Hello fam, Please i need the help of any mama/papa coming back to naija soon I want to purchase the attached drug from Amazon, but unfortunately they don't do overseas shipping for the particular product. I desperately need it and can't find it in any pharmacy here in Lagos. Please help a sister, pls I have my dollar card for payment, will only need to ship to your address in the US. Just 4 bottles, they are very lightweight. I stay in Lagos but will pay for dispatch from anywhere you are shipping from in Nigeria. God bless!

boluwagin: So just as I promised to share my total bill and experience for my first Missionary Journey: Hospital Bill - 3k for noncomplicated vaginal delivery (it has to be paid before discharge from the hospital to qualify for the discount package) Dr fee - 1k for vaginal delivery (payment is due at initial doctors appointment) Lab test - 158 Ultra scan - 120 Paediatrician - 300 Well Child Check - 95 (this was done at JPS hospital fort Worth) LO birth cert. - 23 each (collected two copies) American Passport - 165 (I got it by mail exactly 13days after applying) I got my zero balance from the hospital by mail 3 weeks after discharge. I left US with LO on the 30th of March, got to Qatar and was hoping to get a transit visa to qualify for an hotel in Doha but sadly our Visa wasn't granted by the immigration, we had to stay at the airport for a 12hrs layover. Thank God it's finally over for now, I will hang my coat and hibernate till further notice. Thanks to everyone who has shared their experiences, bills and answered both my public and direct questions, God bless you all especially @chloe7 @temmyo ...@dyout Congratulations and thank you so so much for the assistance with LO letter of Consent and it was nice to meet your Madam a fellow Nairalander in diaspora. Peace! 11 Likes |

hello everyone. please I am new here and I have some questions to ask..I travelled to the US with my family (myself, spouse n son) in 2014 and again in 2015...had a baby in Boston. Upon Dropbox renewal we were refused visas on grounds that the visa was for visiting and not for medicals...my question is, what can we do to get our visas back? please it's rather urgent...thanks |

I have gotten a lot of emails from nairalanders in the last few days asking for a sample of my change of intent letter, i will assume its because you think i got some special treatment at POE as a result of writing something very poetic to the consulate and not because you're lazy about searching through the threads for a sample like i did. So here it is, please dont send any emails asking for it again. This is just a sample, you should edit to suit your purpose . Dear US embassy, I write to inform you of my intention to use my B1/B2 visa to give birth in the us, the visa was originally gotten for business/vacation purpose and i travelled in Bleep for Bleep meeting and had a two week vacation afterwards and have not been to the US since. I have contacted a doctor and a hospital in the us and have been able to confirm that I have the financial ability to pay our bills. i will be arriving in April 2017. I look forward to hearing from you. End of sample. Now they always send everybody the same generic response that basically tells you, you're not obligated to tell them and makes you feel like you wasted your time. I responded to their generic email by saying a warm thank you and they in turn said 'thank you for my feedback', which is the only non-generic email i have from them. So my advice: as someone who tot the change of intent email was a waste of time, but sent it out of 'let me sha do copy copy n send', my poe experience has tot me that it is quite useful and a blessing. 14 Likes |

boluwagin: Congrats boluwagin, and welcome home. Please which pediatrician checked baby at the hospital, and how did you get your bill of 300? |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by nefertitiram: 9:54pm On Apr 11, 2017 |
reniduke: Thanks for sharing but some clarification has to be made. You got ur visa for conference or a meeting, and you used it for the purpose.. And a lot later you went for childbirth. I got my visa for a business meeting as well, visited US 3 times before having my baby, and when it was time to renew it was a piece of cake because it was used for the purpose it was gotten already. I didnt need to send in a letter, but that was before trump era. what you sent is not a change of intent, this is notification of intent. The change of intent letter has become useless for the people who knowingly lied about their intentions and show up at POE a few months later with 9 months pregnancy. The embassy personnel are not exactly naive you know. Infact, their eyes are shining well well 14 Likes 1 Share |

Please does anyone know if the passport booklet scarcity most Nigeria consulates are facing is over? I want to apply for Passport at New York but I want to be sure I will get it early enough before paying the money on INNOVATE... Please if you have in-house information on whether they still delay or not at this consulate, let me know please. I will appreciate direct info from someone who knows someone that works there. Their website (Nigeriahouse...), of course, won't tell you if they have booklet or not. Thanks. Travel back date is getting nearer and nearer for DW and our LO. |

jesufifunmi:You can also use one of the many courier companies mostly at Ajao estate. You simply register with them and then use their US address as your address on Amazon and they will send your good across for a small fee. With that you can keep shopping at Amazon 1 Like |

Good day all Please has anyone used Qatar airlines before or recently? Heard their Poe is Doha? Please can someone share the Poe encounter. Also, was accommodation given during the layover. What did they ask for as fit to fly. Thanks |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by drafrican: 12:56am On Apr 12, 2017 |
pointednose: spoke about this earlier their poe is in the USA not doha left on the 5th of April have ur drs report and FAAN medical certificate if you are less than 32 weeks and submit it upon check in if you are over 32 weeks one week before u fly get your MEDIf form from qatar or download online and have a dr fill it, it must be submitted 48 hours before you fly and you must obtain an approvsl from qatar before you fly along with this MEDIF form you need the FAAN medical cettificate snd your dr's fit to fly. qatar is in the habit of returning passengers to naija at checkin to the USA if you are noticed to be pregnant snd dont have the MEDIF form because their flight is long and you are a high risk passenger. thats where the story about poe being in doha came from but its not true, they are just strict about flying pregnant women. 1 Like 1 Share |
