I know Ndidi failed it but he is still very young.

Whatever his age is, he is clearly young, the MRI has checkmated the situation where we had men claiming to be boys.

I couldn't stop wondering in bewilderment Yakubu is supposedly 34 and he can't even run anymore. Again I still give him serious kudos for what he has achieved whatever his age may be.

The video below really says it's time to TOTALLY STOP before he completely disgraces himself and destroys his legacy. Maybe he still believes his football age I do not know.

This is the best news I have heard in a long time. I have been praying for him to sign for a top Euro club side and get playing time. To me, Azubuike Okechukwu has the potential to be our best DM for the World Cup. Especially with Mikel having chosen money (China) over competitive football, our prospective midfielders in Russia (if we qualify) are likely to be: Okechukwu/Ndidi (DM) and Etebo/Iwobi (CM/AM).

And I would also like to have Emmanuel Daniel get a top club and get playing time as well. We need him in top form as a back up for Carl Ikeme.

Turkish Super Lig powerhouse Galatasaray are interested in signing Nigeria international Azubuike Okechukwu,

The Istanbul side are believed to have opened talks with the intermediary handling the affairs of the central midfielder, ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window.


Since returning from the 2016 Olympic Games, Okechukwu has been involved in every single league game for Yeni Malatyaspor, except the clash with Göztepe on December 4, which he missed because of accumulated bookings.

My take on Pep And Iheanacho.

Earlier in the season when the debate about whether Iheanacho should leave City or stay, my opinion was let him face the competition and fight for shirt if he is the Super Star we say he is.

When Gabriel Jesus came and Iheanacho was excluded from match day squads i said the next couple of weeks will tell.

Gabriel Jesus got injured and Iheanacho is still being left out of match day squads consistently for a couple of weeks.

IMO mancity does not have plans for Kelechi Iheanacho. Jesus is out and Iheanacho is nt even on the bench so what now happens after the second coming of Jesus? Him fit no make bench for the 'Drills' sef.

I am worried.

Why?

2018 WC is 14months away. I have faith that we will qualify. And if Pep continues dealing with Iheanacho same way then that will spell doom for us. People are mentioning, Kayode, Odey, Adi, Ideye, Anichebe and co. All these are not Super star materials. None of them can pose a 5star performance even on their best day.

Iheanacho even on his off day on the pitch still manages to pose at least a 3 star performance. He is the only striker we have that has the potential to pose a 5star performance on his good day.

So we need a club that can help him and us attain that level befitting his potential. It is not every year we see player of such calibre being born in Nigeria and we allow Pep to continue drilling him as if he is searching for Oil in his head?

I dnt even mind any more if he goes to any middle table team. We need him to be playing as we build towards the world cup next year.
We dnt even need him on the bench and he plays 5-10mins. We need him to be playing 90mins.

My verdict: Iheanacho must leave City this summer!

Guardiola already said it will take time for his system to bear fruits. If anyone studies closely, the improvement is tremendous.

Navas played well against Chelsea and Arsenal. Meanwhile, he was not a regular, does that mean he was rendered useless? Delph has not played for a long time but was brilliant against Chelsea, does that mean he was useless.

Maybe some people expect money to buy immediate success, what I expected was not immediate success. As the team keeps understanding the game, we will keep improving.

top class post boss. clearly pep doesn't fancy kelechi that is not a sin. abi how many world class players has pep not considered or even rubbed the wrong way. KC and his advisers should just calmly sit down in the summer and get him another club where he will be appreciated .
it's my humble opinion that not only mid table clubs but top ones like chelsea, arsenal and liverpool will love to have him. i have no worries about his ability if as match rusty as he is he could give the experienced rugged senegalese defenders a run for their money. enough with the power drills when no be say na carpenter!

Onazi could even be pushed further down the pecking order next season when Mikel Agu rejoins FC PORTO.

Victor Moses is in line to return for Chelsea against Bournemouth on Saturday - a match that manager Antonio Conte believes will be a "great challenge" for the Premier League leaders.


A calf injury kept Nigeria international Moses out of the shock 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace last Saturday and the 2-1 win over Manchester City on Wednesday.


