Hi!

First off, you'll need to get over the fear of being rejected. The worst the Embassy could say is a 'No', and then life goes on. Esp since you're not passionate about staying back.

With that out of the way, you'll need to do a good work at convincing everyone, not just the VO, that you really want to do this. And it's not just what your sister wants for you. There's nothing stopping you from taking charge of the entire application process. Choosing schools (and locations, taking tests, talking to others about your apps. All on your own.

Of course, your sis could provide some guidance. But that's it. Just little help here and there. Not the key ones for which you will be questioned on at the Embassy.

That way, it becomes easier to sell your story, and convince anyone you couldn't care less about staying back

INA Section 214(b). You can try, as obtaining a visa in your case is not impossible. However the fact that you already have an immigrant petition filed for you makes your chances almost slim to none.

Start ur application to the cc from here.
When u get there, Tell ur university to release ur SEVIS record to the College. If they agree, Then its just to resume at the college. This situation is tricky tho as many universities WILL NOT release ur sevis until u spend up to a semester with them. So u might want to check their transfer policy to be sure..
NB: You have to start the transfer within 30 days of arrival in the US.

I swear..This semester is CRAZY..TA/RA/crazy classes/Different class projects....I cant wait for this semester to be over. Again, this place is not easy like we used to think when we were in Nigeria. 3 courses and its like I am doing 20 courses but then thank God for his grace. How are you bro?

Offcourse you have to pay the fees again and then reschedule

i just rescheduled now and it went through, a confirmation mail was sent to me.
i just got off the phone with the American embassy and i was told i can make use of the payment receipt twice i.e to reschedule twice. that if i am to reschedule the third time i will have to pay another visa fee

o boy fear first catch me say i go pay another visa fee ni sha

Here is the thing - Why would you? Why would you go half way around the world, and then apply to change schools? Why not just apply for a visa to the school you actually want to go to now? What happens if they deny a transfer? Why put yourself through that?

It's up to you, but if you have the option to correct this BEFORE you travel, then that is ALWAYS the best solution.
