The height of stupidity. A parents poverty directly affects his/her children. If a child was a witch, why would a child make its parents poor? Simple logic is beyond Nigerians. Let's say an obscure relative from the village wants to 'scatter your destiny ' Would your child want to do that seeing as it would directly affect him/her? Why would a pikin want daddy to be poor? The average African is always looking for who to blame for his misfortunes, and ways to become prosperous without having to work hard like his mates. That's why they are the most religious race on earth. For many, God is a personal body guard who protects anyone who mentions blood of Jesus, and a lottery machine who multiplies their sown seed. When they fail to become prosperous despite all the seeds sown, then it has to be some evil power causing it, not because they made bad economic decisions, and certainly not because they aren't working hard enough. Certainly the worst of all such foooools are those who would believe that their own innocent kids are the source of their troubles.
