Sheriff never convene a meeting. The meeting was convene by Goodluck Jonathan for a purpose in which Sheriff was part of it.
If he meant well for the party or meeting, why can't he call the convener since he received invitation to attend that he will preside.
Beside there is no meeting that a novice who is not a convener should preside.
I don't blame the Boko Haram Lord but I blame the PDP caucus who only saw an arm robber fit to become a National Chairman just because of his money, when there were others.

A lot of adults truly have no. A very simple thing they cannot comprehend. The meeting is not a party convection or party function. It's a reconciliation meeting convened by a respected elder in the party to settle the differences between two factions of which Sheriff is one.

No-one has said he's not the chairman.

It's simply illogical and impossible for Sheriff to preside over duchy ready reconciliation meeting when he's one of the two faction to be reconciled.

The failure and damage of democracy can only be repaired by the military.

We're only deceiving ourselves with this pseudo democracy cos it's the same military personnel ruling, they only hung their uniforms for the "Agbada" and are exploiting the stupidity and leniency of democracy to rob the nation blind.

Fact is even the military is unpredictable but at least there's zero tolerance for these democratic charade especially with the way the legislators and judiciary are holding the polity to ransom.

How can you be a judge in your own case? Infact, if you are not directly involved in a case, but it is perceived that you may have interests to protect, then you aren't supposed to adjudicate on the case.

As far as am concerned, Sherrif is the chairman and Jonathan the leader. Opening remarks must be done by both especially as Jonathan the convener of the meeting.

If the meeting is a peace meeting, the most important thing is to recognise sherrif, without that, its another deadlocked meeting. Whatever the agenda of the meeting, sherrif not been aware of it is a set up in his eyes especially with the likes of Wike there who probably brought Jonathan to that meeting to favour themselves.

Put yourself in Sherrif shoes, what will you do? Hand over the party like that for nothing? They must be willing to bargain before a resolution can be sought. But what Wike, Fayose want is to get rid of Sherrif which wont happen.

The truth is that Jonathan is not a respected leader despite being ex-President. What actually killed PDP was Jonathan's insistence on contesting 2015 elections when PDP stakeholders and all of Nigeria knew power must go North after 14 years in South.

If PDP rightly fielded a Northerner in 2015 and lost there wouldn't be crisis in the party today. Wike and others thinking they can make any impact in 2019 don't know nothing about our politics. The North is majority and backed by US and England decides our political directions. 2019 Buhari continues and if Igbos keep themselves in order 2023 Igbo gets Presidency backed by the North otherwise Southwest or South-south gets it again backed by the North.
