then how can you see other things. See a tweet by the former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh.

Sunday Oliseh ✔@SundayOOliseh
Is this the same Raheem Sterling or a Clone? lol. What a complete metamorphosis.Superb technique,Vision & joy to watch.Infectious. Bravo!

Guardiola already said it will take time for his system to bear fruits. If anyone studies closely, the improvement is tremendous.

Navas played well against Chelsea and Arsenal. Meanwhile, he was not a regular, does that mean he was rendered useless? Delph has not played for a long time but was brilliant against Chelsea, does that mean he was useless.

Maybe some people expect money to buy immediate success, what I expected was not immediate success. As the team keeps understanding the game, we will keep improving.
Ok... I hear you

LMAO...you are giving us a quote made since 28 Sep 2016 before clubs adapted to Pep's one-way method. Remember that it was at that period that he went unbeaten and players like Kolarov and Stones were called the best defenders in the EPL. Look inwards and ask yourself, "Is this Sterling better than the one we saw at Liverpool?

Your remarks defending Pep is often too bemusing for my comments. I chuckled when you said Alli will not send all your overpriced players to the bench. It's unbelievable what you say sometimes. Na drilling we go chop? Drilling that will drive a first team player to the bench and then to not making matchday squads. How does that signify progress?

My take on Pep And Iheanacho.

Earlier in the season when the debate about whether Iheanacho should leave City or stay, my opinion was let him face the competition and fight for shirt if he is the Super Star we say he is.

When Gabriel Jesus came and Iheanacho was excluded from match day squads i said the next couple of weeks will tell.

Gabriel Jesus got injured and Iheanacho is still being left out of match day squads consistently for a couple of weeks.

IMO mancity does not have plans for Kelechi Iheanacho. Jesus is out and Iheanacho is nt even on the bench so what now happens after the second coming of Jesus? Him fit no make bench for the 'Drills' sef.

I am worried.

Why?

2018 WC is 14months away. I have faith that we will qualify. And if Pep continues dealing with Iheanacho same way then that will spell doom for us. People are mentioning, Kayode, Odey, Adi, Ideye, Anichebe and co. All these are not Super star materials. None of them can pose a 5star performance even on their best day.

Iheanacho even on his off day on the pitch still manages to pose at least a 3 star performance. He is the only striker we have that has the potential to pose a 5star performance on his good day.

So we need a club that can help him and us attain that level befitting his potential. It is not every year we see player of such calibre being born in Nigeria and we allow Pep to continue drilling him as if he is searching for Oil in his head?

I dnt even mind any more if he goes to any middle table team. We need him to be playing as we build towards the world cup next year.
We dnt even need him on the bench and he plays 5-10mins. We need him to be playing 90mins.

My verdict: Iheanacho must leave City this summer!

please sir stop this thing...
it is annoying the way you keep defending this coach....to the extent even sir Joseph once said..it's like you share same bed with pep...

it is crystal clear...that pep has no plans for nacho
what's the essence of training so hard and still be out of the match day squad...so he should keep training hard to impress the difficult to please coach

you don't need to do all that to please a manager who believes in you...some persons just can't be pleased no matter how hard you try.....

nacho gets to this level he is all by hard work...the young man has fought tirelessly to get this level
he never got it on a plate of gold....
pep is simply a selfish coach...if you don't want the young man in your team loan him out...

I will.blame rohr should this continue next season... because should he begin to bench nacho or not extending a call to him will make him and his father to begin to think that this situation really need to be looked into..

he must be smart to ask for a loan move during the summer...
reminds me of KDB at Chelsea

Abeg... Nacho needs game time not more bench time or just drills time.....

I will keep my fingers crossed. All I know is he is too valuable to mancity for him to be sold! Gabriel Jesus can be moved to the wings, navas sold, nolito sold but not nacho. Patrick Roberts will be brought back. Do you honestly think aguero will agree to sit on the bench next season for gabriel Jesus?

I gave you examples and all you can say is drills my foot. I repeat. Delph was brilliant against Chelsea, one of the best I have ever seen him play. When Guardiola arrived, he first gave Delph defensive drills and made him train with the defenders. Some sports writers thought Guardiola was converting him to a defender.

Months later, we have a brilliant deep lying playmaker. Does this look like Drills my foot to you?

I was flabbergasted and blown away by Delph he hasn't played a game in ages. Yes they lost but he was just absolutely outstanding.

And a player who has had almost zero game time. I really didn't think it was possible. There is training and the players mentality, drive and determination. Football is about opportunity and I really expect to see much more if him, it looks like he has siezed hi opportunity.

This is what KC has to do, the bar has obviously been raised yes the option to leave is good. But can he force Pep to change his view by putting in a performance that blows all doubts away. The ball is in KC's court.

