There is no sense in this at all,so if it is left to be a private mosque where at most 15persons come to pray and God forbid there is an inferno, those people can die for all he cares. I lived close to baba Akinbami's petrol station in Ado for more than a year and the mosque is only crowded during jumat and eid prayers and during this time there is no sale of petrol and other products. |

adesamix: You must definitely be living in the moon. So Fayose never insulted Buhari? All the rubbish you wrote here are complimentary right? I am actually wasting my time joining issues with you because the way you write speaks volume of whom you are. I am apolitical mind you, but I will say once again that Fayose has no moral right to feel bad when being insulted because that is his trade mark! 1 Like |

Ayblaize: If human beings can work in a filling station from morning till night, what stops human beings from praying 3 times a day for 10 minutes each? Some filling stations even have shops with workers that work 12 hours everyday. That is not a problem. But Muslims praying for 30 minutes a day constitute health hazard? I laugh in Spanish! |

mykeljosef: Yoruba Muslims have never attacked adherents of other religions Given the hateful and violent background of yours, anyone who has never attacked others never use their sense mykeljosef:And have you mentioned this to all the people going to the eateries and shops at the filling stations Suddenly filling stations become inflammable because Muslims are praying mykeljosef:Typical intolerant Christian No matter the good news you give to a Christinan, his/her mood will become dark when s/he sees Mulsim going about their business |

adesamix: We are learning how deceptive you can be Anyway one should not touch the Church, but you can deprive Muslims and harass them for "insulting you" http://www.younewsng.com/2017/01/09/fayose-curses-buhari-govt-for-forcing-adeboye-to-step-down/ The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose Buhari’s government and APC will see the wrath of God for forcing Adeboye to step down as the General Overseer of Redeemed..’The God of Adeboye, Kumuyi will bring down all the enemies in this government…This government wants to subdue the church, God will subdue them. They are ridiculing leaders of the church, God will rubbish them’..he said with abusive vituperation |

Thank you Fayose for a very good observations but I would like you to look at it from another angle while the Government refuse to say anything about the provision store that is in the filling Station who have more customers that patronise them often and often. The point is, he trying to make us understand that Muslims have a lower percentage in Ekiti. Muslims pray 5times in a day and every devoted Muslim is to observe his prayers. What did he mean by if it turn to public use, did the Builder of the mosque build it for his family? and in Islam we pray in congregation which mean he will still demolish the mosque if he see peoples performing prayer in congregation because its already go against his law . In Nigerian everyone knows that Muslim build mosque in there owned filling stations than the way Christian build churches in Christian owned filling Station. later they will say Muslim is this and that. for the Records go and see how the Crusaders kills innocent Muslims in there Land and conquer there Land later in the name of colonisation. because of ur own interest you corrupt there systems and think they will leave a happy life at home. I said that because some of us reasons that Fayose did a great thing by wanting to be demolishing mosques in filling station but they can have bar and provision store in filling station. 1 Like |

Pavore9: You are not worried about workers that spend about 12 hours everyday in the filling station. You are not worried about customers . The filling station. You are not worried about customers of the shops in the filling station. Some filling stations even have eatries where food are cooked, but you are not worried for the customers nor the workers. You are worried about worshippers that will spend 10 minutes 3 times a day in the mosque in the filling station? |
Re: Mosque Demolition: Fayose, Ekiti Muslim Leaders Reach Pact by Pavore9: 9:09pm On Apr 12, 2017 |
mfm04622: The basic question remains "is the construction of a mosque/church within a filling station fall within the law?" |
Re: Mosque Demolition: Fayose, Ekiti Muslim Leaders Reach Pact by mfm04622: 9:24pm On Apr 12, 2017 |
Pavore9: Most of the "mosques" are not even buildings. Just a place set aside for praying. Some have low blocks with roof. If shops and eatries can be built in filling stations, what make mosques unlawful? Look, the truth is Muslims have always been marginalised in Nigeria. Nigerian laws were based on British laws that was based on Christian laws. Our Financial system was based on same Christian principles. However, for Muslims to get the same right as Christians in Nigeria have been a pain. Sha, I understand. In Nigeria, the majority of an area is never happy unless they are depriving the minority of one right or the other |
Re: Mosque Demolition: Fayose, Ekiti Muslim Leaders Reach Pact by Pavore9: 9:55pm On Apr 12, 2017 |
mfm04622: Having a place of worship within the grounds of a filling station violates building codes. Across the world, a good number of gas stations/filling stations have eateries and shops. The West introduced the present banking system but over the years from the Presidency of Shehu Shagari through to General Abdusalam, the need to have an Islamic bank to cater for the need of those who need it was not a priority until few years ago. Talking about minority, that is what Coptic Christians have been suffering for being a minority in Egypt as their places of worship are always attacked and the Egyptian government have not been seen to put those extremists where they rightfully belong- behind bars. |

Pavore9: Look, Muslim rights ha never been championed by Muslim leaders. Never! They are happy with the status quo. It has always been urgent, but nobody paid attention to it till they saw it being realised. Let's limit the discussion to Nigeria. It is never easy to fight against terrorism. Even first world nations don't find it easy. Can you please tell me the exact building code that forbid building mosques in filling stations. As if building code is inflexible. Or only what Oyinbos give us a right and correct? We can't modify to suit our need? Oyinbos don't build mosques in filling stations, so it must be wrong? If the building code allow cooking in a filling station, how can that building code forbid a mosque that worshippers spend 30 minutes in a day in? In fact, mosques in filling stations are meant for use of the workers in the filling stations. Accept this for what it is. An attempt to bully Muslims in the state. Simple. |
Re: Mosque Demolition: Fayose, Ekiti Muslim Leaders Reach Pact by Pavore9: 1:48am On Apr 13, 2017 |
mfm04622: It is not about Oyinbos giving you codes abi no be our state houses of assembly they make law for the states and as Fayose stated the mosques being built was not part of the approval plan. You can write to them to look into accommodating the need for of a mosque within a filling station but personally I will never advocate for a Church there as there are always other places one could have it and it will no way make me feel victimized. I have personally made Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency to close down two Churches in my street in Lagos because you can't claim to worship God at the expense of constituting a nuisance to the well being of others and those churches knew I was behind it.. me I no send! |
