Brownbarbie97:I do care what they think of me to some extent. Take it or not, the waters always return to the ocean. A single bad apple spoils the bunch. Perhaps you can relate to the "all men are the same" charge. I believe in giving everyone the chance to prove themselves, which is called a fair hearing in the justice system. But sometimes we humans just lump everyone together and call it a day because its too much work to keep tabs on each person. We are all guilty of it. It works the same way some black people label all whites racists. I'm not throwing my hands in the air. We can actually do better. Brownbarbie97: What injustice If he is in their country illegally, then they need to take action as specified in their law. The legal and just thing (their country, their rules) to do was to deport him. Now some other of his fellow country men are obstructing justice. Obstruction of justice is a punishable crime. And in saner times those guys would pay a visit the police station straight from the airport. Take a look at it this way. News flash: Nigerian stays in the country illegally. News flash next day: Nigerians obstruct justice during attempted deportation. But like I said, they just postponed the deportation. As long as that guy has been cleared for deportation, they don't mind dropping him off a private jet inside Sambisa. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Brownbarbie97: Now you are bringing the charge of racism. But guess what? Go to their prisons and you will find their own people in same condition. So try to do better next time. Brownbarbie97: Good point. Brownbarbie97: Lol. They achieved nothing. Delay is not denial. The guy is still coming back home. 2 Likes |

Was the guy being deported from Frankfurt or what? Quite difficult to make head and tail of the root cause of the whole brouhaha from the video Perhaps they chained him cos he's violent or have violent tendencies? 4 Likes |

priceaction: Thank you for the mature statement. They do it a lot here. We know the tribe most likely to get in trouble in foreign lands...we just won't point fingers. Leave the m0r0n to his lies. He's obviously a failure in life to resort to such tactics. Almost 90% of Nigerians caught for immigration & drug and criminal offences are of a certain tribe... we all know who they are PS - 1. they shouldn't have chained him. Better ways of restraint e.g. those rubber restraints 2. He should have had his own valid papers 15 Likes 1 Share |

So he went to another man's country without papers and expected that he be welcomed with open arms? Judging from the video, he must have been 'restrained' for certain reasons, mostly for violent tendencies. And to think that his mouth was even 'burning' when others came to his rescue tells a lot. And for the bigot claiming the people recording are Igbos, I believe that is not true as I could clearly hear someone speaking Yoruba, obviously reporting that the restrained fellow was chained to an electric chair. 8 Likes 1 Share |

This is a commendable job. This is what we need in this country. One voice! There is absolutely no reason for putting the guy in chains on board. We also need to be objective in our judgement though. He has no documents. If their rules and regulation say you cannot stay in their country without documents, then they are just for deporting him but not in chains. The fact that he is removed from the plane doesn't mean that he will still not be deported eventually "based on logistics". 2 Likes |

Lanretoye:I think it is how the guy was treated. He was brought into the plane as a common criminal in chains. Imagine sitting with someone in that condition throughout the duration of your flight, it is inhuman, Nigeria definitely does not treat their Nationals like that. They would have held him until the number of deportees increase and then charter a private plane as they usually do or allow him to board without handcuffs and chains, but making sure he boards the plane. 4 Likes 1 Share |