How do you know that?

Do you know the politics that goes on behind the scene. Kooman is an excellent coach and I remember he gave Pienarr his first break at Ajax when he was only 17.

Koeman believes in youngsters however, he has a backroom staff that is dominated by a bunch of scousers and former Everton players from the kick and rush brigade. And they like physicality.

They are exceptional talents , to go from League 1 into Premiership and into the England team all in one season is far from easy, add to that being abandoned by your Nigerian Father in the case of Dele and going in too care because your Alcaholic mother is incapable is far from easy.

Barkley Father is an alcoholic lost mixed race Nigerian who may have never been to Nigeria in his life, a legacy of the Nigerian sailors that came to Liverpool in the 50's. 60's , 70's and 80's before NNSL collapsed. He also didn't have it easy , however, he looks more white than black so racism may not have come into it for him. What I am saying is to strengthen your point, despite all the odds against them their exceptional talent has brought them to the top.

What you do not know are the boys who were better than some of these player we see and watch on tv in the EPL. That unfortunately you will never hear of, but were side stepped to make way for the favoured ones this is very common in English football academies protecting the investment or the interests of other stakeholders.

Maybe @bolded will never allow England to win major trophy.

As you have rightly said, both are exceptional players. grin

Iheanacho is not playing but he is recieving 5 star drills and development at mancity. Let him keep developing. His time will come. Pep is one of the best coaches to work with whether you are on the field of play or rotting on the bench.
He must remain at mancity. He must keep recieving drills until he himself turns to a drilling machine by 2018.

And of note, if he is experiencing loss of form, its not because he is not playing. Alex Iwobi don play tire but he still lost form.

So the verdict: Nacho must remain at the drill city and become a drilling machine by WC 2018.

Ofcos Aguero won't sit on the bench for Gabby Jesus as Another striker is also being lined up.... a marquee signing I understand.

So you think Nacho, as super talented as he is, will also wanna remain City's third choice striker? Coz I don't see Pep moving Jesus to the Wings.... he has Sane and Sterling there on both wings already.

Unless we are in for a surprise this summer...... unless that.... Iheanacho, (The One City "thought" they were looking for but have now become the rejected stone because of "American wonder" from the south of the American continent), should leave as clubs are much that will want him.....

Without Game time..... I am afraid KC won't change Pep's Mind.....
And if it is by training pep is convinced coz Pep values Training more than anything, Then I am sure KC has done enough.... coz KC is also a beast in Training. Even Pep have admitted that subtly some time back....

But somehow, despite all these, pep sends him back to the bench

And talking about Opportunity, Pep's treatment of KC didn't start now. He started a few months ago and KC went about 5-6 (maybe more) matches without playing at all and the moment Pep sent him unto the pitch in that FA cup game for just less than 10mins.. What happened?

KC Scored despite having no previous recent game time to fall back on.... Didn't he take his opportunity then? The camera even showed how stunned Pep was with KC's goal... Yet What happens next is baffling!!!! He sends KC back to the bench and now out of the matchday squad altogether....

I am afraid Kelechi "Alien Kid" Iheanacho is not being given a fair chance to prove his worth to Pep.... pep sees only what he wanna see.... it seems.

unless we are in for a surprise this summer..... until then... KC should leave.

As soon as Pep signed Gabriel Jesus, I knew Nacho would have serious problems. I kept on telling people all this talk of Gabriel Jesus playing on the wing was a lie. He was bought to play as a 9 from the start. Nacho should've asked for a loan in January...he probably didn't want to piss Pep up so he kept quiet and played "humble team player". Imagine using Sterling as a false 9 when Nacho is fit and yet people feel Pep values Nacho...SMH.

Nigeria U23 international Azubuike Okechukwu faces an imminent exit from Yeni Malatyaspor as he is attracting interest from top Turkish Super Lig clubs ahead of the opening of the transfer window.

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Beşiktaş J.K, Osmanlıspor and Kasimpasa have made undisclosed bids to sign the central midfielder and Yeni Malatyaspor higher-ups are studying the offers.

20-time Turkish champions Galatasaray S.K have already opened talks with Azubuike’s camp, though they have not yet firmed up their interest by submitting a bid.

Regarded as one of the most promising talents in Africa, the 19-year-old started his career in his homeland with Niger Tornadoes before shifting to Bayelsa United, from where he was snapped up by Yeni Malatyaspor in 2015.

Azubuike Okechukwu has one international cap to his name which came in an African Cup of Nations qualifier versus Egypt a year ago.

I wonder how a player with such shooting accuracy be repeatedly left out of match day squads.

Take that boy to the emirates and see the difference.
