If his study permit will expire August (same month when he will complete his Masters) and you will be getting married in June, i would advise you wait until he gets his Post Graduate Work Permit before you apply for SOWP.

Bolded are the languages of agents trying to make money. It is possible but if i were you i will not tread that path. www.cic.gc.ca does not contain those bolded information so i wouldn't do such except and of course maybe refugee/asylum claimant.

Hi Everyone! my wife and I PR visa was approved last week. I did my landing on Sunday and my wife will be landing too very soon. Finally, the distance is covered and will be starting a family proper. Wish all the spouses out there trying to join their spouses in Canada good luck...

Hello everyone, I submitted my application at vfs in February and I have not received any response from them but right now my spouse is qualified to apply for PR. My question now is..is it possible to have 2 applications on at the same time because we want to apply for PR as a couple?
NB. I submitted through paper route so my international passport is with them.

Let your partner who is qualified apply for the PR... Leave your application for SOWP as it is.
They do not require your passport to apply for PR...
Whichever comes first... You can always withdraw your SOWP application if it's the PR and if it's the SOWP, na good luck be that!... You join your partner while you await PR!
You are in order.

But there's nothing stopping you from applying as partners.. Either you are in the same location or not.

I did not get any mail, checked my profile, and I saw 'You passed the medical exam'

Pls, cant we link paper sowp to online account? Ive tried unsuccessfully like 20xs. And I know I'm putting in the correct info. He's a first time applicant so no UCI and no application number since it's a paper application. But my daughter's application has been linked only hubby's own (sowp). Has anyone successfully linked sowp to online account b4?
