Thank you. With MA, my crs is 478, with BA, it is 441.
I'm 24 and single, 5 years working experience.

Looks very good as 40manlappy mentioned.
Bear in mind that from June, the minimum (cut off) CRS mark MAY likely increase when the new additional points rule for french speaking (15 or 30) and people with siblings (15) starts. There are perhaps thousands of people looking to benefit from this. If your CRS score will be 478, you should be fine, but with 441, it may be very tight for direct EE ITA from June and probably may be so for a while. So move very fast!
I myself am on a rat race to enter the pool in time before June, else I'll have to write french exam to boost my score smiley

Thanks for all ur help and suggestions. I understand where u're coming from. He has a B.pharm. but can u go through this i saw on cic.. I think it's indicating on the job u're applying as. He's not applying as a pharmacist. But as a pharmaceutical sales representative which is in category B and not A.where they don't need his licence.
Please help me clarify this coz I'm more than confused now
Thank u so much for understanding
You should cast your net wider in terms of researching for an answer to this. I haven't read of anyone who applied under pharm sales rep with a b pharm so I may not be the best to answer your question. From the screenshot, it appears that it may fly. Find out if the noc under which he's applying requires a license in Canada.

Dear All,

I got my ITA on Wednesday after the last draw. But here are my questions and my worries.

1. My passport Expires in September 2017 and I have till July to submit my application at which point my passport would be less than three months to expiration. Hopefully by this time in May I should have submitted my application. My question here is that can I still use my current passport details? Although I have applied for a new one but was told that I may not receive it till the next two months due to scarcity of passport booklet being experienced Nationwide now in Nigeria.

2. If the new passport is not out till the period that the ITA would expire, what option do I have?

3. My current passport expires in September and hopefully by then without delay and if everything goes well... I should have gotten the visa. If I input the details of my current passport now. Will it be possible to change it later when the new passport arrives?

I hope I made sense with my questions. Your candid opinion would very well be appreciated

Yes you still need to evaluate his Bsc from Nigeria since it was not obtained in Canada.

Accompanying spouse does not need to submit reference letters and the job does not necessarily have to be in NOC O, A, or B. If the job for the accompanying spouse was not in Canada, reference letter is not mandatory.

Epudome:
Hello everyone, pls my spouse has bsc in computer science frm Nigeria nd pgd (1yr) in supply chain mgt frm Canada. Do we still need to evaluate his bsc, seeing that he has a certificate frm canada?

Also, is the accompanying spouse going to submit reference letters for all job history stated nd do the jobs have to be NOC 0,A or B for the accompanying spouse?

Wow, I did not even know that. Thank you very much. I also wanted to ask, I did not get any score for work experience. I am wondering if it is just me or it is how it is for everyone on the EE portal but upon entering the pool to get the 67 and above points, i was scored on it. please advise.
Thank you

Hi. God will give you a testimony soon. Your description fits that of a cousin and not a sister, your sister is blood related either same parents or you share same dad or mun (step) also bear in mind that she has made a declaration of all her family, sisters and all while applying for PR. Its difficult to claim sibling if your name is not there.

You have to be careful of misrepresentation cos they keep records

All the best

I do not think the BSc would need to be evaluated as the highest qualification (PHd) was from a Canadian Institution...

Unfortunately, he's got no PhD but a year PGD. The post graduate diploma (PGD) may not fly without combining it with a BSc.

studyexec has mentioned another important factor that should persuade you to move fast.

Imagine the impact that applicants with 30 + 15 marks would have on the pool from June 6!

Looks like a very good candidate for ITA. I suggest you evaluate your BA immediately, prepare well to write IELTS and dive into the pool.

If there are no major constraints like proof of fund, etc, you may not need to wait for the MA. No one can predict what the cutoff score would be once the PNPs start hitting the pool.

Thanks for this piece, I'll do that ASAP.

Hurry up and get into the pool. Bird at hand is worth two in the bush. If you don't get an invite by the time you obtain your MA, you can evaluate that and update your profile. However, with the recent trend, you should get an ITA with 441 if you get into the pool asap.

Thanks Vcole, I'm diving into the pool like Micheal Phelps soon.

Ontario usually accepts candidates with 400 CRS, not sure if they are taking at the moment. Check Saskatchewan too.

Good morning great people!! Please I have a problem. While filling IQAS application, I mistakenly put November 21st 2005 as the date my hubby finished school instead of 30th September 2005 that was written on the statement of result. I don't know how to correct it because IQAS can not be edited and I feel it might affect the evaluation. Please what should I do?

If you haven't paid for the ECA, just refill the form. But if you have paid, include the correction in the box provided for additional information, if you have already sent this form, then u will need to send iqas a fax stating the mistake in date. Cheers!

Since he isn't going to be working as a pharmacist dispensing drugs, you are on the right track of using iqas.

But if he gets to Canada and decides to be doing proper Pharm work then he will need to evaluate with Pebc

Why not wait and get the new passport since u said d passport will b out in 2 months from now,i guess that should be in mid-June. U still have 90 days to submit which will lapse in July. Wait , do it right & get ur PR rather than u getting rejected by 1 overworked Consular officer.

hello all. I just joined this forum after reading lots of threads in between, you guys are doing wonderful job here. Please I have a question,

how best can I show my POF, I don't want to send bank statements for the six month period as it might raise other questions, is it possible that I get just what CIC need from GTbank that will state my average monthly balance and current balance?. Anyone done this before?

Thank you in advance oo

Since you don't want to use a bank statement for reasons best known to you, maybe you should explore treasury bill or fixed deposit certificate.

My response didn't take into consideration that you already have ITA. Please refer to v.cole's post on page 357. You may need a statement eventually.

How about exploring the option of a gift deed? It has been discussed extensively on this forum. Use the "search" tool at the top of this page to look it up. All the best!

Hi all,
What happens if your police certificate expires during processing?
The Nigerian police certificate is valid for 3 months and I got mine in February (had ITA in January but declined in March) and I plan to submit my application this week but my police certificate would be expiring end of this month.
