Hello Guys, OK, my AOR was Feb 15th and I got Medical pass March 24th. Apparently the volume of applications have increased and as a result things seems to have slowed down a little bit. There are even many Feb applicant that are yet to get any update at all. I know some march applicants already got medical passed but very few, so if you haven't don't bother, it will come in due time. I think we just have to wait patiently... (....yeah! I know. The waiting is nearly unbearable! But what choice do we have ?) happymumtobe: 1 Like |

Gurus in the house. I understand that NYSC Service year causes some sorta confusion and could complicate your application. Where is it best explained... Work history or personal History or is it best not spoken about at all? What would you advice? I would appreciate swift response house. Rgds. |

Thanks a lot, really appreciate Ehrnie: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Ehrnie: 10:15pm On Apr 07, 2017 |
Spatz81: NYSC is employment and falls under personal history, if and only if you aren't claiming points for it. If you are claiming points (& you are sure you can get reference letter from your employer) then it should be under your work history. All the best! |

Demo213: Hi - Can you kindly explain what "medical pass" is? Do you get an email via your CIC account that you've passed your medicals, or is this just an upload onto your CIC account? |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Ehrnie: 10:42pm On Apr 07, 2017 |
Spatz81: Like any normal payment portal, it'll probably return you to your application page (I'm not sure for certain). To avoid any hassle, maybe you should only proceed to the payment portal when you are ready to make payment. I don't know anything about the GT MasterCard. Sorry can't answer that. |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by vcole: 2:55am On Apr 08, 2017 |
@Spatz81, I carefully read through your post. That was a very important update to the rules that you brought to the fore. It means that if an applicant receives an ITA on say April 1st and has his birthday on May 1st and submits his eAPR on May 1st or after, whenever the immigration officer begins to review his application for eligibility checks (i.e. A11.2), he stands the chance of being denied permanent residence based on not being eligible if by virtue of losing points for age, his CRS drops below the required cut off for the draw in which he was invited. However, if he submits after his birthday and yet even with the points lost for age, his CRS still meets or surpasses the cut off for the draw, his application would be fine. Also, if he goes ahead to submit his eAPR before his birthday on May 1st, his app would be fine. Bottom line - once you receive an ITA, endeavour to submit your eAPR before your next birthday if you know that your CRS less 5 points would make you fall below the cut off for your draw. @bimpsy99, pls take note that "your application would not be refused" is not the same as having a successful outcome. @esosa4real, I got my passport back siiiiiincceee in February. It only took 5 days. Don't worry about your medicals, sometimes it gets updated quickly, other times it takes a while. @40manlappy,congrats. This has been a long time coming. I wish you a smooth sail from here on. @markab, I am female oh. I often wonder why "thanks bro" is the default response when someone gives a reply. Is it only men that provide answers? #justsaying @lochinny, medical doctors can only evaluate their degrees through MCC and pharmacists can only evaluate theirs through PEBC, any other evaluation done by any other evaluating agency would be declared null and void by IRCC. If your husband is the PA and his estimated crs scores WITHOUT evaluating your own degree is 459, then y'all may want to write ielts and get his own degree evaluated and get into the pool asap to take advantage of the wind of low cut off draws. @ugoiyke79e, that eAPR form can be dicey. You may have to fill all the info again seeing as it wiped off. Greetings to all. Congrats to all new ITA recipients. And to the hopefuls, hang in there. It'll happen soon. P.S. If anyone new here sent me PMs, pls kindly endeavor to ask your questions here as I would be unable to respond to the messages via email. 6 Likes |

Both actually. You get an email that your CIC account have been updated and when you log in to CIC you will see your medical status change to "you pass the medical exam" could be a different wording but....you get the point. Ehrnie: |

Good morning great people!! Please I have a problem. While filling IQAS application, I mistakenly put November 21st 2005 as the date my hubby finished school instead of 30th September 2005 that was written on the statement of result. I don't know how to correct it because IQAS can not be edited and I feel it might affect the evaluation. Please what should I do? |

Hello House, kindly advice; Received my IELTS result today for me and my spouse as follows; Myself: L7.5, R8.5, W7.5, S6.5 overall 7.5 Spouse: L5.5, R6.0, W7.0, S6.5 overall 6.5 WES: Two or more certificates, diplomas or degree. Am the principal applicant aged 40yrs with over 15years proven engineering maintenance experience. Please, the experts in the house what do you advise, some people advise I enter into the pool and get provincial nomination e.t.c, will rewriting the test offer much? Considering my age, what are the demerits of provincial nomination as I can see some people don't want to got through nomination. Any other options available to get the ITA? Every good advise and enlightenment is appreciated. |

Hello House. I have been MIA. The wait is real and good to take a break from it all sometimes (I think). Congratulations to everyone that got ITA and Aced their IELTS. I trust God to give me a new song as I write my 3rd and final IELTS exams. So I wanted to ask, i have my fathers elder brothers daughter in canada, can she pass for my sister based on the new inclusion. we have the same surname but she shortened hers when she got to Canada and she is canadian. Please advise/ assist. Also, does anyone know where I can learn french in lagos mainland since it takes a while, i want to try other avenues to gather point. Thank you. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Bimpsy99: 9:02am On Apr 08, 2017 |
Hi. God will give you a testimony soon. Your description fits that of a cousin and not a sister, your sister is blood related either same parents or you share same dad or mun (step) also bear in mind that she has made a declaration of all her family, sisters and all while applying for PR. Its difficult to claim sibling if your name is not there. You have to be careful of misrepresentation cos they keep records All the best peppers: 2 Likes |

From the ECA reports i have seen so far, they only write the year of completion. Not sure if thus will affect your evaluation as long as they get the transcript from school. Anyone with IQAS experience can throw more light. @40manlappy Lochinny: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Bimpsy99: 9:15am On Apr 08, 2017 |
Hi, retaking the test may not add much value considering your age. You may consider getting a job offer in any of the provinces and also apply for a provincial nomination. It only takes more time than direct ITA but in the end you will get the PR. All the best Godliftedme: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by optionese: 9:27am On Apr 08, 2017 |
Write a letter explaining the mistake and your husband should sign ,scan it and send it as a fax using hello faxm google it . Its free, also if you haven't sent your documents from your end , there is a place at the bottom of the form that you can make corrections and changes use it. When you send the fax wait for like 3 working days and call them. Be persistent when you call don't let them give you a generic answer. All the best Lochinny: 1 Like |

engineering is one of then in demand jobs in canada. So there is hope. You should check previous pages on people who got provincial nomination. On the search page type super hi. He got a provincial nomination. He's no longer active but if you read his post you will get insight. Are you less than 30 though? Master's? If you retake ielts and score well you can get EE 5371325] Thanks sir. @Lochinny: Your ECA will only show year of completion as Bimpsy99 rightly stated. I don't think you have to worry too much. If it will give you peace of mind, you may follow optionese suggestion but it is the year that matters. @joyuzo Thank you, wish you the best in the test 2 Likes |
