There is something on student applicant visa i saw on Daad. Like u apply even when u haven't yet received a notice of admission. So i thought that was what majority were doing.

Even me dey wonder. But I'm guessing if Nigeria does not declare the day as public holiday, embassy should work though.

Friday and Monday are both public holidays in Germany which might affect the embassy in Nigeria too. Shalom

If you are staying in Lagos or close to Lagos, you can send a message to the embassy for self pick up . Shalom