Conte experimented with Pedro at the right wing-back position
against Palace before moving Cesar Azpilicueta into the role for the visit of Pep Guardiola's men, with Kurt Zouma returning to the centre of the defence.


And, although he hopes to have Moses fully fit for the match at Vitality Stadium, Conte has praised his squad for ensuring that the loss of regular members of the starting line-up has not been damaging to their title charge.


Asked about Moses' fitness, Conte told a news conference: "He trained with us. I have to check his situation and then make the best decision for the team. But he is available.


"Victor Moses showed this season that he is an important player for us, but in the games against Crystal Palace and City we showed that we can play without him.


"We are a team, not 11 single players. If you think you can win a game with only one player, you are in trouble, because if you miss this player then it's impossible to win.


"I'm pleased when this happens because it means every single player is into our football. During the training sessions, I have 20 players and I train them in the same way, because I know that anything can happen during the season and you must have players available.


"I think Zouma showed this in a tough game against a great team."


Tottenham will have the chance to close to within four points of the Premier League leaders before they kick off against Bournemouth, but Conte feels Spurs' result will have little impact on what is set to be a difficult game for his side.


"I don't think it's an advantage [to play earlier]," Conte said. "If they win, lose or draw, it's the same. It's important to look at ourselves. Tottenham's result is important but ours is the most important.


"I see two teams, Chelsea and Tottenham, in this [title] race. But anything can happen. There are 24 points and other rivals can get into this race.


"For us, this is a great challenge. It's not easy to play against City, a big game, big atmosphere, and then play after three days against Bournemouth.


"They're a really good team, with a good coach, a good idea of football. If we think that it's easy, we're making a great mistake."

Conte went on to defend his decision to recall Nathan Ake from his loan spell at Bournemouth, despite the 22-year-old having yet to make an appearance in the league since returning to Stamford Bridge.


"Yes, I think this was the right decision," he said. "It's important to check our players and then to see the improvement.

"I'm happy to have Nathan with us. It's not easy when you arrive and you have, before you, five central defenders who are really good. But I'm pleased with his commitment and his attitude. He's a good player. It was right to bring him with us in this season.”

Nigeria have been dealt a serious blow in their quest to lure Everton rising star Ademola Lookman to switch allegiance to the senior national team of Nigeria.

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has succeeded in luring players of Nigerian descent born abroad to pledge their future to the Nigerian team but Lookman has turned down his approach.


While Ola Aina and Chuba Akpom have given their words to Rohr about representing Nigeria, Lookman who is also a youth international for England has confirmed his commitment to the Three Lions of England.


Lookman told Dan Ashworth, the FA’s director of elite development, that he wants to play for England despite interest from Nigeria.

He hopes to represent England at the U-21 European Championship, and also has high hopes that he will gate crash coach Gareth Southgate senior side before the World Cup 2018 in Russia.

NFF Choose Venue And Date For Super Eagles AFCON Qualifier Vs South Africa




Three-time African champions Nigeria will play their first competitive game of 2017, a 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.


The Nigeria Football Federation have also informed that the match will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2017.


The Super Eagles missed out on the 2017 African Cup of Nations after finishing second in the qualifiers behind Egypt, and could not defend their crown in Equatorial Guinea.

For the second straight year, the Super Eagles will camp in France in May, before the AFCON qualifier against South Africa.


Meanwhile, the fourth edition of the annual Nigeria Pitch Awards ceremony will hold in Uyo two hours after the match against Bafana Bafana, and a total of 18 awards will be handed out at this year’s ceremony.

MFM's Odey Deserves Super Eagles Invitation - Dosu

Ex international Dosu Joseph has called on the technical crew of the Super Eagles to extend an invitation to in-form Mountain of Fire Ministries (MFM) striker, Stephen Odey to the senior national ahead of subsequent matches.


Odey, who has scored 13 goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League this ongoing season, has been snubbed by the Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr; most especially during last month's international friendly matches against Senegal in London.


The Atlanta Olympic gold medalist told soccernet.com.ng that lots of emphasis shouldn't be shown on the foreign based players but the local players such as Odey should be invited to the team, in a bid to prove his worth.


