For next season, Conte needs a solid back up for Moses. He also needs more forward options. I know you guys will rain abuses on me. Just me dreaming out. Why can't he get Messi? TheSuperNerd: |

Been a while?? Iheanacho's CNN international goal of the week strike against Tanzania.. Iheanacho's CNN international goal of the week sleek goal against Zambia (beats C.Ronaldo's goal scored in same week even).. Sikiru Olatunbosun's CNN international goal of the week strike this season in the NPFL.. Ndidi's strike against Club Bruges that won him goal of the year in Belgium recently.. Ndidi's stunner against Stoke City just last week or so.. Iheanacho's curler against Southampton last season.. Henry Onyekuru's solo goal for KAS Eupen when he ignored all other teammates and beat defender and keeper to slot home.. this season There are many biko.... and you say it's been a while? Yara Yara.... abeg bring me that plank..... Joebie: 1 Like |

Joebie: Yea the sad part was the violent aftermath. The team and referee where under attack after the game. |

Did Messi say to bury him with his coffin wrapped in Barca colors? is Soares the only target for Moses? TheSuperNerd: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 6:26pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
BascoVanVeli: That is always the problem with winning away.. Sometimes, you can't blame the referees for favoring the home team. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 6:28pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
hahahaha.. who no like e life?.. away wins are forbidden.. The problem then is our police. Kano Pillars should be banned from playing at home for the rest of the season BascoVanVeli: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:32pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
Kano fans are almost always violent when Kano pillars lose at home...... and that is because they hardly lose at home... I think it was two seasons ago where their 12- year unbeaten home record was shattered to pieces by which team again sef? **scratches head** Nassarawa Utd I think? Ever since then, Kano fans have been so awful in the face of defeat.... and especially when teams come and outplay their darling team in Kano and look like getting a result.... BascoVanVeli: |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:39pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
Looollll..... you may never know.... We are talking about a player who is suggesting that Barca should sell Andre Gomes..... just because of his return of 1 goal and 2 assists in about 37 apps... looollll (messi don't know Gomes leads the rankings for best passes percentage in the UCL, best passes % in opposition areas and best passes % into the final third of the pitch). This is who you think will leave Barca anytime soon? Person wey dey mingle into barca transfer business.... loollll Anyway, Messi feels he owes Barca his life after how they helped take care of his growth hormone deficiency problem when he was a boy. But if Messi leaves (highly unlikely).... It won't be to Chelsea. But again, anything is possible in football.... As for Moses.... Soares is the only name I hear or have read about for now.... Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:42pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
Well.... I speak specifically about Kano fans.... we know how the home win mentality is all over Nigeria in the league.... but I am particular about Kano. This is not the first, second or even third.... Kano was once an invincible dungeon for away teams but ever since that Nassarawa loss... they take losses so badly... tbaba1234: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 6:43pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
tbaba1234: This is what I had said, it is not so easy to say our clubs can't win. Just like that ref in Gombe last week, he must have liked his body in one piece. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 6:49pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
it's true about other spheres of Nigerian life. The main problem is our mentality. We have been made to think like this over the years. It seems we need a savior in every aspect. MFM is the best team right now, but they lost away to 10th placed Nassarawa 4 nil in their last match. smh TheSuperNerd: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 6:49pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
TheSuperNerd: To be honest I am shocked. Kano fans have been some of the best in Nigeria but we have to admit that every human is capable of a moment of utter madness. I am in support of a stadium ban and more measures put in place to protect every stadium not just Kano. We need to train our police specifically for this kind of issue. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Mickael2(m): 6:51pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
TheSuperNerd: Please, I'd like to know where you saw those stats about Gomes because they are factually very very wrong. Gomes is the worst player on the Barca first team now, well probably not the worst generally but the biggest misfit there is. He misses easy chances in every single game he plays, PSG away, Malaga yesterday, poor poor player and to think that he was bought for 35M+ |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 6:51pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
they should have left him a dwarf.. he would have been even more dreaded today.. for humor sake I think I heard another name in the past (as regards Moses), let me do my research. TheSuperNerd: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:53pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
Exactly why I am miffed.... Their fans are always welcoming and cool but not until after their invincible home record was taken away..... #sad BascoVanVeli: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 6:53pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
Joebie: I think it was just frustration on the part of the fans, they just drew a match at home and now they not only lost but were outplayed. U are totally right the police has to carry the blame on this one. 1 Like |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 6:57pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
This is one reason why we are not represented by our best clubs in Africa. Some teams can make up for their earlier bad performances in away games. Maybe we need a mini league for the top half placed teams played in a neutral venue. BascoVanVeli: 1 Like |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 7:02pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
The mentality that clubs at home must win just has to die in Nigerian football.... It is sickening.... and preventing a very good league from reaching greatness.... And our police is just a mess..... what nonsense! what is tear gas used for again sef? or they don't have it too?? The LMC has to look into this again and take strict actions. Joebie: 1 Like |

I am getting info that even more ugly scenes are playing out in Katsina where Enyimba was taking on their hosts in an away NPFL tie.... Players and officials pelted with stones and their bus is also not left out of the mayhem.... what is happening today bikonu?? Kionshele?? kilode?? |

tbaba1234: Maybe, the coach sees something in Yahaya and the possibility of him making a good right back. I felt gutted when Coentrao got converted from a left winger to a left back. With time he became quality and played that role for Real Madrid. Before then, he was one of the most creative wingers I watched as a youngster. Let us give the coach time. |
