Thanks a lot @vcole
My husband is a pharmacist but it was stated that if u are applying as a retail or hospital pharmacist. But he's not applying as both. He's applying as a pharmaceutical sales representative. That's where he has experience and he has a degree in pharmacy. Since I'm not the principal applicant my evaluation is needed for points. So I can be evaluated by others not necessarily the Mcc.(as I was told by a friend.)
So I'm I on track??

vcole:
@Spatz81, I carefully read through your post. That was a very important update to the rules that you brought to the fore. It means that if an applicant receives an ITA on say April 1st and has his birthday on May 1st and submits his eAPR on May 1st or after, whenever the immigration officer begins to review his application for eligibility checks (i.e. A11.2), he stands the chance of being denied permanent residence based on not being eligible if by virtue of losing points for age, his CRS drops below the required cut off for the draw in which he was invited.
However, if he submits after his birthday and yet even with the points lost for age, his CRS still meets or surpasses the cut off for the draw, his application would be fine. Also, if he goes ahead to submit his eAPR before his birthday on May 1st, his app would be fine.
Bottom line - once you receive an ITA, endeavour to submit your eAPR before your next birthday if you know that your CRS less 5 points would make you fall below the cut off for your draw.

@bimpsy99, pls take note that "your application would not be refused" is not the same as having a successful outcome.

@esosa4real, I got my passport back siiiiiincceee in February. It only took 5 days. Don't worry about your medicals, sometimes it gets updated quickly, other times it takes a while.

@40manlappy,congrats. This has been a long time coming. I wish you a smooth sail from here on.

@markab, I am female oh. I often wonder why "thanks bro" is the default response when someone gives a reply. Is it only men that provide answers? #justsaying

@lochinny, medical doctors can only evaluate their degrees through MCC and pharmacists can only evaluate theirs through PEBC, any other evaluation done by any other evaluating agency would be declared null and void by IRCC. If your husband is the PA and his estimated crs scores WITHOUT evaluating your own degree is 459, then y'all may want to write ielts and get his own degree evaluated and get into the pool asap to take advantage of the wind of low cut off draws.

@ugoiyke79e, that eAPR form can be dicey. You may have to fill all the info again seeing as it wiped off.

Greetings to all. Congrats to all new ITA recipients. And to the hopefuls, hang in there. It'll happen soon.

P.S.
If anyone new here sent me PMs, pls kindly endeavor to ask your questions here as I would be unable to respond to the messages via email.

Thanks @optionese
I've not sent the documents. Just paid for it yesterday.should I still go on with the fax?
Is the correction at the bottom of the application form??
optionese:
Write a letter explaining the mistake and your husband should sign ,scan it and send it as a fax using hello faxm google it . Its free, also if you haven't sent your documents from your end , there is a place at the bottom of the form that you can make corrections and changes use it. When you send the fax wait for like 3 working days and call them. Be persistent when you call don't let them give you a generic answer. All the best

Wow!!! So I read from page 0 to 366. The pain is/was worth it. I know virtually everything I need to know. I'll advise all those asking questions to take the pain and read through the pages. I have no ECA and Ielts yet. I am finishing my MA anytime from July. However, with the way the CRS is between 430-445, I'm tempted to use my BA alone instead if waiting for my MA which might not be out till November. Also, I'm presently trying to study the ielts in general. I'm definitely using Iqas for my ECA. Thank you all.

Quick question for those that have gotten their PPR. Wat was the average wait period between when you received ur AOR and ur PPR?

Secondly, how long does it take to receive ur passport back after PPR?

Dear everyone,

I am not claiming points for my NYSC employment but the system is requesting that I upload employment records for this period. Will my NYSC certificate alone be enough since I am not claiming points for this period? Has anyone done this in the past without any problem?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by coolhayor: 2:14pm On Apr 08, 2017
You do not need to load any documents for NYSC employment since u aint claiming points for it. Just put it in the personal section as employment. Datzzz all

When you pay you will be sent an e-mail with two documents :the application form and a document checklist. At the bottom of the checklist there is a space for amendments . You can fax our documents or if your school allows send together with your transcripT. For the fax use hellofax.com it's very straightforward.

for you and your husband certificate again let me retiatrate what @vcole said: you two cannot use IQAS .you have to use the ECA for doctors and the ECA for pharmacists for your husband. It's not about the job experience but your qualifications

Google crs score ,enter in your details you will have an idea of your exact score. You should think of redoing your ielts . It will help to get LRSW of 8.5 8 7.5 7.5. You should also think of provincial nominations. None is open at the moment

hello all. I just joined this forum after reading lots of threads in between, you guys are doing wonderful job here. Please I have a question,

how best can I show my POF, I don't want to send bank statements for the six month period as it might raise other questions, is it possible that I get just what CIC need from GTbank that will state my average monthly balance and current balance?. Anyone done this before?

Thank you in advance

Use the following link as recommended by optionese. You can determine your likely score. It may also open your eyes to other possibilities.

You may also consider retaking IELTS.

As optionese said, it's about the degree. If he had a bachelors or masters in sales for instance, that's different. If his qualification is a B. Pharm or Pharm. D, IRCC will refuse him permanent residence on the basis of ineligibility. He MUST evaluate with pebc. You may wanna figure out how to get a refund from iqas. Try giving them a call during work hours.

Well done. I know how tasking it could be but it's totally worth it. If your estimated crs with your BA would get you up to 430 and above, it's worth evaluating and getting into the pool.

Yoooo whatever permutation you are doing, just roll with that 6months tbh...We have had testimonies of 2 or 3months here, whereas we have had people with 5months to a little over 6months...it actually really does vary.

Looks like a very good candidate for ITA. I suggest you evaluate your BA immediately, prepare well to write IELTS and dive into the pool.

If there are no major constraints like proof of fund, etc, you may not need to wait for the MA. No one can predict what the cutoff score would be once the PNPs start hitting the pool.

He's not applying as a pharmacist. But as a pharmaceutical sales representative which is in category B and not A.where they don't need his licence.
Please help me clarify this coz I'm more than confused now

Hi,

Is it okay if I upload a scanned copy of a passport photo that is 50mm by 70mm(as seen in this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf) when I get my ITA request?

Is 50mm by 70mm passport photo acceptable for the ITA request photo?

Hurry up and get into the pool. Bird at hand is worth two in the bush. If you don't get an invite by the time you obtain your MA, you can evaluate that and update your profile. However, with the recent trend, you should get an ITA with 441 if you get into the pool asap.

Hello everyone, pls my spouse has bsc in computer science frm Nigeria nd pgd (1yr) in supply chain mgt frm Canada. Do we still need to evaluate his bsc, seeing that he has a certificate frm canada?

Also, is the accompanying spouse going to submit reference letters for all job history stated nd do the jobs have to be NOC 0,A or B for the accompanying spouse?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by JESUnifemi4eva: 7:45pm On Apr 08, 2017
Edit your employment records by removing the NYSC details and you won't be required to upload a reference letter for your NYSC details since you are not claiming points for it.

Make sure you include your NYSC details in your personal history and please don't say you have worked in a government establishment (as per NYSC) otherwise it might delay your application as earlier stated on this thread.

All the best