"It's really unfair to imagine that the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) players have not been giving a chance to prove their worth in the Super Eagles," Dosu told soccernet.com.ng .


"For instance, look at the exploit of Stephen Odey, who has been firing from all cylinder for Mountain of Fire Ministries (MFM) in the league. SOKARI GETS ANOTHER TEAM-OF-THE WEEK SELECTION



After another superlative performance against Esperance last Sunday, it is no surprise that former junior international star, Kingsley Sokari, was chosen to the Team-of-the-Week for the last round of matches in the Tunisian Ligue 1 by the LNFP, the arm of the Tunisian Football Federation, FTF, that organises the league.


CS Sfaxien were held to a goalless draw at home in the big derby game but Sokari put up a brilliant show to further confirm his rising pedigree in the north African country, so much so that he is seen by analysts and fans as the best foreign player in the league.


And as further evidence of his output in the encounter with former Tunisian champions Esperance, the former Enyimba of Aba and Eco FC of Lagos linchpin was nominated into the first eleven selection after all the games of last weekend.


The 21 year-old has been enjoying rave reviews this season at cash strapped Sfaxien and is currently in Burkina Faso for this Sunday’s CAF Confederations Cup fixture against Rail du Kadiogo.


Sokari, who won his first full cap for the Super Eagles against Cote d’Ivoire in January 2015 and also featured for Nigeria at the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup and All Africa Games for under 23s, is being touted to move to a bigger league in the forthcoming transfer window.


In only his first full season with the Sfax club following his mid term transfer in December 2015, Sokari has had a number of top selections like this, including the one after he inspired Sfaxien to a 2-0 win over Tataouine on December 23rd, 2016.

Everton Ademola Lookman Tells Gernot Rohr – I Want To Play For England Not Nigeria




Nigeria have been dealt a serious blow in their quest to lure Everton rising star Ademola Lookman to switch allegiance to the senior national team of Nigeria.

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has succeeded in luring players of Nigerian descent born abroad to pledge their future to the Nigerian team but Lookman has turned down his approach.


While Ola Aina and Chuba Akpom have given their words to Rohr about representing Nigeria, Lookman who is also a youth international for England has confirmed his commitment to the Three Lions of England.


Lookman told Dan Ashworth, the FA’s director of elite development, that he wants to play for England despite interest from Nigeria.

He hopes to represent England at the U-21 European Championship, and also has high hopes that he will gate crash coach Gareth Southgate senior side before the World Cup 2018 in Russia.

Little Known Nigerian Striker Kazeem Adeyeri Turning Heads With 52 League Goals In Two Seasons



Relatively unknown Nigerian striker Kazeem Adeyeri is now the toast of so many teams in and outside Seychelles following his impressive showings in the last two seasons.


22 year old Adeyeri has plundered 52 goals in two seasons at St. Louis FC, with 28 goals coming in his first season while so far he has 24 goals to his name this season.


Last year Adeyeri saw a late move to Cyprus side Aris FC collapse despite reportedly doing well during a short trial at the club.


However reports has it that is presently courting interest from teams in Israel, thanks to Israeli agent Monder Majdob, who has proposed the free scoring forwards to couple of teams in Israel ahead of the opening of the transfer window in the summer.

Hannover 96 Coach Insist – Sarenren Bazee Shouldn’t Have Joined Super Eagles



The decision of Noah Joel Sarenren Bazee to team up with the senior national team of Nigeria as against the advice of the doctors of Hannover 96 has infuriated coach Andre Breitenreiter.


Sarenren Bazee teamed up with the Nigerian squad for the first time after pledging his allegiance to the Nigerian team ahead of Germany, but the forward failed to take part in any of the team’s training session.


He arrived the camp of the Super Eagles in London with a knee complaint which has been troubling him since the start of the year, and his trip was against the advice of doctors of Hannover 96 as reported by Owngoalnigeria.com.


” He shouldn’t have made the trip to London. That was the period he was due to receive treatment from the doctors, but he left for the national team camp and missed some vital treatment days.


