It's a known fact since the season began that Barcelona this season is pathetic. However, Barcelona didn't get disgraced at home.

I told them on this thread that Ancelloti is NOT an upgrade on Pep. Now the truth is glaring to their faces.

Toni Kroos was the best player on the pitch by miles. Followed by Modric in the 2nd half. Marcelo was decent too but only in defense, he didn't contribute meaningfully going forward.

Benzema was absolutely useless and he should have come off earlier for Morata.

All those Ballon d'or chants for Ronaldo are premature but great game by him.

He is always a calamity . 90% of goals conceded by neuer was via his errors. His positioning has always been poor. Hummels is Bayern's leader in defence and we just saw what his absence caused today , with stvpid mistakes from Martinez and calamitous boathand. FIFA will never rate these types of defenders.

As for Bayern they missed the runs and positioning of Lewa. Even when the midfield was being dominated by Bayern, Ribery could not do much on the wings as he was neutered by Bale and Carvahal. On the other flank, Robben tried all he could but Ronaldo was pulling back to help Marcelo mark him and Lahm.

I know the tie is not over but Bayern will need a red card from Madrid in the 2nd leg to score all the goals they will need as Madrid will score at Bernabeau too.
