HI team, I promised to give update when my results come out, my story is: took IELTS results were LSRW 8.5,7.5,7,6 and had to take it again New result LSRW 8.5,7.5,7,7 i guess this is good if the draws remain low. i have masters and 33 years. my spouse's IELTS result has not been received. However, if my spouse's result is LSRW 7,7,7,6, without ECA for my spouse's masters, CRS should be 444. Any tit bits from the house on how to proceed? I intend entering the pool with what we have since bday is in July. Your thoughts please. thanks |

Kathyjex: Same IELTS score, most of our details r d same. Enter the pool sharp sharp, the water don dey dry. Last crs was 431 so u stand a chance of getting ITA next draw. If not just do ECA for spouse's MSc. 1 Like |

My People Post ITA, How is NYSC period treated; 1. Work history or Personal history? 2. employment, educational activity or government? your advice would be highly appreciated. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Ehrnie: 4:29pm On Apr 10, 2017 |
Spatz81: NYSC is treated as employment and sits under personal history if and only if you are not claiming employment points for the time spent doing the NYSC. However, if you are claiming employment points for NYSC, then you have to move it to work history and please note that you will be required to provide a reference letter from your employer. All the best! |

temitope06: You don't have to include your university transcripts. All you need to upload (as a single merged document) is your MSc + BSc + IELTS result + WES evaluation report. All the best! 1 Like 1 Share |

Hi Guys, I have a sister who currently resides in canada. One of the documents(aside PR card and birth certificate) to be submitted when ITA is received is a document from my sister to prove that she resides in Canada. Here's an excerpt from the cic site: - Evidence that the family member currently resides in Canada must be provided (a residential lease, mortgage documents, utility bills, etc.). The documents should be up to date as of six months prior to submission. Now, I asked my sister for utility bill and she says she doesn't have one. She says she has a phone bill though. My question is, is the phone bill a sufficient document to show as proof of residence in Canada? Will CIC accept it? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by omesanni: 4:56pm On Apr 10, 2017 |
Ehrnie: Is it compulsory that we merge into one single document. Can we upload them one file at a time?If i upload it one file at a time will that be a problem? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Ehrnie: 5:03pm On Apr 10, 2017 |
omesanni: Yes it will be a problem because you have just one upload under that section. So, you have to merge all the related documents into a single file. 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Oagwaye1: 5:27pm On Apr 10, 2017 |
omesanni:Convert the files to pdf and merge as one file for each placeholder |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Ehrnie: 5:35pm On Apr 10, 2017 |
omesanni: Google PDF merger or small pdf dot com |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by temitope06(m): 5:35pm On Apr 10, 2017 |
omesanni: Just google jpeg to PDF, many options to pick from. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Oagwaye1: 5:36pm On Apr 10, 2017 |
omesanni:If you upload one document after the other, each subsequent document uploaded will replace the previous one that was uploaded , which means only the last uploaded document will be visible to the visa officers The only option is to merge multiple document e.g WES,degree certificate and IELTS as one file and upload in the corresponding placeholder |

Yes, phone bill is a sufficient proof of residence as far as it shows her full name and address. I would suggest you get at least 2 most recent phone bills of hers. omesanni: 1 Like |

omesanni: You can paste/insert the jpeg images into a word doc (ms word) and then save as a pdf file. This tends to produce small size and very clear pdf docs and will come in very handy for your POF and passport/travel history too. That's what I used for my application. 1 Like 1 Share |

OGIYEN: Yes, you can use treasury bills or fixed deposit certificate. You might still need to attach your bank statement to show the source of the funds especially if the start date for the investment is less than 6 months ago. |
