Great works here but I suggest you guys reduce or limit your use of flat concrete roofs.

Hello sir. There are roofs. hidden inside block works and sloped to concrete Decks. properly damp proofed. Once it is done you do not need to go maintaining it as far as its done well.

My take is that never let your fear for something derail you from the Idea you want to do. Besides its not the first time its been done. all these buildings below have hidden roof. So its nothing

You just showed pictures of public buildings (banks). These guys spend millions in yearly maintenance, and some of the images you uploaded had their walls finished with tiles.

It is not always about slabs and melted rubber or tar (felt). Look at the wall in the image below. How do you solve that?
Do you know how regular the banks maintain theirs and how much it will cost a private citizen to do same?

bros the only reason why we use Overhangs and Parapet is because we like it. If you think Maintaining such building is significantly different from maintaining a building without parapet, then you need to sway away from the Nigerian maintenance culture. First thing first. If that house you posted had a parapet. It still would have been messed up. Take a look at the pillars, Parapet cannot cover those. that just shows the quality of paint. also Building with parapet also have balconies that rain water and other weather forms must touch. You can't cover their corresponding body parts with parapet.

Now there are 3 major problems with the construction of that house construction that is probably running it down.
1: poor paint was used.

2: The guy has probably decided he wont paint his house for years to come. For crying out loud, you should maintain your property. Do not wait 10 years before repainting.

then 3: and most Killing is the Guy that did the house made a Major blunder with the top of the wall. When dressing the top wall. You don't slope it outward, you slope the top inwards. What he has done now has resulted to the situation where when water falls on the top Wall, it Drains on the Outer body of the house, instead of draining on the Inner body into the roof portion. The the water draining from the TOP of the wall that create those lines you see there.

There is a guy that supplies from Mile2 those days. i dont know if he is till there. Before festac town entrance. Though the dimension is different from what you have stated.