” We have to see how he recover in the next few days because he is very vital to our plans of gaining promotion to the Bundesliga”, Breitenreiter said ahead of their game against Wurzburger Kickers.


Promotion chasing Hannover 96 are currently top of the Bundesliga 2 , and Bazee has played in 13 games for the team, no thanks to injuries and fitness issues.

Moyes: Anichebe Will Play Vs United, Sunderland Can Escape Relegation



Sunderland manager David Moyes says he will give Nigerian striker Victor Anichebe playing time in Sunday’s Premier League clash at home to Manchester United, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.


Anichebe returned from a three-month injury lay-off by making a second-half appearance in the 2-0 loss to Leicester in midweek.


“Victor’s up and running,” Moyes said on Friday during his pre-match press conference.


“We need him up to a level where he can make a difference. We’re in a position where we have to take risks.


“Can he play 90 minutes? Probably not. Can he play some minutes? Yes.”
Sunderland are in serious danger of relegation as they are rock bottom, 10 points from safety with only eight games left for them.


Eyeing a win against his former club, Moyes added: “It’s a massive ask for us now, but we’re not relegated yet and we have a chance.


“We’ll push as hard as we can. We sometimes rely on Jermain Defoe a lot and I hope he has another half dozen before the end of the season, but others have to score as well.”

Chelsea Fans Want Moses Back In Action

Chelsea fans have clamoured for Victor Moses' immediate return to action after the Antonio Conte's side seemed to have labour it their two recent games played without injured Nigeria international, Comple tesportsnigeria.com reports.


Moses has missed Chelsea's last two Premier League games against Crystal Palace and Manchester City due to injury.
His last game for Chelsea was in their 2-1 away win against Stoke City in March.


And it is not yet confirmed if he will feature against Bournemouth on Saturday at the Vitality Stadium.


Following Moses' continued absence, some of Chelsea fans took to Twitter to express their wish that the right-wing-back get back into the team as quickly as possible.

4EverDope @Flimzzy889 wants Moses to be ready for their away trip to Manchester United next Sunday.

"We've missed you a lot (Moses) and I pray you recover quick before our match against Man United."

Luke @LukePainter wrote that he can't wait for Moses' return.
"Swift recovery Victor. Need you back."

Ollie Glanvill @OllieGlanvill stated that Moses should be in the Chelsea team that will face Bournemouth this Saturday.

On his part, J @jwv1995 confessed Moses missed missed by the fans and the team.

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has commenced preparations in earnest ahead of their AFCON 2019 qualifiers against South Africa in June.


Rohr outlined his plans for the tie in an interview conducted at the Agege Stadium, where he watched a Nigeria National League game between AS Racine and Warri Wolves.


"We are meeting them in just eight weeks, so we don't have much time. We must prepare very well for that match and we have already set out a training scheme to prepare the team.


"Some of the players will finish their league season at the beginning of May, some middle of May and we cannot allow them to go for holiday for three weeks and later ask them to come to camp ahead of the game against South Africa.


"We have a programme to work together as a team. We have arranged for camping in France and we have been invited for some friendly games, although it's not FIFA window. We have some young players who we need to look at and also some of them that have finished their season in Europe".

Ademola Lookman has made his choice, I truly believe Nigeria should not be an option but a choice.

I hope it all goes well with him. Now we can look at those who want to play for thier Fatherland. We still have to raise the Brand Green Eagles higher and make it a high aspiration and thing of great pride.

Now the NFF have to stop buying into the hype and do thier own research and discovery. Do not wait for England to discover talent for you before you can recognise it. Not all premier players are good enough for the Eagles.

In this regard Ademola is not as good as Aluko by a huge margin younger yes, better capital No. Ademola is not in my opinion better than Onyedinma and he is a class act. If not for football politics he should be playing at a top premiership team.

I am not impressed by Chuba Akpom he is simply not good enough as a striker.

Anichebe on his day is completely unplayable he should be in the mix.

Of course all eyes are on Oghene - Tega, with England promising all kinds of endorsement as a spin off for playing for England. This may prove difficult but achievable.
